I'm on my 3rd different unit now. I've had to return them due to terrible light bleed/screen glow. The potential value of this product is off the charts but the quality control is atrocious. Currently debating if I want to try for a FOURTH unit, or ust move on to a different laptop all together.

All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, this is a random problem. Normally, ASUS provides one year warranty coverage, if product was purchased brand-new, in order to fix or repair any hardware or part that stop working prematurely under normal usage.

I bought this computer because I wanted fast, fast, fast. She's a rocket. She does everything I throw at it. I do a great deal of vpn connections and remote work. She never skips a beat. Worth every dime.

The battery life is alright but this laptop was built for gaming! Don't expect long battery life as the CPU and GPU are constantly eating up your electricity.

This thing is just crap for some reason. This thing would just freeze up and turn non-responsive. I first noticed it when I would run an Adobe program and be sharing my screen, sometimes it would just freeze up and not respond to any input, forcing a hard restart. It would do this multiple times in a week. After the semester ended, I noticed the same sort of 'bug' too. During gaming I would get this weird few seconds to a full minute of near-zero FPS.... It would do this very frequently making gaming literally impossible on anything too taxing. Which upon discovering that, it makes sense that when this happened when I was using a lot of resources, it would just freeze and have me force a restart... Even watching a simple YT video would have a moment where it would just spaz out for a second! I have NO idea what is causing this or how to fix it. I would not recommend this laptop.

Just make sure to buy a USB camera (my only complaint).

Good gaming laptop

Decided on this and was not disappointed. If I was to say one bad thing, is it doesn't come with a disk tray. Which, most laptops today seem to be getting rid of anyway so it wasn't too much of a surprise.

However after 1 week, the wifi and bluetooth were no longer able to be used. After letting it sit over night, they started working again but returned the laptop after reading reviews of other people having the same issue long term. The battery also lasted around 2 hours while playing, which IMO was not ideal.
