I must be lucky by the sound of it, my unit hasn't had any unexpected issues. My only complaints would be - slight light bleeding. - a single dead pixel that is impossible to spot without looking for it. - being unable to reactivate bitlocker once disabling it. That last one is due to me dual booting my system. Turning off encryption is a one way process because Asus decided not to put Windows 10 pro on it.

Partner's laptop was on its last legs, was overheating, had WIFI issues and would shut down by itself at the worst possible time. Bought her this machine to make sure she had something fast and something with lots of memory. The SS drive gives it a fast bootup as well. Excellent machine, probably more so than she might have needed, but there's no such thing as too much, at least in my mind.

He has already been using them and has loved them so far. He said he wished he had of gotten them sooner instead of wasting so much money on other products. Only draw back was having to order them instead of being able to get them in the store. So we had to wait for them to come in and it actually took a few days longer to get here then was said on the website.

Amazingly powerful laptop. My one complaint is no webcam. I mean come on asus, this is 2021 the age of video conferences and other virtual events. Especially considering the more business like look.

great looking laptop and insane power for such a compact package, that 3070 is a perfect match up for the 165hz 1440p screen. only thing is this variant is a max q or only 100watt max gpu, so ur missing about 30 to 40% power to a max p 3070 which translates to about 30% of performance, this is expected since this is a very slim and compact design so i can see thermal being an issue should they go 140watts on the gpu.

I really wanted to like this laptop, but right out of the box it was having some major issues. The MyAsus app was freezing, and it would take several seconds to get to the desktop after I entered my PIN. These are fine problems with a run of the mill laptop, but a new g15?! It was frightening. Other performances were okay, but only productivity as I returned this before I really tested the gaming capabilities. However, one other issue I had was my four year old ASUS was having 3-4x faster download speeds on the same wifi! Best Buy told me this was a software issue, and even though I believed them the performance was so inconsistent I ended up buying the m16. All-in-all I think this was the best move. The m16 has had none of these issues, is just as fast even though its not a Ryzen (however it is i9), AND the screen, speakers, connectivity, and webcam are better (which it wins by default because for some reason the g15 doesn't have one). I used The g15 seemed so great, its a shame my unit was so faulty. The m16 is an awesome alternative though if you're in the market for one, and you're not bound the AMD processor.

Great laptop. It dose great a little hot if you are doing silent fan.

No camera, thought it would be easy to add an external but more hassle than I thought. Also, wish there was a physical Rt/lt button for mouse pad. Otherwise, runs good and was easy setup.

Great laptop runs all games at pretty good fps on all newer games at 1440p maybe a 15” screen but the quality is great color aspect ratio solid. Temps usually don’t climb over 80 Celsius but I bought a cooling pad that keeps it under 75 all in all with the ryzen 9 and the 3070 it’s plenty of power and is a great gaming laptop. Build quality is awesome.

Great laptop that is super fast with no compromises. I can game or do my college work easily.

Ive had this laptop for a week now and its been great. handles my games pretty good.

Works like a charm, very powerful, it could be improved by having 2 ram memory slots.

The computer is just as I expected, and I get better battery life than advertized.
