I REALLY WANTED TO LOVE THIS LAPTOP. I'm on my 3rd different unit now. I've had to return them due to terrible light bleed/screen glow. The potential value of this product is off the charts but the quality control is atrocious. Currently debating if I want to try for a FOURTH unit, or ust move on to a different laptop all together.

It has all of the specs of a great laptop but lacks VR support without work-arounds due to not having dispayport

I was very excited when I got this laptop until about two weeks in the wifi card stopped connected to my wifi and then after some research this laptop is known to have that problem. I spend over $2k on a laptop and it can’t even connect to the internet. Abysmal. Asus, so better yeah?

Very good for the price, it's a beast for a laptop. There is some bug and I hope they fix them soon. Also a lottery with the QA

Nice laptop. Gaming is what I do the most but I also love p0rn0s. This laptop does both same time. My productivity is way up. This laptop although pricey has paid for itself in pleasure. Thank you Asus.

I'm not a gamer. Not at all. I bought this computer because I wanted fast, fast, fast. She's a rocket. She does everything I throw at it. I do a great deal of vpn connections and remote work. She never skips a beat. Worth every dime.

The Asus Zephyrus has been the greatest laptop purchase I have ever made so far. The battery life is alright but this laptop was built for gaming! Don't expect long battery life as the CPU and GPU are constantly eating up your electricity.

Besides for the little screen and keyboard glitches here and there, it’s not a bad laptop.

It has been a while since I purchased a new laptop and with help from friends and reviewing the specs and what other people had to say about this laptop, I knew it was the one for me. I am thrilled with it so far and am happy that I purchased it.

I got this thing for school to run various Adobe programs, since Covid, a lot of virtual meetings as well. This thing is just crap for some reason. This thing would just freeze up and turn non-responsive. I first noticed it when I would run an Adobe program and be sharing my screen, sometimes it would just freeze up and not respond to any input, forcing a hard restart. It would do this multiple times in a week. After the semester ended, I noticed the same sort of 'bug' too. During gaming I would get this weird few seconds to a full minute of near-zero FPS.... It would do this very frequently making gaming literally impossible on anything too taxing. Which upon discovering that, it makes sense that when this happened when I was using a lot of resources, it would just freeze and have me force a restart... Even watching a simple YT video would have a moment where it would just spaz out for a second! I have NO idea what is causing this or how to fix it. I would not recommend this laptop.

Great laptop for the price. Gaming performance was underwhelming but this laptop is awesome for photo editing

Where do I even begin, this is the best no-compromises gaming laptop ever, you get exactly what you pay for and it's amazing. Just make sure to buy a USB camera (my only complaint).

So far the computer is doing everything I need it to do which is live-streaming church services on Facebook.

Great laptop, but had some graphics issues before the recent update. Aftet that it has been a workhorse.

Last gaming laptop broke so I needed a new one. Decided on this and was not disappointed. If I was to say one bad thing, is it doesn't come with a disk tray. Which, most laptops today seem to be getting rid of anyway so it wasn't too much of a surprise.

Great gaming laptop just gets pretty hot even doing simple browsing.

Good laptop, it has cpu boost on as default which may cause a temp issue, its a easy fix in the end

I can confirm that Ubuntu 21.10 works great here! There are a few problems when I close the computer, but it works. Windows also works I guess.

Wow. I've been on the lookout for an upgrade to my PC to be able to more effectively game. This laptop absolutely delivers. I am an avid gamer, and even though I typically play on console, I've wanted to broaden my horizons and get into the PC side of things more heavily. I needed a hardware upgrade and I wanted something I could take with me to game on the go when taking trips assuming COVID ever ends. This laptop provides everything I need and more. I will admit that I am primarily using this laptop docked to an external monitor and separate mouse, keyboard, and speaker system. I have spent a fairly limited amount of time away from the dock. In that time, I can say that the monitor is amazingly clear and keeps a great resolution and refresh rate for clear picture. The speakers leave a little bit to be desired but even when mobile I mostly would be using headphones anyway so the speakers should not really be a big part of the conversation for the average user. The power behind this machine is incredible for a laptop. Boot and load times barely exist. I've done some cross play with gamer friends on Xbox and it's on par with the brand new Xbox Series X if not a bit faster. It's blazing past the older model Xbox consoles. The AMD processor paired with the Nvidia GPU makes for one beast of a machine. I will say I had some minor issues with the drivers for the AMD integrated GPU. It was a minor inconvenience though as I simply had to disable the AMD internal graphics processor, download and install new drivers for it, then reenable it. Also, make sure the NVIDIA GPU is set to be your primary GPU. This laptop can also get quite loud as it works to stay cool. If you've ever owned a gaming laptop before, this is fairly normal. I have not had it come close to overheating yet however, even with several consecutive hours of gaming. If you're using headphones or an external speaker system you'll likely never notice. Overall, I am extremely happy with this laptop. It has met and exceeded my expectations and I look forward to using it for many years to come.
