I recently purchased the ASUD laptop and I'm thoroughly impressed! The sleek design and lightweight build make it easy to carry around, while the powerful processor and ample storage handle demanding tasks with ease. The battery life is impressive, lasting well over a full workday. The display is crisp and vibrant, making it perfect for watching movies or editing photos. I've also been loving the backlit keyboard, which makes typing in low-light environments a breeze. Overall, I'd highly recommend the ASUS laptop to anyone looking for a reliable and high-performance device. 5 stars!

Good build quality and perfomance. Didn’t have any issues playing open world games such as ff15 with some minor setting changes. Installation of M.2 SSD was easy. Battery life is okay as expected. In the future I might get a 1080p model instead. Anything higher on a laptop seems unnecessary for me and hampers performance. Yet new buyers be wary, recent changes at ASUS may make for a less than ideal experience.

I walked in, they knew exactly what to give me, told me about the protection plan, and that was all. The laptop itself is amazing. Super fast, display is out of this world at 2k, 165hz, and amazing colors/brightness. Performance is great — haven’t had any issues in the first 2 weeks. Runs a little hot and battery life drains quick bc of the high res screen, but for a laptop that weighs that little and is that thin, the battery life of ~5h of productivity on full charge with high brightness is perfectly fine with me.

I bought this as an Open Box Excellent Product for around 750 at the time after tax. Till this day this is one of the better windows laptops I have tried. Pros: Its genuinely a good laptop and if you're not too hard on it while traveling or off the plug it can do almost everything flawlessly. Battery life is better than a lot of other windows laptops I have tried till I settled for this. I get around 2 to 3 hours of crazy amounts of google chrome tabs with background applications and VPN on. Speakers and Webcam are quite good. Cons: Compared to thicker laptops / Gaming Laptops this laptop underperforms on battery and plugged in. Especially when on battery, this laptop struggles to keep consistent frame rates in forza on low settings 1440p. While plugged in with going through the hassle of switching power modes, it can perform quite well but still not up to par with comparable spec laptops that are thicker on battery power. Gets quite loud with Turbo and performance mode inside ASUS software. Conclusion: Overall its a great laptop but GPU performance on battery is very underwhelming. Does basics very well. Power saver is a must have on every windows laptop on battery and this does great with it. Buy if you get a good deal on it otherwise go for newer models or other laptops with large batteries and large chassis.

I always stand by ASUS for all of my tech products, and this is a fine example of why you should too. For a laptop thats capable of 165hz at QHD, the price is hard to beat. Jam packed with a Ryzen 9 6000 series, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 and 16 GB of ram, this laptop is an absolute beast of a computer, no matter what application your running. It also comes with Windows Facial Recognition Login which is definitely a nice touch. Cooling is much better than expected, including a “turbo mode” which makes the computer fan comparable to a Boeing 737 turbine. At the end of the day, its a perfect school/work/personal/anything you want to use it for laptop. I will not have to invest into another laptop for many years to come.

Built quality is more than expected. Display lid looks flimsy. Got it for 1399. Battery could have been better. I get around 5 hours, in silent mode. Can definitely used like a day to day laptop, lightweight. Fan in turbo mode can be loud but it's the price for the performance you get from this machine. Had few issues initially after driver and software updates everything is good. If you can get it below 1500, worth every penny.

I bought this computer for my daughter. She is going into computer science and is also into gaming. So far she loves it. It is a very nice machine. It’s fast and the graphics are great. I kind of wish it had a 1Tb ssd instead of the 500Gb. But that has not been a problem so far. And I read that it has a second hard drive slot if needed. So it’s easily upgradable. Overall I am happy with this computer and my daughter is very happy with it. You won’t be disappointed with this computer.

Laptop is great! It does what it needs and pretty fast compared with my old machine. I hate the fan design since it blows directly at the screen so my concerns always if it ever will melt when the lid close … also the fan sounds pretty loud during gaming. Not like I never expected that either way. Other than that, it runs smoothly all programs as needed with no issues as long as you have reliable network.

wouldn't expect to be actively disappointed by a laptop 2x the $ I normally would pay for one, but here I am. should've wrote this sooner but there's still hope to dissuade anyone else from the mistake I'm still paying off for one reason or another, many of these laptops run EXTREMELY hot. I've read this is a combination of companies just accepting this as it is "safe" for the hardware and also a lack of quality control on applying thermal paste properly. I use an external mouse and my hand gets hot from the air blowing out the side of the machine. Surely I'm doing some high level gaming / 3d rendering, but no. a freaking youtube video will do that. there are sound issues where you can hear a crackling that really takes you out of whatever you're listening to - I got this in hopes of having a good machine to DJ with, I will never bring it anywhere near a party with how it works now. ASUS is aware of this but still thinks it's okay to continue to sell this battery life? I wish I were joking but this thing can MAYBE last 45 minutes off power. would honestly go for a laptop from 10 years ago over this thing. it's just a desktop that hurts you screen is really nice looking though

I'm overall very pleased with my purchase, but there are a few underlying details that I feel should be pointed out. Such as the area around the vents gets incredibly hot, and can cause some discomfort depending on where you put your fingers. I've also noticed that sometimes even though I'll have one (or 2) of the keys pressed down, it fails to register as an input, likely because I'm not pressing hard enough as I don't want to wear out the keyboard by pressing harder than necessary.

