I like how compact and light this laptop is. I've been able to play GTA5 and The Sims 2 without any crashes. I'm able to use photoshop, OBS, Microsoft Word and play YouTube videos at the same time, so it's pretty powerful. I especially also like the illumination in the keyboard. The one thing I would have liked is a number pad, but I don't necessarily think it would fit in this compact laptop anyway. This is definitely something you might want if you commute or travel and still want to game! It is perfect!

It was worth the price. It runs really well, its a gaming laptop so ofc its battery is going to degrade but so far its been very good to me for work and gaming!!

A very worthwhile purchase, and a great gaming performance from this machine. Strongly recommended, although be sure to adjust the fans in the Armoury Crate software, as sometimes it can run a little hotter than expected.

I primarily use this laptop for some light gaming. I enjoy Minecraft, ffxiv, and assasscians creed. It runs all these games on max graphics without issue. My main complaint about it is that it absolutely adores getting fingerprints and smudges all over it. It's tedious to wipe down, but I hate the shiny appearance my clean hands can leave on the keyboard. I keep mine plugged in with a fan underneath. This thing can get pretty hot without a fan, so I recommend one to keep up with the longevity of your computer.

Its been a little bit more than 2 years since i bouth this laptop and its been great, since its a top computer with a good performance i for sure love ASUS and its ever been a pleasure to buy ASUS products, 700 % recommended to buy.

I have been wanting a gaming laptop for quite a while. I purchased this one on sale and I am very happy with my purchase. It is lightning fast and can play any AAA game at 1440 or 1080 at Medium to High settings.

I bought this for my son, he wanted a gaming computer. This computer has great graphics. the gaming speed is excellent. I would highly recommend this laptop it is exactly what we wanted. Excellent for gaming.

I couldn't be more happy with this one. The first game I loaded up was Cyberpunk 2077 and it ran great! The screen looks great too, nice brightness and colors without any adjustment. This is a great value.

This was my first time buying a brand-new gaming laptop and I chose this one because of the great reviews. Once I got it I had many problems with it like the drivers being out of date and not working with many applications. I have no laptop experience and just followed YouTube videos on how to and what driver to install and update. Once you get everything moving it is a great laptop. Some tips I have are not to connect your phone to Bluetooth. It drains the battery crazy fast. Also for me, the updates took multiple days like for everything took work smoothly it will take at least a week. The fan is amazing too! Overall great!

Great laptop that performs better than I imagined! Will get hot on your lap, especially while gaming. Which is why I bought a laptop fan to accommodate. Plays Diablo IV on ultra setting seamlessly.

I genuinely loved this laptop while I had it. From January 2023 until March 2025, it ran everything I threw at it, games, multitasking, and graphics-heavy work, smoothly and without issues. Performance was excellent, the graphics looked amazing, and the screen really made everything pop. It always felt fast, powerful, and premium. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t end well. Around March 2025, after normal use and with the laptop kept in pristine condition, the motherboard suddenly died. There was no warning and no misuse involved. I later found out that replacing the motherboard would cost around $700, which made repairing it unrealistic. After this happened, I realized I wasn’t alone, there are other users online reporting similar motherboard failures with this model or the Zephyrus line in general. That made it feel less like bad luck and more like a possible reliability issue. Would I buy it again? Probably not. For a laptop that cost around $1,300, having the motherboard fail after just over two years feels like a reliability risk that’s too high. While the performance and design are excellent, long-term durability matters just as much at this price point. Amazing performance and graphics while it works — but the long-term reliability didn’t meet expectations.

Love this laptop, good enough to run games like valorant and you can even play call of duty on low settings but I recommend using a powerful aftermarket fan when running higher taxing games

Excellent product. I run every game in higher settings. Great performance. The screen is crazy good with 165hgz and the colors are beautiful, excellent panel to edit photoshop and premiere.

My teenage daughter loves gaming on this device. Excellent graphics. Fast! Easy to use. Lots of options.

Cons: Boot up time is too slow, even with fast boot enabled. The bois doesn't have many options available and most advanced options are handled through an asus bloatware app that will likely stop being supported in a few years, making the laptop annoying to use and difficult to use with linux. The laptop has an annoying pop up that shows that it's switching between "default" and "silent" mode, and there's no way to shut it off. The keyboard is the very definition of trash, there's no camera cover built in for privacy, no touchscreen, and the laptop is heavy and feels plasticy and cheap... also to add to all this the charge and power indicators are pointing toward the back, so that the light doesn't bug people (ignore that the entire laptop lights up like a christmas tree with all those rgb, not sure why they made some of these design choices with the indicator lights, but whatever...) Pro: The screen is beautiful, the rgb is diffused well, the laptop is fast and has great specs. It comes with 16gb ram, not the advertised 8gb. It looks cool and catches peoples attention in public, it's a great laptop, but coming from some more premium, albeit older, dell and HP models it's strange to me to see why they made some of the design choices they made with this laptop... it was clearly more about looking cool instead of being practical.

This computer has worked great for me as a karaoke host. Sound, speed, video and performance all exceed my previous HP.

Excellent laptop. It has the power, graphics capability, RAM, and design perfect for me. I wish it had a little larger SSD, but the choice between price and larger storage was mine. This is a great laptop. I almost did not go with ASUS again due to my last laptop a 2:1 gaming. I had issues within the first year, but since it was an open box purchase. The warranty was void after 90 days of purchase. My problem was no one informed me of this at purchase. This was a display model open box at Best Buy. So the real fault was the Best Buy not informing me while trying to sell me their warranty.

Performs as expected. Screen is ok but not the best in class. Runs hot for gaming but not really different than other gaming laptops. Included Asus apps are lackluster the Armory Crate is ok for setting fan speeds etc but I'd recommend doing driver or BIOS updates manually. Build quality is ok and sound is better than expected - not good but serviceable. Keyboard feels good and trackpad is not overly frustrating to use.

I really enjoy this laptop, it's got a beautiful screen, colors pop. Very fast, camera is great for zoom meetings. It's a great buy.
