One of the best laptops I have ever used. I use it for work and casual gaming, and it never disappointed.

This thing seriously kicks! Excellent value! Great performance. Great battery life (armoury crate to change performance profiles very handy). Keyboard feels excellent and thankfully touchpad is glass and solid feeling, clicking.

Owned for almost 4 years and still love this thing. It can get hot, and wish it had more ram, but I've been able to play most any game on it.

I initially wanted to get a machine for working when away from my home office where I can use my desktop PC, but now my wife mostly uses this for her gaming needs as well. It has held up well and performs as expected with a 3070. I'm not used to elevated thermals that most laptops carry over a full tower PC, but even those were mitagated with a cheap cooling pad for heavy gaming sessions.

Really good laptop. Runs the majority of current big titles just fine. Battery life is not the best when unplugged, but the performance outweighs the battery life. Laptop runs quiet as well even under load.

Unbelievable, it does not have a webcam. Performance is very good in benchmarks. I upgraded it to 40GB so memory performance is not optimal because it does not use dual channel. Acess to bios is very limited, "advanced" is very basic. Other than that, great machine! NVIDIA 3070 rocks, even the mobile version!

If your not a medis person this laptop is better than the mac book pro. This is the best laptop ive ever owned and ive owned two macs. The fans in silent mode are unbelievably quiet. The battery life is 7 to 11 hours. The laptop can run hpc code in silent mode and still petform calculations incredibly fast. Theres still an option to go to balance and performance but if you telework high speed silence is nice. The laptop is oncredibly light and the sound system is amazing. I was watching soccer and i thought the police were outdide. No, the sirens were from the game.

So far, so good. I've had this laptop for about four days so far. Out of the box, it's worked well. The form factor of the laptop is sleek - compact but not too small. I previously had a ROG Strix which I just felt too large for travel (which I do a lot of). First order of business though was adding another M.2 hard drive for all of my games (I like to keep them off the boot drive). The back in very simple to remove and the slot already has a screw in it to install the hard drive. I do also plan on upgrading the memory from 16 to 40gb, but that's just my preference. It works perfectly well on the 16gb. Games and associated FPS (Settings on high unless otherwise stated) - World of Warcraft - (115-168 FPS in dungeons, 60-90+ FPS in populated cities) - The Outer Worlds (80-110 FPS) - Skyrim/Fallout 4 (90-120 FPS) - Genshin Impact (120+ FPS) - Civilization VI (120+ FPS) - Borderlands 3 (90+ FPS) I really am pleased with this machine. I really thought the fan placement by the screen would be of concern, but its really not. The laptop gets warm after some time, as most do - but nothing that prevents me from continuing to play; even after 6-8 hour sessions at a time. This display is beautiful. Super sharp, clear and very high defined. One of the best I've used. One CON I will give it, is that the i9 version has a really nice rubberized palm rest, and this is more of a soft plastic feel.

After receiving the new laptop was surprised that it sounded like a jet taking off. Even after being turned off for hours, as soon as powered on the fans would start at full and not stop. Did Windows updates and searched for reasons online with nothing making sense. Thought I got a lemon so exchanged and what do you know fans went into overdrive again. Thought this can't be real so dug around more and found in the myAsus application where more updates can be performed. First update performed was to BIOS and fans have acted normally since and the laptop works wonderfully. Gave it a 4 because two laptops with bad BIOS seems like it shouldn't happen. So if fans won't shut off, look at the myAsus application and apply all the updates available.

Good stable laptop. Been using it for years now. Has a few quirks.

Excelent Gaming laptop, great to travel and work, especially if you want something easy to carry and still want that power to work or gaming in anything.

This is a great product for the price i love it. Im in the marine corps and i use it eveyday, very reliable.

This laptop is definitely powerful but the laptop gets way too uncomfortably hot.

I'm amazed by this laptop! I mainly use it for video editing, I don't have any games on there yet but I'm sure eventually I will try to download a few. I could not be happier with the download speeds, it blows anything else I have ever used out of the water with processing!

Only two things to nit-pick at: (1) It gets LOUD when running a game too long, (2) The screen is a little dimmer than I'm used to. Some people might not like that there is no integrated webcam, but I already had a detachable one that I prefer to use so that wasn't an issue for me.

I don't know if I just got unlucky, but this thing was a piece of garbage. It worked great for gaming, but it had so many issues that I don't trust Asus ROGs anymore. When I first used it, it got so hot I thought something must be wrong with it. I literally had burns on my fingers sometimes. ASUS customer support assured me it's fine though. Other than that, it was working great. But then after about a year of using it, the fans started making a really loud grinding sound. So it had to be repaired. Luckily it was still under warranty. Then two days ago, so 2 years after buying it, it just shut off and wouldn't turn back on. I thought maybe the charger died. But maybe the insides of the laptop finally melted. So I took it in to get looked at, and sure enough it's the laptop. I didn't even want to get it repaired, so I bought something different so I don't have to deal with it anymore.

not worth 1800 good CPU Great, Baby 3070 my 2070 super outperforms and the build feels cheap. for 1800 windows pro soldered ram sucks no thunderbolt no camera. my keyboard RGB it does change colors all zones 1 color ata time. flicker stutter when in hibernate? over hyped a 3070 max p windows pro 32 gb ram MAYBE 1800 the finger print reader sucks to?
