I’m not an expert on laptops, but so far I have loved having it for college. The only thing is this is a gaming laptop meant to last like 10 hours of gaming but died after two hours of sims. The battery life is great other than when gaming, Did get pretty hot while I was playing as well. But other than that I love the graphics and how light this laptop is.

Amazing design, an audio system with exceptional sound quality — but the 3K 120Hz display heavily overloads the mobile 5060 GPU. This version is better suited for story-driven games and movies. The OLED screen doesn’t have as rich colors compared to the Lenovo Legion. There are also some hardware issues — BitLocker often crashed and the system glitched occasionally. For this price, I expected it to be perfect, but the drawbacks are significant enough to consider more expensive options.
Overall, it’s a very premium laptop, great for lighter tasks. For such specs, its compactness is impressive, and the touchpad feels incredibly smooth and pleasant to use. In general, it’s a specific but incredibly premium device.
Recommended only for those who have the budget and want to get a compact beast.

It weighs less than the MacBook Pro 14inch , has a very good battery life in terms of a windows laptop. I am just love with the OLED display, it’s crisp and the blacks are just too good.

Super sleek and minimalistic. Such a beautiful product. It almost looks like a macbook because it is super slim, it really doesn't look like a big bulky gaming laptop and I'm all for it, that will make transportation, in case I have to take it anywhere, so much easier. The delivery was soooo fast I was very impressed.

After 7 exchanged laptops, I got an acceptable G14 RTX 5060 model. I was very stressed because of the QC from Asus manufacturing. All the 8 laptops I got, had a small dent and a lift in the bottom cover of the laptop. It looks more like a bad manufacturing process. Besides the dent and the lifted bottom cover, the machine works great. Finally, one good unit.
The battery life is incredible. The display is really good (besides some units like the ones I did exchange has nanoscopic sub-pixels behaving weird. Not dead pixels but stuck pixels).
the graphics card is working great. The trackpad feels good and is very spacious.
If you want to embrace an adventure and try luck, get one of theses. Asus needs to really stick to pay attention to QC and a lot!

This perhaps is the ultimate laptop for both gaming, productivity, video and photo editing, portability, if this thing had 4tb of storage and 64 gb of ram its years ahead of every laptop on the market. The one thing I can say is the battery life can be an issue if you travel a lot, but it’s still better than most windows laptops on the market.

The Laptop is a beast, I love everything about this except the 16GB RAM, the ram is really fast but 16gb isn't just enough. for what the laptop is capable of, 16gb is kinda bottlenecking the entire laptop

Speakers are the best sounding out of all gaming laptops I’ve owned, fans are not as loud as most gaming laptops. Screen is glossy does leave tons of finger prints. Build feels solid keyboard is great feeling.

Overall a great computer, battery life is the only thing that I would complain about. Typically does not last more than 2 hours if you are doing normal college homework. I will also mention that this laptop is definitely over priced, granted how good the CPU and GPU is, I still believe that it is over priced. Many people can build computers for a cheaper with almost the same hardware.

As someone who works on the go, plays games, edits, while also wanting performance packed into a decent sized laptop the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 immediately caught my attention. With a spec sheet boasting a Ryzen 9 270 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and a stunning 14” 3K OLED display all packed in a sleek platinum white aluminum chassis.
Right out of the box, the Zephyrus G14 feels premium. The chassis is lightweight at just around 3.31lbs with a clean White finish. The aluminum build is sturdy with no flex when typing on the keyboard. This laptop has a more executive look than the traditional “Gamer” aesthetic seen in most gaming laptops, with a classy light strip on the back that can be turned off if you prefer.
The 14″ 3K OLED panel (2880 × 1800) running at 120 Hz is easily one of this laptop’s standout features. The display offers 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, razor-sharp contrast, and rich deep blacks that only OLED can provide. Motion is smooth thanks to the 0.2 ms response time, and the support for Dolby Vision and HDR content makes it great for both gaming and media use.
One minor nitpick is the brightness isn’t quite enough in direct sunlight. It’s still usable, but I found myself wishing for just a little more headroom when working outdoors or near a window, but that's a trade off you expect when using an OLED panel.
The Ryzen 9 270 is a multitasking monster. With 8 cores and 16 threads, along with onboard AI acceleration. In the Cinebench benchmark it clocked in at 12,064 which is a very respectable score in the multicore test. I regularly run heavy workflows including Chrome with dozens of open tabs, Discord, and CapCut for editing. Not once did I feel the system struggle.
Paired with the GeForce RTX 5060, this laptop hits a sweet spot for 1440p gaming. I ran Cyberpunk 2077 at a mixture of medium to high settings and hit above 60 fps.. This was mostly achieved when using DLSS 4. It really shines here, allowing for smoother gameplay with higher frame rates without melting your lap. It even outperformed the RTX 4070 on my old laptop by a respectable margin while still staying thermally under control. Keep in mind, when playing power heavy games like Cyberpunk 2077, you will want to have your laptop plugged in with the power cable, because you will not be able to run the game at all, just running off of the battery.
ASUS’s Tri-Fan cooling and redistributed heat pipes does a great job of keeping performance consistent. However, the fan curve can be a mixed bag. Most of the time, it's whisper-quiet. But when it kicks up under load, it sometimes spikes into high-pitched territory, which can be jarring especially during late-night sessions. Performance never dipped due to thermals, but I would’ve appreciated a smoother acoustic profile. That being said I feel like most people will be wearing some sort of headphones when playing power hungry games, to block out that fan noise.
Battery life on this laptop is not the greatest, in that depending on your power mode you can get from anywhere between 2 and half hours to about 6 hours, so if you're not gaming on it I recommend putting it into one of the balanced modes to get the most battery life.
The I/O selection is great for such a slim laptop, which includes 2x USB-C ports, 2x USB-A ports, HDMI2.1, a microSD slot, and a headphone jack.
The keyboard is responsive, satisfying to type on, and well-spaced. The speakers, now upgraded with new woofers and Dolby Atmos tuning, deliver surprisingly full and loud audio for such a thin device that are great for music, gaming, and even some casual editing.
My only real complaint about this laptop is its lack of upgradeability in that it only has 1x SSD slot, so no additional internal storage. Meaning if you want to upgrade your storage you will need to copy your current M.2 over to a bigger M.2 SSD, which can be difficult for casual users. And then since the RAM is soldier onto the motherboard, you are stuck with the 16 GB RAM. Also, the power brick is on the beefier side and weighs about 1lbs.
Pros:
Stunning OLED panel
AMD Ryzen 9 HX 370 delivers elite multitasking
RTX 5060 with DLSS 4 runs modern games smoothly
Surprisingly light and portable at 3 lbs.
Cons:
Battery life isn't the best
Only 1 SSD Slot.
RAM is not upgradeable
Overall, the Zephyrus G14 is a nearly perfect blend of power, portability, with a gorgeous display. If you need a machine that can game, create, and travel with you without compromise, this is the one. That said, it isn’t perfect. The fan behavior under load can be annoying, and the soldered RAM means you're stuck with 16 GB. Still, for what it is a premium, ultra-portable powerhouse it’s hard to beat and I recommend it.
