Customers often highlight the excellent performance, impressive build quality, and long battery life of the ROG Zephyrus 15.6" QHD Gaming Laptop. Many also praise its powerful GPU, lightweight design, and vibrant display, along with the keyboard. However, some users mention that the laptop can get hot, and the fan noise can be noticeable. great laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing build. This is such a nicely packaged machine. Keyboard is so good. It also runs very quiet and cool while on productivity tasks. One odd thing that annoys me is that - the screen flash once when you plug/unplug the power cord. It's not a big deal but I haven't seen that on other brand laptops.

Beast laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has been the best laptop I've bought. I actually upgraded it with more ram and storage nvmes. I eats everything you put on it including VMs, CAD softwares and ANY game AT THE SAME TIME

A great thin and light gaming laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great Thin-and-light gaming laptop. It is fast, very powerful, and has a terrific display, It doesn't have a per-key RGB keyboard, but that's hardly a deal breaker. It also doesn't have a webcam, which to me is a good thing. The speakers are very good for a laptop, and the trackpad is great. The keys have decent travel, and the hinge for the display lifting the back of the laptop off the desk slightly to help with air flow is a nice touch. The 3070 graphics so far haven't even broken a sweat playing games at nearly the highest settings. About the only thing I don't care for is one of the ram "sticks" is soldered to the motherboard. I guess that's a small price to pay for having so much power in such a light chassis. Battery life seems pretty good, I did utilize the software to stop charging at 80% to help maximize the battery life span.

stay away
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Goes into standby in the middle of a game. I'm an IT person so of course I looked at settings for standby and hibernation. Its none of that - something defective. Looked at system event logs and confirmed it is going by itself, into standby mode - specifically when playing games. Possibly heat releated. Either way - stay away.

Great laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop. I got it for a great price and it runs everything I throw at it. It can even mine up to around 55 mh/s. I mine with it on top of a box fan of course. The CPU can get a bit warm so I disabled turbo mode and it runs at a cool average of 60C.

Solid laptop
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Plays most games at 4k60hz despite the underpowerwd gpu. The most demandimg new game may require 1440p for solid frame rates Extremely protable. Only complaint is the lack of availability and the fact they keep increasing the price. I got mine for 1999.99 in may of 2021.

Sleek, powerful, dependable
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop slaps as the younger kids say. I bought this as an upgrade to my old MSI laptop I had. This thing runs games like nobody's business. The thin design, amazing display with vibrant colors, sharpness and fast response time makes this one of the best gaming laptops I've had so far. The only downside is that because it is so thin, which I love, this thing can be a furnace which impacts it's performance a bit and battery life.

Best laptop of 2021
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow the beat my expectations! First the screen is amazing best 15 inch screen I've ever seen even better than the oled razor blade. Second performance is off the charts and the heat dissipation is amazing. The only thing I don't like about it is a gray color but you can probably skin it soon

Best Gaming Laptop for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Other than the fact that Asus has some known quality control issues with Backlight Bleed on their monitors this system is amazing.

Great top end gaming pc.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Asus products they have never disappointed me. This laptop has a great sturdy feel to it. The hardware is top of the line and you can't beat the price that they have for it. It runs perfect and i don't have any problems with an overly loud fan or anything else. Another great product!

Great laptop, with some quirks
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop itself was amazing, one detractor is no camera. But the real problem was in the software. Somethnig was calling the windows deep sleep API and after docking it via a TB4 dock the system would just reboot. I tried reinstalling several times, working through various bios settings. No luck. which is sad I absolutly loved this laptop. Its dead silent and a performance powerhouse. Only think keeping it from 5 stars was the sleep api issue that I ended up returning it for.

The super gaming laptop of the year
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Laptop is amazing, I got it as open box, it was in a very good condition, but the sad part for me that it was missing the usb-c adapter which was essential in my case. So i was really disappointed from that. Other than that the laptop is really powerful and is more than i expected.

Excellent Mobile Choice
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best portable solution to PC game. Powerful when plugged in. Excellent picture with the QHD. Expandable for hard drive space. Only drawback is one stick of ram is soldered to the board which means you can only expand one stick, which may mess with dual channel capability.

Pretty Nice
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It sucks that I bought it for full price right before it goes on sale or $300 off. As or as the performance goes, it eels very smooth, every triple A rated games I've thrown at it rendered no visible problems as of now, so I'm very satisfied to say the least.

Good laptop, but not for VR.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop was very nice when i got it. It plays games well. Its got a design that is both flashy and wont get you laughed out of a boardroom meeting. I bought this laptop with the intention to run some VR games on it. This is why i ended up returning it. I dont know the exact setup that they went with for how the ports are actually wired into the componets of the laptop. Here are some points of contention that i had. Out of the box my vr headset (Vive) stuttered ALOT. I would be sitting in the main menu for Beat Saber and it just would not stop jumping around. The 1 hdmi port is wired into the CPU's graphics and not the GPU's. You can get around this by using a adapter on the usb-C port which apparently is hooked into the GPU... i bought 2 seperate adapters to hopefully remedy this issues. It definitely helped but it still stuttered every few seconds. Trying to run things through separate ports wasnt working for me, so i tried running everything through the 2 Usb-C ports with a slew of adapters. Funny enough this helped a little bit too. But then a new issue arose. When the machine loads large amounts of data from the disk it seems to interfere with the gpu's frame timing. I have no idea if this was cause by power limitations or just priority issues software side. Either way it was noticeable qnd very weird. What did i think? Its a good laptop Looks good Preforms well Weird quirks with how the ports are set up A headache to get vr working well If you plan on playing non-vr games, go for it.
