This was for my daughter as her Xmas gift. She was using my personal laptop for her gaming and complaining it was too slow. So I looked around and asked my IT friend if this was good. Glad I did because he bought the same one for his daughter. My daughter hasn’t complained to me yet.

Everything is fine except the coil whine issue, which was so disturbing that I had to wear my headphones all the time. This is due to quality control and I plan to do an exchange.

Just finished updating to windows 11 and this tiny thing screams in games. This almost performs as well as my rtx2070 super desktop. Highly recomended!

I had this laptop for just slightly over a year, when suddenly the motherboard decided to die. I talked to Asus and they gave me a low ball discount of 10% off the repair which totaled to $1400. I contacted the corporate office and was offered a 25% discount, for the price of the repair I decided to buy a different brand of laptop because of the poor customer service. Understandably I wasn't looking for a free repair but I was hoping they would do right seeing as the warranty had just run out. The laptop does run well it also runs very hot you can feel it on the keyboard when the laptop has been on for a while.

Screen has so many dead pixels and I've had nothing but screen problems since purchase including flicking and just not working in the 8 months I've had this laptop, ASUS website says under one year warranty the screen is covered for as many dead pixels as I have but buying through best buy you have to use them and ASUS won't even offer any support, they didn't cover anything. I did an update for the keyboard and it also completely stopped working had best buy do a repair and they sent it back with even more dead pixels. All around horrible experience made worse by best buy if you are going to buy this don't at least don't use best buy.

Absolutely love this pc it's more than just a gaming laptop it's everything... for the price i would recommend.

Bought this to up my VR game with Oculus Quest 2. It is really a pain to get to work with this device. Otherwise, a very solid gaming computer. That being said, if you want to up your VR performance, if you have something that works now, this laptop may not be an improvement. Needs a LOT of workarounds.

The graphics on this are stellar! Can also plug it in to my new LG gaming monitor (reviewed separately) for an even better experience!!

Bought two of these and had to return them both for 2 reasons. The washed out screens with terrible backlite bleed made viewing anything with black in it a really bad experience. Also because of the awful electrical coil whine noise on both units. Even the representative at the return center of Bestbuy said they have had many returns of the laptop because of this issue. It's tied to the keyboard backlighting, the more you turn down the backlighting the louder the electrical noise gets. Wanted to love these laptops, the performance was good, but Asus's corner cutting and poor QA made it a no go for us to keep them. I thought I was getting a good deal, but what it go was a cheaply made laptop.

Perfect for all my needs! If I want to code on the go, the battery life and excellent keyboard/trackpad make it a joy to use. If I want to game, the powerful internals and high resolution screen make me feel like I'm using a powerful desktop computer. The function keys are a bit questionable (airplane mode and a sleep button but no media control?) but for the price this checks all the boxes.

The laptop itself is quite nice and sleek and has been used quite a bit since day 1. Only problems I really have are that the keys are quite hot to the touch but at this point I have grown quite numb to it. In my opinion, if you are buying this, buy a USB hub if you plan on using a lot of usb A devices.

The specs speak for themselves and are integrated flawlessly. Because such a powerful GPU can use a lot of energy, this laptop has an integrated GPU that it relies on for lower graphics requirements which helps reduce power consumption. Form factor is great. Large screen on a reasonably portable laptop. I wish the contrast was greater, but the refresh rate was very snappy.

This is the best investment I’ve ever done for a gaming laptop. I’ve use a week, without any problem. Some benchmarks is remarkable. The display is beautiful.

Don't believe the uneducated negative reviews. Most people claiming they returned it, simply can't afford it or know nothing about technology. This is a 5 star laptop. Especially at this price point. Everything is high quality and works perfectly. Screen, Keyboard, GPU/CPU, build quality and sound. Stress tested the F out of it right out of the box. ZERO ISSUES. I use a cooling pad when gaming in ultra type settings because it's a laptop. It gets hot. Doesn't belong on your lap. Common sense. Runs Warzone and Cyberpunk flawlessly. Does everything I need it to, then some.
