Pros: Display is great with 2560X1440P Resolution AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS is a beast at this price 16GB DDR5 RAM is a sweet spot SSD is super fast. Battery life is excellent being a gaming laptop. Cons: Gets hot while gaming which is common for gaming laptops Turbo mode makes games to lag. But, manual mode, balanced mode or silent mode runs fine. Keyboard area gets a little warm while gaming.

The preinstalled Asus software & firmware are super buggy, and the laptop is barely useable out of the box. However, after spending an hour or two updating everything it is working as expected and the performance is fantastic. The screen and keyboard are great as well. Would definitely recommend, especially if you can get it on sale.

Good gameplay , not so good cooling

I played overwatch 2 on it , fps was good , image quality of the game was good. However the computer got extremely hot. Way too hot. I put my hands on the top where the screen and functions keys are , and you actually feel burn in your hands. Had to return it.

We are sorry to hear about the overheating issues you are having with this model. There's a possibility that there are background apps and Windows updates causing the unit to perform as it does. What we've observed with the Windows 10 operating system is that once the unit is not being used all background and installed apps including Windows updates will fire up and check for and install updates. This will cause the unit to run a bit hotter than normal and in turn ramp up the fan speed. We would recommend that the user check for and install all updates for all installed applications. Also check for Windows updates and make sure they're installed. multiple restarts are recommended to ensure all updates are installed. Don't waste money on this laptop

Issue1: The issue comes after one year of usage. First, it will restart every 5-10min. I thought it was a system issue. It's been fixed after I adjusted the sleep time of Windows 11. Issue2: It can't recognize my 2t kc3000 SSD. I thought the SSD died but it runs fine on my sdd m2 enclosure. There's some severe PCB design issues that this laptop can't regonize my 2tssd. Issue3: The fan they use is garbage. It will vibrate and make a huge noise. It's even louder than the enhanced fan noise!! I even changed the fan twice because the second new fan had the same issue. Then, I bought a 3rd fan from another brand to fix it. Issue 4: The most severe issue!!!! The most disguising issue is that it showed the first issue again but worse. The laptop starts to show a blue screen and restarts about 1-15mins. I even rebuild the whole system twice. Now, things are better but the problem still exists: it will restart about 30min-1hour each time. Originally, I thought it was the Windows 11 issue. But the problem still exists after 2 times of rebuilding the system. There's just something wrong with the motherboard PCB design!!! I'm so annoyed about this.
