Very meh. For the price you’d expect it to be better. The gpu is very underpowered at 80w which will handily be outperformed a full wattage lower tier card. The trackpad has this crunchy noise after it rests for a second and I’m not sure if it was quality control or what but it’s genuinely terrible to have to click with it. Overheated on a desk at default factory settings on day 1 and throttled to ~50fps in league. Blue screened on my 2nd day of using it. If this was a budget gaming laptop, I’d accept that, but this is almost $2k and is supposed to be the best all around gaming computer. I returned it and got a legion 7, so much better in build quality, performance, thermals, etc.

TLDR: If you get a good unit, this machine is amazing. Unfortunately, got two bad units and didn't feel like fishing for a good one. Tried out two of these machines to replace my battery-bloated 2019 Razer Blade 15. Was very hopeful seeing the high praise the g15's received from tech reviewers. The first one seemed almost perfect. Beautiful thin and light machine that ran games smoothly, had good battery life, and had little backlight bleed. Basically a straight upgrade to the Blade 15 with its better battery life (and speakers). However, this first g15 unit had a large gap in between the bezel and the screen towards the right side of the laptop. I probably would have just kept it but I was especially concerned given the design of the exhaust fans, which blow straight into the bezel below the screen which could lead to dust entering the gap. So I exchanged it for another unit, which unfortunately was once again only almost perfect. This time it was built well with no bezel gap and ran games smoothly with good battery life for productivity work. However, this second unit had some of the worst backlight bleed I have ever seen. I don't consider myself to be very picky when it comes to displays, but the bleed was so bad it was to the point where it was noticeable and visibly distracting in a fully lit room (at below half brightness too). I considered swapping for a third unit but decided playing the g15 lottery was just not for me. Unfortunately decided to return my second unit and give up on the g15 for now. However, if you do get a good unit then it is definitely a keeper. As of right now no other gaming laptop can provide the same mix of portability and battery life that the g15 does (except the g14 I guess). The Razer Blade 14 and Legion Slim 7 come close but can't match the battery life of the g15. The MSI delta, Mech 15, Max 15 seem interesting but can't charge via usb-c, always needing the giant power bricks.

Overall a great laptop that unfortunately is a bit hampered by ASUS's bad QA process. My personal unit had wicked coil whine and a sticky space bar. If ASUS could solve their issues with QA I'd definitely consider re-purchasing it.

Decent gaming laptop, though not the most powerful or lightest, finds a good balance.

I'm not a giant tech geek. This laptop does everything that i need it to do. I only use it for work applications. So, i can't tell u much about its gaming. If i had 1 criticism, i dont think it has the greatest battery life. I get by but if u really need a laptop with a great battery I would stay away from this one.

It seemed to be a good laptop, but I believe the price is just a bit outrageous. I downloaded a game for instance that I found out was not compatible with windows 11. I tried to delete the file and it kept saying no responding. I definitely feel that Windows computer need to be a little more easier to use.

I have nothing but positive things to say about ASUS products and customer support. That being said, this laptop does not have a thunderbolt port which I really wanted, but still giving this thing 5 stars.

Definitely one of the best bang for the buck laptops out there. It has a beautiful display, long battery life, fast GPU and CPU, and it all comes in a light, easy to carry package.

The laptop was nice but lacks some of the features that others have. Overall it’s good.

Would be fine if the software actually worked. After 3 months, networking stopped working, along with half of the software on the computer. After many failed attempts, I ended up having to re-install windows, which got networking back, but most software was still not working. I was forced to manually install the updated version of the microsoft store, which was really difficult to find since microsoft doesn't provide the software via an exe. After the store was finally working again I had to manually re-install all of the broken apps. After all this, Armoury Crate will not work, so I can't control the settings on the laptop. I also can't install GPU drivers, only errors through GeForce Experience. If I could return it I would, but what'd'ya'know I'm passed the return window.

Good laptop, returned it because can’t really upgrade memory.

I have a few gripes with this laptop. First being the screen. Although it’s a 165hz screen, the brightness level isn’t very much. Second, the sound quality of the speakers. At high volume you do hear the crackling or popping noise. And third is the soldered ram, which limits the upgradability in the future. That being said I returned the laptop.

perfect for high level gaming for a really good price. thin, cool and has unique touch feeling. unfortunately no matrix led on top which is only bad thing i can say about it.

Although I read reviews online about the QC on this product. Mine turned out to be perfectly fine, the only downside was that the wifi card was downgraded, but I plan on installing a better one for less than 20 bucks.

This is an incredible laptop. I havent really had a PC or laptop for a good 3 years, so having a top of the line gaming laptop is a blast. Its very modular, and messing around with the settings is really fun and satisfying.

cooling is abysmal, if you can keep it cool its better than most deskops

It's been a month and absolutely love this thing. I bought it for mechanical engineering and Solidworks runs so well on this thing compared to the crap I had before this. Definitely the best laptop right now for the money
