Fan is TOO loud!!! and it gets TOO HOT!!!!

Amazing device, amazing speakers, amazing screen, I'd be very happy with this thing, if I'd maybe gotten it new or it worked fully how it was supposed to. I bought an open-box excellent certified, thinking "It's in excellent condition AND has been thoroughly reviewed by geeksquad, the chances there's a problem with this are very low". But I almost feel like they did this on PURPOSE... the keyboard works when you press hard on the keys but several keys only work if you press on the hard enough (feeling the "click" of the press isn't good enough), and the space bar only works if you press it near the dead center, which is problematic when I play games with my thumb near the far left side of the space bar (on top of that, the center of the space bar gets fairly hot when playing intensive games). The wifi card is another thing they must've thought they could get away with selling back, it "works", but will randomly dip connection, making it very hard to notice. When you're streaming online games, both the keyboard and wifi problem quickly become VERY noticeable though, and not something I'd expect from a laptop I payed $1,700 for.

At the time of using it the first week I had a problem with the fans and heating the temperature of the Myasus app marked 112G' and the fans were at 6400mph. From there I managed to fix it by resetting it and it was fixed, I have no longer had the problem and it seems to me a very good potential laptop and on its screen.

Yes all the specs are great in this machine. Runs smooth every game I threw at it ran like Butter. I got a great deal on this machine. Unfortunately I had to return it. There was screen bleed. To the point I said to myself is this 2022 or is it 2001? I really wanted to love this laptop. Too bad it went back.

This laptop offers great performance. However, it has a couple of QC issues that need to be fixed.

SUPER FAST! the thermals are surprisingly food for this much power. Runs cyberpunk on QHD 1440p resolution with Medium Raytracing at 50fps!!!! Dream come true, the AMD processor is way better than any intel laptop ive used so far!

This is a blazing fast laptop. I sent my kid off to college with this so they would be able to run 3D modeling software, which it has been doing a wonderful job at.

good computer only issue it has no webcam thats a deal breaker for me

Excellent gaming laptop within its price range. For a 1440p display, ryzen 5900 and 3070 along with Asus superb build quality and design. If you get it you will not be disappointed. Works more than well as a video editor as well

This has been an exceptional laptop. Great features, super fast, great for gaming and anything else you need it for. I only wish it would have a couple extra USB ports and a optical disk drive.

It an excellent laptop for gaming! The RTX3070 is a beast in this small form factor! No stutter or lag while playing heavy games! Strongly recommend this product

I am writing this so that more people are aware of an issue found in this new batch of Zeph 15's. The laptop overall is good, but when you pay $1900+ (thats including tax) for this laptop, you expect it NOT to have a SPEAKER DEFECT. There is this very loud and jarring popping sound when the speaker is in action ESPECIALLY on the "bass" sounds. Beware of this potential issue. I will try to get a replacement somehow and see if this issue is persistent.

The value is great! This PC is well reviewed, looks nice, and much lighter than what I'm used to. Best buy has not raised prices as much as others so get it when you can.

I purchased this item I very liked it but the right speaker has an unusual sound at the beginning of the Bass sounds, I had to change it and another one has the same problem too. can anyone check it, so find out all of them has the same problem or just mine was like that. other than that was perfect.

The laptop looks good and has great performance. However, the build quality is not very good.

By far the best laptop I have ever owned. Gaming is excellent for this tiny package. Connect some controllers and HDMI to your TV and you have a portable gaming rig to play with your friends.

Use it for work and play. Fast and quiet for work and regular use and can handle any game at maximum seconds I throw at it when it’s time. Setup was a breeze and the software is solid.

This thing is awesome, great battery life got over 6 hrs watching high def movies with power to spare. nice compact and light but a powerhouse. If you want portable gaming this is def the way to go

pros: * plays all the games very well * beautiful display cons: * overheats with lid closed unless running in "Silent" mode * keyboard dies if you update firmware using MyASUS * requires usb-c => display port ^1.2 or usb-c => hdmi ^2.0b adapter ( *** not included *** ) to to use g-sync with external gaming monitor summary: if you're going to use this as a stand-alone machine for gaming, then you'll probably love this laptop. if you're planning to hook this up to a gaming monitor or a TV, then you'll need to leave the lid open or you'll be too frustrated with this laptop overheating and automatically locking on you. CAUTION: if you follow the MyASUS recommended updates, the keyboard firmware updates will render your keyboard unresponsive.

It's a great pc, but lacks a webcam. You need to be aware of this.
