I bought this laptop just under 2 years ago and purchased the total tech protection for many electronics from best buy. I drove 3 hours to have my fans replaced from the geek squad and to have my screen repaired for the multiple pixel outages. I was told by the staff there is nothing that they can do to fix my issues. To add since I bought a higher quality laptop (Gaming) tech support does not repair gaming laptops. This is not mentioned when purchasing multiple thousands of dollars of electronics from Best Buy. I am a computer guy for over 25 years. This is unacceptable as a protection plan to be stated that the Geek Squad will fix your issues when they can't even do basic component replacement that take 5 minutes to do. If a fan goes out in your laptop. This is now a critical issue due to the amount of heat generated. Now you may need to replace the entire laptop for a basic component replacement. I use my laptop everyday for work. I can not give it to support (which ships it out to a service center) for 2 to 3 weeks for a diagnostics that should only take 30 minutes to an hour to complete. Unsatisfactory support that is not worth your time nor money. Don't drive 3 hours like me to an appointment, that nothing will be fixed. This is the first time I have bought the total protection ($200 annually) plan for thousands of dollars spent in Best Buy.

Computer does what is ecpected. With certain games like the newest NFS. Computer gets warm. Its enough of a concern that one must use the gaming feature to force the fan speed. The bezel area below the LCD nearest to the keyboard seems to have warped. Its wavy and one must press it into place. Seems like this model was not tested well. This was purchased on special for $1199. It was $1315 with taxes and recycle fee. It was a good deal. However this exact model is now $1399. It is no longer worth the price.

I got this laptop for college and after a few weeks of use, I have almost no problems with it. I'm a big fan of the sleek design and portability despite it being on the larger side. The keyboard is solid -- the clicking sounds, colors, customizability are all great. The battery life isn't too long but I don't mind plugging it in sometimes. I have yet to run programs on it but I don't doubt it'll be able to handle them considering the specs. The only downside I saw was the camera which isn't too big of a deal but I have to say, after using the one on macbook, the quality pales in comparison. But still, I'm glad it has one and I know it'll get the job done so no points off.

Great but slow kind good as CC a laptop but not so good plugged in to a 4k tv keep looking unles 8 gb vram is going to suit your needs I doubt it though

Bought this open box and it was perfect not a mark on it.

Was a very good laptop but ran extremely hot. Came home from work one day and would not turn on at all? Sent in for repair, took about 8-10 weeks, which the motherboard was replaced. Then when playing any game, within 5 min of being online, computer would shut off and I would need to reboot twice before it was actually turn on. Sent in again for repair, and motherboard was replaced again? Then when playing or typing anything, it would go to login screen? Just typing on any key you would get a weird sound and then nothing? Sadly, after 9 months of owning, returned it for store credit!

Fantastic laptop but there is an issue. Trackpad is not working. Hoping to get it fixed by an update. But I don’t know if the issue is with hardware or software. Can best buy or retailer help in this regard????

For my first gaming laptop it is a good product. I like the upgradeable parts such as ram and hard drives. All the software that came with it worked well. An all around good laptop at a ok price.
