Such a powerful machine in such a small package. Unfortunately this one is plagued with software instability issues causing frequent BSOD crashes, and random black screen crashes that make you hold the power button down to reset. After doing a clean windows install 3 times, I finally have this one running perfectly. Installing 1 program at a time, and testing, I was able to find the culprit. It was the ASUS Smart Display Control program. Avoid installing this at all costs, or uninstall it imediatley if you have. Not a single issue after removing this program. The other problem I ran into was warranty support. The BSOD issues had me checking my options for warranty. Apparantly just because I bought it from Bestbuy, the laptop's model number is tagged indicating where it was purchased from, and ASUS completely rejected any and all support for me, would not even give me the time of day and insisted I had to get support directly through best buy. Maybe consider buying directly from ASUS or Amazon instead?

This is the nicest laptop I’ve ever used. Love the speed, size, and the glass trackpad is fantastic. Then there’s the OLED screen that is so crisp and clear. You won’t be disappointed. Now if it just were a cheaper!

This laptop is an absolute beast. I’m getting 400 fps in Overwatch with good looking settings. I swapped the drive for a 4TB and it was easy enough to find all of the drivers and software I needed. Ghelper is great.

Build quality is solid, performance is excellent, versatile for gaming and school. Definitely recommend!! Especially when on sale

The computer is fine, but for gaming a console or a desktop PC is a much better option. Gaming on a laptop isn’t ideal because they tend to get noisy and don’t offer the same performance as a desktop.

It's a great laptop - small, sexy, and powerful. Buy a dedicated cooling fan for it to sit on though, it gets HOT

Beautiful device, but the keyboard gets too hot. Definitely hard to use for gaming or business secondary to this issue.

Very good laptop...Its very quick to open the tabs and applications. This is great for the money.

Love the size and power. I use it for work, pcvr, and gaming. Perfect size for my needs. Battery life is fine on silent mode using G Helper.

Build quality is fantastic, never had a problem with that. My main issue was mainly with the wifi card, wifi connection would be lost and I’d have to go to device manager to manually reset it every 30 minutes to an hour. The screen would also black out randomly, and it wouldn’t turn back on even when pressing the power button. Same thing would happen while the screen was awake, everything would freeze, you wouldn’t be able to use your cursor or keyboard, and the power button would become unresponsive. A few times, when the laptop should’ve been in sleep mode, the battery completely drained despite there being no heavy applications open. I tried updating to all the latest drivers, yet these three issues still persisted. I’m sure I probably got a defective model, yet my experience was a little disappointing considering how much money I spent.

Great laptop! Got it open box for a better price that I could not say no to. My only gripe is the heat, but it's not the worst. might get a small raiser or print one

This is such a great looking, sleek laptop that can seemingly do it all. We bought it at closing time, took it home and opened it up. Followed all the instructions. Set it up. The fans were a bit loud but that’s to be expected on such a thin, powerful device. It was even warm but kept a close eye to make sure it wasn’t too hot to touch. Everything was great. By mid morning the following day, after a gaming session, I went to turn it off. There were updates to the BIOS system that wanted to be installed before it shutdown- ok. I walk away for a minute and come back to screen talking about an error with the BIOS update. It wouldn’t let me exit. Not wanting to click the wrong thing and mess up this expensive device, I took it to the Geek Squad (a 5 minute drive). By the time I got there, the laptop was SO HOT (the fans weren’t even running at this time) that it couldn’t be touched except by holding it with the tips of your fingers, at the sides. There was a chemical smell coming from it as well. It took it a long time to come down to a touchable temperature. They got it to update and it was all good as if it had never gotten that hot. I took it home, packaged it up, and returned it asap. I was not willing to spend 2k on a laptop that could get THAT hot (no joke, the guys hand sprung up so fast when he touched it). It was a literal fire hazard. And that smell? I’m guessing the glue inside- but was there any left? Who knows.

I absolutely love this laptop! however, it has issue with going to sleep. I think it is the bios software. So I just dont put it to sleep mode. Runs games great!

Very powerful but also quiet and portable. It can play most games maxed out while in turbo mode. Most games on high with the performance mode

After using this for a few weeks now, I completely feel happy with my purchase. Overall the laptop feels great quality wise, performs as expected, and does everything I throw at it. Would I recommend for those with the will to spend the amount that’s its worth, yes. If you don’t want to spend less then isn’t for you but if your willing to pay, you’ll be happy with your purchase.

Gpu is super fast Great for some gaming and photo editing. Battery lasts a really long time as well under casual use. Even good while streaming videos

Great performance, panel and size. Very quit for its size. Nice keyboard and glass track pad and chassis that dont leave fingerprints I highly recommended this over the razer blade.
