This G14 although hesitant at first surpassed my expectations. This laptop is powerful enough to run FPS games at more than 200 FPS and also slim and lightweight enough for travel and schoolwork. The battery life will ensure to last you throughout the day. Good for use on the go or at a desktop.

Have not had any issues with anything I have asked it to do. It plays all the games I have tried flawlessly and at great settings, not top, but still very amazing. The OLED looks amazing. Even with the design change to have the venting on the bottom, have not had any issue with thermals. It has gotten a little loud at times, but not for long

Dead silent when needed, but hot/loud at 100%

It's a absolutely great looking laptop. You will just want to take it out of the bag and enjoy the appearence everyday. It can go dead silent when just turning off the dGPU and use silent mode from ghelper. The iGPU can handle the 120hz screen with no issue. And you get 8+hours of battery If anything not 5 star is the noise and heat if you go with dGPU at 100% (I mean, that's why we pay the premium for a 5070TI right?). It can be very loud and kind of hot, while that's expected. I think it can be great if the 5070ti can be downvolted or limited below the min 80W on its power drain to keep the device cooler. But that defeats the purpose of such an expensive laptop anyway. After owning it, I do admit a 5070 or 5060 today can be a better pair with it. But I need the vram so bad. Maybe a 5070 super is the best match.

This laptop has worked great for the games I've played on it so far. The boost that the 2.0ghz rated CPU gets runs most games quite smoothly. It does get very hot. A cooling pad/fan is suggested but overall. This is a great choice for gaming. A bit pricey.

Overall this is a really laptop but the extremely loud (and whining) fan noise and temperatures really put a damper on it. If using it on a desktop with a cooling pad or fan blowing, it would be a workhorse but the fan noise was just too much for me to handle when using it in other situations. I will say though, if using it just as a web-surfer and the like, it is dead silent. But there are much cheaper alternatives if that’s your ultimate use case for this device. I read the reviews about fan noise (so I knew what I was getting into) and decided to give it a shot for myself so take that for what it’s worth. I also owned a 2023 version briefly but got rid of it for the same reason.

Great looks, good speaker, and sleek performance. It runs pretty hot, though, and can get quite loud. However, the performance makes up for these issues. Grab a headphone while gaming, and you should be fine.

I bought this laptop a few months ago, and honestly it has been amazing. The performance is extremely fast and smooth for everything I do. Gaming runs perfectly with high settings, no lag, and no overheating issues. The display looks incredible, and the overall speed makes multitasking very easy. Boot time is fast, apps open instantly, and gameplay feels very stable and responsive. The build quality is premium, and it’s also surprisingly quiet for such a powerful machine. This is a special laptop for anyone who wants serious gaming performance and smooth everyday use. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend it.

Firstly, I was a long time MacBook user. Switched from a M2 Pro MacBook to this one, ROG Zephrus G14 with 5070 Ti. The reason for the switch, I wanted a single device that I can use for work and as well as gaming. Hoping to use the GPUs for some slight programming too. It looks sleek and minimalistic. It’s really powerful and the screen is just vibrant! Any game, I throw at it, it just rips through while maintaining temps around 70-85C even in performance mode (didn’t even try turbo a lot yet). The battery seems ok so far but have to test it a bit more, easily 5-6 hrs or more on light tasks. The biggest inconvenience so far was how much time it took to set up WSL on windows and environments like I used to have on Unix on my mac. But this is more of a windows issue. Besides that, I would also recommend keeping a look out for an open-box. I got a discount of like $300 and it’s practically brand new!

Excellent (gaming) laptop. Sleek design, versatile modes (silent, performance, turbo), and great display range. But buy yourself a cooling pad, because this will run hot if you max it out for gaming or rendering.

This is the best laptop I’ve ever owned and it’s not close. It runs hot and loud under load, but if you use G Helper with and remove the bloatware that comes pre installed, it can be tamed. Incredible battery life, amazing gaming performance, screen is beautiful, but very expensive.

Asus laptop was an amazing choice. The build quality is top notch and being a light weight gaming laptop is what I’ve been looking for quite some time. Upgrading the ssd was effortless but wished it had the ability to upgrade the ram instead of being soldered in the motherboard. The screen is beautiful with deep colors with good visibility on strong light areas. The sound is full and spacious. Battery life for me last for a solid 2 hours of game play on high demand titles, but your results will vary. I will highly recommend this laptop to get your gaming fix without the bulk

I've been very pleased with the performance and portability of this device. It looks and feels premium, and I've been impressed by the quality so far. Cramming all that performance into a tiny space comes at the cost of increased heat, so that's something to be aware of.

Feels very well built and does not have flex on keyboard. When doing everyday tasks, the machine is quiet and has great battery life. Dont expect great battery life while gaming or doing GPU intensive tasks though. When fans ramp up it is LOUD! Far louder than what I would have expected.

Was a good laptop definitely did not lag during game performance when I first got it. I downloaded Grand theft auto five worked great however, the fans can be loud. The keyboard can be hot during extreme gameplay, which is normal, but I was not a fan of when I left Grandtheft auto five on, and I stepped away for the computer for more than an hour unexpectedly. When I returned back the computer was having a glitch when I put on Netflix. If you’re considering getting this laptop, definitely would recommend but I don’t need a gaming laptop. I just need something for school.

This thing is exceptional. Thinnest and best gaming-grade laptop I've ever owned. At this size their will always be a tradeoff and in this case its fan noise when playing something intense. You can either turn the amazing speakers up, or use a headset. Every other spec is best of class, including display, keyboard, build-quality etc. Plays AAA games with maxed settings fairly easily. I do recommend saving/splurging for at least a 5070Ti for the graphics memory.

I’ve been genuinely impressed with the ROG Zephyrus G14 (RTX 5070 Ti). It’s an outstanding laptop that performs exceptionally well across the board. The build quality feels premium, the design is clean and modern, and the audio is surprisingly rich for such a compact machine. The lighting is tasteful, and the pre-installed software suite is actually useful without feeling intrusive or overloaded. One of its biggest strengths is versatility. For work, switching to eco mode and setting Armoury Crate to Silent allows the laptop to reach around 9–10 hours of light productivity. That makes it a great choice for office tasks, multitasking, and extended use away from a charger. When you switch to Turbo mode with maximum performance settings, it transforms into a true powerhouse. I’ve played demanding games like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Red Dead Redemption 2, Path of Exile 2, Counter-Strike, and Dota 2, all running with excellent visuals and consistently high FPS. It’s seriously impressive performance for a laptop of this size. Portability is another major highlight. It’s thin, lightweight, and compact—just a bit larger and slightly heavier than a MacBook Air—which makes its performance even more surprising. It’s hard to believe a device this small can deliver such high-end gaming capability. I also use it connected to a 27-inch ASUS TUF monitor, and the experience is fantastic. The smoothness and high frame rates make it feel very close to a full desktop gaming setup. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this laptop. It strikes a great balance between productivity and gaming, making it a solid choice no matter how you plan to use it. CONS: I sometimes feel that the 16" version might have been a better choice for gaming without relying on an external display. It does get quite hot during gaming sessions, although this can be managed with a cooling stand.
