    When I originally ordered this laptop I got a lemon with a glitchy screen. I’m glad I exchanged it and tried again because it’s exactly what I wanted as far as features and size. This is a great little laptop for work and play!

    I bought this computer expecting better performance than my 3 year old Razer. By all accounts it should outperform it since all the specs were better. It is trash. It reboots randomly with no warning since day 1. The keyboard randomly stops working as does the trackpad. I got this on sale for $999 and it is not even worth that. Second ASUS I have bought and the last. Buy a Razer, you get what you pay for.

    This laptop is good for an ultra portable gaming laptop. It’s a bit loud and the screen had IPS glow but for the money, it’s a good machine. The AMD GPU is decent but since the screen is 1600p, it can struggle in high end AAA games. I just wish the grey variant was state side,

    Compact and very powerful gaming laptop. If you want a gaming laptop that can be used as an actual laptop and not mobile desktop and are not willing to pay for a razer blade, this is the move. Turn off overclocking on the CPU though as it will run unnecessarily hot out of box.

    Its compact design makes the heat generated while gaming easily felt while using the keyboard. Which is understandable in my opinion. Aside from that, an awesome laptop. Its full of unexpected quality. Even the speakers are better than I'd thought. Would buy again, Very satisfied.

    Great laptop, good form factor for on-the-go use. I'm a college student and it works great for campus use due to the smaller size. The only drawback would be battery life, but honestly that should be expected considering the internals.

    I don't like the design, and the battery life is very bad even during non-gaming activities like web browsing. Other than that, it is powerful, fast, of good quality, and the keyboard is amazing.

    Not all that impressed. I had a 5+ year old Acer Nitro with an i5 in it that I feel ran games at the safe FPS this laptop does. Had settings on max for Fortnite, it ran about 70 FPS. Turned it down to Low-Med settings and then was able to get about 144 FPS. For what the specs are, I expected better performance. I guess spending $1000, you get what you pay for. I can't justify to myself to spend more than $1,500 on a laptop. Gaming or otherwise. Battery life was better than expected when not gaming and the profile was set to "normal".

    Great Laptop, not bulky!

    This laptop is pretty slick. I did end up adding a 32 GB strip of RAm increasing to 48 GB and I swapped out the hard drive increasing to 2 TB. I love it, and the ROG site gives good info on how to do the swaps!

    Pay attention to specs of item received (open box)

    I purchased this item yesterday but didn't get this item. I got a similar older model without RTX4060. However, it was open box, people make mistakes in labeling open box items. Pay attention when purchasing open box items, Best Buy will sell you something different than what is being described. You should check the Open Box tag model number and compare with the model on the tags on the item.

    Great laptop for traveling and working

    I selected this laptop for its configurations and its compact size. It is good-looking and light, the trade-off is the power adapter size. I haven't tried to play any games on it yet, but it does a good job on CAD. So far, no complaints.

    I bought this device because I wanted to be able to play games and I wanted to use it to stream tv and I wanted to use it for school without standing out. This device is great at all three and I will continue to use it for those purposes.

    Extremely Disappointed - Best Buy's Cus. Services

    I am extremely disappointed with the service I received both in-person and online at Best Buy. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disheartening. I purchased an HP OMEN 16 laptop from Best Buy, excited to use it for my work. However, upon setting it up at home, I encountered severe Wi-Fi issues—the Wi-Fi wouldn't show up, leaving me unable to connect to the internet and perform my work tasks. As someone who works from home, this was a significant inconvenience. I visited the store to explain the issue and requested a one-to-one replacement. Unfortunately, they informed me they didn't have any replacements in stock and offered me store credit instead. Reluctantly, I accepted the $1200 store credit, despite being a loyal Best Buy customer who has purchased all my electronics from them across multiple states (NY, IL, CA). Using the store credit, I decided to purchase an ASUS ROG laptop, paying an additional $200 out of pocket to get a machine that could meet my needs. Initially, I was happy with this decision. However, within two days, the laptop started experiencing severe issues—Windows kept crashing, and the laptop couldn’t restart properly. This happened repeatedly, disrupting my work and causing immense frustration. I returned to the store to address the ongoing problems and was met with unsatisfactory solutions. The manager, Steven, was extremely rude and showed no concern for my situation. They insisted that since the laptop was bought with store credit, any refund would also be store credit. After much argument, they directed me to online customer service, who also reiterated that they could only offer store credit. I expressed my frustration, explaining that I did not want another laptop from Best Buy after two failed purchases. I wanted a refund to my original payment method, but they refused. Ultimately, I ended up spending an additional $114 to get a third laptop, which I hope will finally work without issues. When I asked what would happen if this third laptop had similar issues, they suggested I purchase a $49 service pack or contact the manufacturer for repairs. It is absurd to spend $1600 on a new laptop only to be told to send it in for repairs immediately. This entire experience has been a nightmare. I am deeply dissatisfied with Best Buy's handling of the situation and their lack of customer care. I am deleting my Best Buy account and will never shop there again. I hope this review serves as a warning to others: do not accept store credit, and be cautious when dealing with Best Buy's customer service. 1) HP OMEN 16 2) ROG zephyrus (paid $200 on top of intial $1200) 3) HP OMEN 16 (paid $114 on top of intital $1400 store credit for the same model I bought the first time).
