Randomly goes to sleep during game play

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned my computer because it had an aggravating problem when your playing a game and then it randomly goes to sleep with the game still running. Then you have to push the power button and login again. I updated all drivers and software and turned sleep off completely, but the problem was exactly the same.

I went ahead and installed everything needed and updated windows and the bios. My wife noticed the laptops top screen pixels were flicking. I restarted everything and resetted the laptop to which had the same issue. I ran a few games on it like CSgo and valorant to which made the screen worse. The laptops hinge was also creaking as i lift it up. So the today i took it to best buy and the employees tried to persuade me to exchanging it to another brand laptop because this was out of stock. I asked them if i ordered another one would i still have my return policy available. They said probably not and that i would be stuck with it basically. I returned it and got my money back then and there. Its crazy how a 2k gaming laptop you spend crazy money on and that they cant give another exchange garentee if it has issues. What a let down. Asus really has a non-existent quality control. I had bought a g14 2020 before and i had quality control problems as well.

The screen had bad bleeding and I didn’t care for the keyboard. The design did not make sense to me because of the vent facing the screen bezel. The laptop got extremely hot while gaming and the bezel and top of the keyboard almost burned to touch. I didn’t see the laptop lasting a long time with this kind of heat.