Great Laptop… Until you have to Contact Support

I have now had this laptop for over a year and I’m regretting my choice of brand for this laptop. I have from the beginning had manufacturing/company-based issues from the get go. Positives- The laptop runs wonderfully most of the time. It breezes loudly but smoothly through games like Elden Ring and Fortnite. It also has a nice customizable touch. Graphics are great for this affordable price. Negatives- When it does have issues, they are never minor issues and ASUS customer support will make it as difficult as possible to get it fixed. I have had 2 of this laptop. I bought my first version of this laptop in April/May of 2023. It would black out and not want to stay on if it wasn’t connected to power. I went to best buy and replaced it a week after my initial purchase. Best buy made it easy to return and get a replacement! My 2nd computer was sparkling for about 6 months, and then it began to have issues. It would randomly black out the screen, but that fixed itself after a month or so. Then comes the issues that make me regret buying this laptop. Myasus (the predownloaded program that comes with the laptop that requests you to update drivers, bios, etc. that is provided from ASUS) recommended that I update my BIOS and the Type-C port at the same time in December of 2023. I follow the instructions, as it’s a program from Asus for Asus laptop. The type-c update software fails and my type-c ports are officially out of use. The bios update also does not work. I contact customer support, they suggest that I factory reset, both of the updates still fail. They tell me that I will be okay and to just wait out for the next update and hopefully it fixes everything. I do just that. Then comes May 2024, my BIOS is updated far enough to where the issues I had before should still be fixed. I attempt, the software updated still fails, and my type-c port continue to not work. I contact ASUS support once again stating my issue, go through the same factory reset and such, and for my type-c port to STILL not work. Unfortunately, my best buy warranty was finished a week after they suggest for me to go to my store is finished. It’s expected that I would pay almost the same price as just buying a new one to fix my current computer! I go back to customer support YET AGAIN and claim that I need to pay their prices to get it fixed. I yet again repeat that this issue was caused because of them and was brought to “higher support.” It is now July 2024, and I’ve had to submit logs, screen shots, videos, with no solutions on their “higher support” part of solutions besides the reset, continuous updating, and I pay to get a problem that ASUS caused. All I want is a refund, a new computer, or fixing it for a reduced price. The customer service when it comes to ASUS (ESPECIALLY outside of warranty) is simply a joke. There is no reason why I have had a persisting issue caused from their own updating program for 7 months, and the company is taking my requests like I have not had this issue for months now. I wish I could have a higher rating for such a great laptop… but the company simply ruins this otherwise.

This ROG laptop in specific is a great quality for its price. It has custom applications to automatically over-clock your GPU and CPU to increase your performance. Now the con is the storage, and ram, you basically get nothing. 512GB SSD, 6GB DDR5, but for the price its worth it. My summary is, this ROG in specific would be a budget gaming or editing laptop. With not great, but decent overall performance.

The performance is off the charts, I've never experienced such seamless multitasking and speed. And can we talk about that sleek design? It's like the epitome of sophistication. Working on it feels like a luxury experience, and it's not just about looks, the functionality is top-notch too. Overall, a great laptop that's not just a tool but also a style statement. Great heat dissipation, capable audio, and solid performance. Unfortunately, there's a massive risk for liquid damage, and the light board has limited color options which you need to turn back after powering down. However, the fact that they leave room for small upgrades is very neat (SSD and one more memory stick I think).

I got this for gaming online and it runs great! It does have very loud fans. Like an airplane taking off. But if you plan on getting a laptop cooling pad, it mitigates the noise level. If you just want to use this for browsing the internet, you can change the settings to "quiet mode" to keep the fan low but this laptop generates a lot of heat. I think it's a good deal when it's on sale. Also, the built in camera sucks.

Overall: excellent laptop for gaming, schoolwork, and anything else. Pros: AMD Ryzen 9, RTX 3060, and DDR5 RAM Cons: short battery life buts that’s to be expected because of how power hungry the CPU and GPU are. Recently, I’ve been playing Assasins Creed Origins at 1440p and I get incositent frames anywhere from 60-80. I would recommed this laptop to anyone that needs a powerful laptop capable of gaming, content creation, and video editing.
