    I was really looking forward to enjoying this laptop but I ended up having to take it back the same day I got it took it home and started it up to set it up and was greeted with dead pixels and lines on the screen I wish asus had better quality control. Took it back to the store I really wish I could have at least got another one to try but they forgot to ask me in the store if I wanted to exchange it and instead returned it… so I’m stuck with out a laptop till I get my money back…. Overall the product and the process wasn’t great.

    Laptop had a dead pixel within first week. Best Buy wouldn’t do anything about it bc it was a single pixel. Laptop has the cheapest Wi-Fi card they can get. It randomly disconnects/wont show up at all. Which also affects the Bluetooth. Bluetooth will be horribly spotty with 2 devices connected(mouse and laptop). And of course Bluetooth is one of your only options due to this having 2 USB ports. The 2 USB ports can’t be used at the same time and will show that there isn’t enough resources to run both at the same time. This thing is worthless. And for 1800 dollars? It’s pathetic. If I could refund this I would in a heartbeat. Never buying an asus again. They keep pointing the finger at bestbuy bc it’s within bestbuys 1 year warranty but bestbuy won’t take responsibility either.

    This computer is crap

    Stay away from this model. This is the worst computer I've ever owned. The first unit they shipped me didn't work. The power came on but nothing else happened. I returned that one and the second one they sent has a bad keyboard. The space key only works about 30% of the time, and other keys randomly double-type. The touchpad also doesn't respond about 20% of the time. I would have returned this unit also, but I can't be without a computer, so I just muddle through as best I can. I've tried to get support from the Asus website, but when I try to log in (a prerequisite to chat with support), it just sits there and does nothing. I used to like Asus products, but I'll never buy another one.

    Bought two of them expecting a great performance product, but both of them came with a lot of issues. I had to take them back to repair and since i do not live in the US pay a lot more money for them to forget to do the last step in reparing them leaving me with encrypted kinda refurbished computers for the price of two new ones, They had to replace the motherboards and other important hardware. I should be getting them replaced not what they call "repaired". I honestly expected more of Best Buy. Worst service, won't be buying here any time soon.

    Do not buy it! 6 months after my purchase there appeared a problem with my laptop. The screen would never turn on, and it seems a issue with the laptop's graphic card. I contacted the producer, ASUS, for reparation, but was informed that they DO NOT REPAIR any items SOLD BY BESTBUY, so I have to contact bestbuy to repair it. And bestbuy told me that it's past 3 months since I bought this laptop, so I have to PAY EXTRA for geeksquad in order to repair this, which comes at an additional $150! Definitely do not recommend buying this machine. Its quality is problematic, and it's a mess when you need to repair it.

    As soon as I set-up the laptop, I was prompted to update windows, however, I haven’t had success even after troubleshooting with Microsoft. It seems to be an issue with the factory settings.

    Nice system with HUGE heat problems

    I just go this and will update as I get to know it: Pros: It's a really small package.... Very easy to set up Runs everything that I have used with ease Cons: It's hotter than any Laptop I've ever owned. I am really nervous that if I don't take really big steps to keep this thing cool it's going to overheat and get damaged. I was playing a relatively low demand game and it got so hot that it was painful to the touch on TOP of the keyboard. This is a HUGE issue and I hope ASUS have some plans to update things because right now this thing feels like a time bomb. I don't recommend buying this system at this point until and unless ASUS does something at the firmware/settings level to improve the heat management because this is ridiculous.

    I just used for 2 days after all the updates and stuff suddendly it stop charging but I didn't realize until it had 20% of battery because I was playing a videogame to start testing it and it was plugged to the charger, I Try uninstall battery drivers, re-update de BIOS, Return the BIOS as default, checked the charger but as I don't have any other ASUS laptop I'm not pretty sure If it is the charger or the battery computer port bad anyways I JUST USED FOR 2 DAYS the quality should'nt be that bad for such a costly laptop, I'll return it for sure

    Zephyrus G15 Automatic Repair Loop

    I had this laptop for less than 2 months before I decided to return it. It was good for the first one week but it kept crashing and going into a Automatic Repair Loop in addition to the fingerprint scanner not working anymore. Even after getting it fixed the first, time it would restart on its own. After being forced into another repair loop (after I checked Windows Update and Restarted) it was stuck. I couldn’t even access any of the System Restore points I created to get it back when it was working. Perhaps it was due to human errors during manufacturing, but this laptop was annoying. Hope the new 2022 model of the Zephyrus G15 will be better.

    This was my third one. Finally in great condition. In my opinion definitely order pick up to store. It’s safer that way and have the employees open it first for proof if it’s in good condition instead of shipping. Ups will treat it like garbage.

    Bought 2 of them what a mistake

    This is one of two units I purchased I have used Asus g70 series laptops for a long time thought these would be a nice upgrade by far the biggest trash Asus has put out they are slow over heat and have issues both have began crashing in less than a year and one won’t even power on anymore I am out of the one year warranty by a month on one and the other I have time still but it will be my last purchase of the zephyrus line if not Asus all Together. Especially after the dead laptop I now have to pay to repair if not replace both purchased at Best Buy last year

    I wish this was true--AVOID. I has exchanged my G14 2020 for this and G14 2021..boy I was wrong. Like many of us, I went with the hype (with skepticism) but wanted to give it shot. Tried lots of tweaking, resets, reboots etc. Sometimes everything works fines but most of the time it does not. Speakers sound terrible, thermals are way past tolerable. Screen colors are washed up. Maybe its my unit but after seeing lots of reviews showing up everyday, I realized that this is a LEMON. I ended up buying the G14 2021 and DON'T REGRET. This is a "beta tested" device. Lots of hassles even at discounted price. Get something else or WAIT for "big boys" to launch their laptops.

      By keeping Windows and device drivers, optimum system stability and performance will be maintained. If these steps were already performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. If this is not pre-installed on the laptop, please download the application at the Microsoft Store. For details on how to use "My ASUS", please go to: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1041686/. Also, while accessing web applications, please make sure the unit has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system speed and performance.



      It is normal for the fan to spin at full-throttle and the laptop will generate more heat than normal while under heavy load especially during gaming, WINDOWS Update and antivirus scan. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full-throttle. Please ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions in order to have an efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. While gaming, please ensure no system resource hungry applications are running in the background, this will definitely speak the temperature. The heat or temperature does decreases or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down.

    I want to like it, but there's so many compromises

    No Print Screen key, the QHD screen is too dim, the underpowered 3070 is not strong enough to run toaster games at 60 fps 1440p, the microphone quality is terrible, and the build is sincerely nothing to write home about. The Armoury Crate software is also extremely clunky. The messy ASUS audio drivers don't even work seamlessly with my external microphone. For 1500+ dollars, this should be so so much better.

    Geek Squad failure

    Did not charge or keep a charge straight our of the box. geek Squad said the power source was bad and tried to order a new one. After 3 weeks they realized they used the wrong serial number. Ordered it again and then told me they could not get it and advised me to buy one myself and then they would reimburse me. Not the service I expect. Also called ASUS directly and they said they would charge me $40 to ship my supposedly bad power supply back to them so they could determine if it was deflective. What a mess.
