Specs and performance is great. However speaker issues. The laptop that I picked up has speaker issues on the left. From what I can tell, this laptop has 4 speakers, 2 upward facing "tweeters" and 2 downward facing "subwoofers". I was unlucky enough to pick one up where the bottom left speaker distorts real bad when watching a movie, or watching videos (like someone trying to talk through plastic. This is not a software issue, as the right speakers work fine. After reading through some forums, apparently there are many people who face this same issue as well. Best buy woudn't exchange it, because they have no stock. So I am stuck with a laptop that can't play audio. Very disappointed.

Really nice. Works well and has a nice look. I don't use the speakers much but the left side speaker was broken.

This laptop is perfect in areas of performance hardware and design. The only downside i see is why does such a powerful machine run windows 10 home and not pro. Other than that. I absolutely love this machine.

Highly recommend. She gets a little toasty and the keyboard isnt the best. But a fan and a keyboard makes a world of difference. Runs everything i play better than i need. Great for a travel lifestyle that still does decent gaming.

This laptop has great POTENTIAL. Unfortunately, the truth is, if you're getting a G15, you're basically in the Asus lottery, and unfortunately, mine is afflicted with an odd problem in the speakers- the volume is incredibly soft, with almost no bass at all, in addition to several BOSD's. The sad fact is that Asus's quality control is not great. I had a G14, which I love (but which also had a fair number of kinks to work out), but this is a $2000 laptop with a plastic body, a screen with bad backlight bleed, and horrible speakers. Again, I'm sure I have the misfortune of ending up with a lemon, but I'm not giving them a second chance. There's so much to love in this design, but until Asus can get their quality control figured out, you're taking a gamble on whether or not you'll get one that works. Back to Best Buy this one goes.

Computer is fantastic. Would be 5 stars if the 16 gig ram module wasn't soldered on, or it was a 32 gig.

For the price this sounds like a great deal, a ryzen 9 and a rtx 3070 sign me up right? Thing is though its a 80watt 3070 thats not bad heck would be fine but the problem comes from optimus not being able to be turned off. Sure you can bypass it by plugging the laptop into an external monitor. However whats the point of having a 165hz 1440p screen if your already weak rtx 3070 is cut by another %30?

Girlfriend wanted a new laptop for work and for gaming. This thing is nuts. Running AAA games on it like it's a tower PC. Dislike the ram setup since I can't really bump it up later. But it does have an easy port for another M.2 so that's a win.

Works great, super fast. Went to store to buy go omen pc and it was out of stock, store rep recommended this one, I can’t say it’s better, never got to try the hot, but I sure do like this one. Runs any game without a issue.

This is a gaming laptop but I needed the latest processor for what I use the laptop for which is work and editing audio. The screen size is perfect and the slight lift in the back for airflow is perfect so the laptop doesn't overheat. I am not an electronics expert, but I did a lot of research to come to the conclusion to go for the Ryzen 9 over the 16" Intel 9. Do you own research first. I have been using this every day for 2 months and have not had a single issue. I connect with an ASUS monitor for work and it syncs very well. The RGB lighting on the keyboard is completely controllable and the sleek design of the RGB reflectors on the outside make it look nice. Again do you own research, but I use this for work and do a ton of audio editing and it is lightning fast.

great laptop. i used this laptop to play COD and Warcraft- downside of this laptop is that the keyboard would get hot and the fan would blow really hot air on the each side of the laptop. So that can be annoying.

I do phone work from home due to the pandemic, and decided to upgrade my old ROG Strix - the keyboard feel of this laptop is fantastic, it's responsive, fingerprint reader works well (It is a little finicky based on how you initially set it up) and it handles the games I play well. I do want to mention for those with an HTC Vive for VR, the HDMI port only connects to the integrated graphics, so you will need a USBC to mini displayport adapter. Temps are perfectly reasonable as well, though I do still recommend a cooling pad. And I've never been uncomfortable with the heat, even as the keyboard does heat up slightly under heavy workload. Overall, a great laptop and fantastic value.

Great gaming machine. I pull at least 120-130 fps on cod multiplayer and 100-120 on warzone. Well done by asus. A few cons are not having a webcam, which is honestly no big deal given that I personally use it as a desktop. Also while the sound is excellent, while listening to youtube sometimes you can get some interference or staticky sounds. For the price of 1799, its a complete steal! AMD Ryzen 9 and RTX 3070. What else could you want.

Classy, elegant, powerful gaming laptop, the very best of its kind! I can play BF4 with max graphics at 120 to 130fps. BFV without raytracing at a similar high fps clip. Red dead redemption 2 with dlss at 60 to 70fps and ghost recon breakpoint scored 68 overall fps in benchmark with ease. Remember this a laptop gpu, I have a powerful desktop but when i’m on travel, work, etc this comes in handy. The laptop has the class and swag of a Macbook, with its sleek and slim aesthetics. It’s power adapter is super small and a sharp contrast to the craptacular alienware laptops with their huge power bricks. You certainly are getting what you pay for folks!

Soldered ram, no numpad these are the things that I don't like, beside that everything seems petty good.

picked this up a bit ago been a great laptop thus far. It runs nice and quiet in normal day to day use. the keyboard positioning is a little funky to get used to but feels good to type on.

Returned it because i didn't do enough research before buying it. It has no mux switch and a low wattage 3070. I exchanged it for an asus rog zephyrus m16 2022 with a higher wattage 3070ti and mux switch. Plus the screen on the m16 is way better.

After a couple months of use, I'm pretty satisfied. Good performance, but there is some backlight bleed near the top of the screen. It's not a big deal to me, but I would check over any purchased laptop for quality control issues.

Ridiculously fast, excellent for gaming and productivity. Only downside is that the fans can get kinda loud in turbo mode, and the top area of the keyboard can get hot during gaming. Besides that, everything about this computer is great.

I would not recommend this laptop.... Screen bezel sides are not secure, throttles on majority of games and the fact that it has 8gb soldered on board is horrible. After i asked asus support if this wasn't the case. Fingerprint reader works when it wants to and wifi cuts out when it likes. This thing has a mind of its own ....no thank you i am returning this
