I've only been using the laptop for a week, and I put Garuda Linux on it after redeeming all the included Steam Games, but so far, this is the best laptop I've owned. Great build quality, great screen, pretty good keyboard layout (even though the FN key is not in the far corner like I expect from years on Macs and Thinkpads), and smooth trackpad. Using a pretty standard ROG Control Center app, you can control all of the features (slash lighting, keyboard RGB, fan curves), and it can be as quiet or noisy as you let it. My only hiccup so far, and the only reason it doesn't rate better (and it may be something fixable with software) is that switching between dedicated and integrated graphics outside of the auto "Hybrid" mode requires a full restart. And when the dGPU is running, there is basically no battery life. If left in Hybrid mode, lots of things (e.g. starting a GPU-accelerated browser, the inital opening of some large documents, downloads of games) seem to trigger the switch to the dGPU, which drains the battery faster, and nearly unexpectedly. But it can charge via the USB-C port, so it's easy to top it up while on the move.

Awesome laptop. Runs relatively cool and pretty quiet as well. Has all the performance I need in a 14 inch form factor. The OLED screen is just the cherry on top

This upgraded model satisfied just about everything it could from the previous! The display has deep blacks and pure whites complement the beautiful frame-rate for gaming and editing panels for video editing. The only flaw is that the USB4 port is compatible with plenty of Thunderbolt devices, but not all, as it is not a true Thunderbolt port. However, I have it successfully powering 12 USB devices and 2 gaming monitors from a dock connected to it's single USB4 port. Very impressive!

My return window ended yesterday and today my laptop randomly restarted... i got a notification that the system encountered a problem and needed to restart and just shut off on its own but didn't restart. I tried turning it back on and nothing the screen was just off but i could hear the fans running really light, i unplugged it and after a while the fans stopped but still nothing, would not turn on at all. After a google search on how to force shut down I held the power button down for 10 sec and finally was able to get it to shut off completely apparently. After finally getting it to turn back on it seems fine. I day trade and luckily had just gotten out of a trade this could've been really bad given all of my tasks were just ended. Also the build quality could be better the bottom cover is bulged towards the front to where you can see inside which again that should not be the case in a laptop at this price point in my opinion. I can say it does run smoothly when it wants, even tho it'll have some micro stutters here and there when not plugged in which for now I'm thinking can be fixed with some tunning, but overall I am a bit disappointed after what just happened with the restart today and really hope the problem doesn't persist. Now I'm wondering if i should bring it in for a diagnostic, and seeing what my options are to move forward. Now the part where if i would recommend it.. it is a good running laptop and does run very well even with alot of tasks running, and it does tick alot of boxes as far as performance, screen resolution, and gaming, which is definitely a plus. In conclusion I'd say go for it if you can get it on a sale, I would not recommend it at full price.

Great portable gaming computer, not only allows you to enjoy high demanding games, its also a powerhouse to do any kind of develop/design tasks.

I’ve been using the Zephyrus G14 2025 for a while now, and overall it’s an absolute beast. Performance is seriously impressive for a 14-inch laptop, it can handle most modern AAA games at max settings, but during long gaming sessions it does get quite hot, so I usually lower some graphics settings to keep temperatures in a more comfortable 65–75°C range. The display is one of the highlights — sharp, vibrant, and just a pleasure to look at whether I’m gaming or doing everyday tasks. The keyboard, trackpad also feels fantastic. On top of that, the speakers sound surprisingly good for a laptop this size. One thing I strongly recommend is sticking with ASUS-recommended drivers. Try to look up your exact product ID on the ASUS website and download drivers from there. Doing this helped me avoid issues like random restarts and kept the system running smoothly.

I'm really enjoying this laptop. Powerful yet in a small form factor. This replaced my desktop computer.

Heard a lot of mixed reviews on this beast of a machine. Turns out I haven’t experienced any of the issues others have. I recommend deleting bloatware like my Asus and armory crate and installing G-Helper! Very simplified alternative and uses much less resources. Also allows you to create custom fan curves and even use turbo mode on battery- this feature is restricted with crate. G-Helper gained me performance and battery life while running silent as you can set fans at zero until chip reaches whatever temps you want. Just deleting crate and my Asus made the system noticeably snappier!

I'm sorry but 16gb just isn't enough anymore. It the box it was using 65-70% of its ram just idling. See the Pic It also gets hot. I traded it in for the higher tier that has better cooling and double the ram. I was impressed by how well it games but again way too hot... if you want something that will still be good in a couple years i recommend the 32gb vapor chamber cooling models

It is an exceptionally powerful speedy, and uh, visually esthetics is a 100 out of 10. I'm very happy bit my purchase. And I am very happy with the response that the computation and the speed of the system, I'm not used to having all this horsepower up and underneath the hood. I might just have to take it down to track for an eighth quarter. Mile, see what my lap time is? There's this thing right here, suing.It should be a super sport!! SS literally in the usb-a and usb-c ports

With a little help from Ghelper and some fine tuning this can be one of the best gaming laptops on the market! I absolutely love it and wholeheartedly recommend updating everything, then uninstalling asus services and installing ghelper.

Worth it! Specs is just nice for gaming and with it's weight, you can bring it anywhere.

I’ve been using this ROG Zephyrus G14 for less than a year and honestly it’s been very disappointing. It overheats even with normal use, the fans get loud even when I’m just browsing, and the laptop freezes and crashes for no clear reason. Just look at the Reliability Monitor report I shared from only one month and you’ll see how many times it crashed and had errors. A Best Buy Geek Squad technician even told me this is a common issue with the G14. If you need a reliable high-performance laptop, I would not recommend this one.

Great laptop, great build quality, not to even mention that performance is the main point in these laptops. The main weak point it's the heat and loud noise of the fans that on playing games its annoying, but overall, it looks like a solid purchase

love. Amazing laptop. Brilliant performance and aesthetics. I wish best buy stocked more eclipse gray models. Quality of product is almost on par with MacBook. Optimizing battery life takes a little work and usually constant tweaks in ghelper. Tried overcooking with ghelper and i saw major increase in time spy.

with this laptop is just like a normal size honestly but its lighter and convenient for on the go its such a good light color and the game play on it runs good but it does have the loud fans depending on what game you play like Fortnite or phasmo after all i like this laptop

My first gaming laptop! Pretty and clean look! Many features. The only downsides was I wasn’t told there are some things you need to download yourself for things to work, such as the slash lighting application.

This is by far The Best Laptop I have ever purchased. The speed of uploading pics and media is phenomenal. This machine is a Beast of Beast, so if your imagination is anywhere near my huge imagination… I suggest you purchase this laptop!!!

Is a great laptop! Amazing! Beatiful! Great sound and video. The definition colors is different to other laptops. I feel happy with this laptop. Only see one problem, the battery. Asus needs extend battery life.
