Great laptop. Not as powerful as a gaming pc. But can game relatively good. Not so much a “laptop” as it gets super hot and the battery dies quick. Beautiful oled display.

Very lightweight, very thin, and excellent gaming FPS for the price. You really can't game on battery for long, it's best used for gaming when plugged in. The MyAsus software allows you to limit battery charging for longer life, which I absolutely love. It puts out a lot of heat, but the exhaust is at the top of the keyboard, at the bottom of the monitor. This keeps it away from you hands. This screen is very bright. I've had 3 prior G14s, all have been good. Wait until this goes on sale and the value will be better.

Runs most games without a hitch. The fan does put in a lot of work, though, and it can get quite warm on your lap if you're not playing on a desk or with a dock.

Excellent little laptop with great specs, screen, keyboard and more. Hard to find anything with similar specs and portability. My only gripe is the power brick. While it is not huge, it does take away from the portability,. It would be perfect if it were usbc and could use a more portable and universal way to power

I have not used it for gaming yet however it heats up quite a bit while charging. Overall the screen is perfect, battery life is also good for a gaming laptop, awesome trackpad, and very stylish.

I want to take a moment to share some thought I have regarding this Zephyrus G14 that I ultimately returned. First, I am impressed that Asus could fit so much technology and good stuff into a small package, but it comes at a sacrifice that makes it a less than ideal laptop (at least for me). This three items I am about to list might be nits for some, but for me that are deal breakers for a laptop that retails at $1600 (but I got on sale). There are enough reviews out there that expound on how good the display is (yes, it is that good), how good the audio is (yes, amazing), the great keyboard, great trackpad, and the power inside. However, I want to focus on the three things that turned me off on this laptop. First, the USB4 port is not really a fully functional USB4 port. USB4 spec says it should work with a Thunderbolt 3/4 port. However, this laptop (with latest drivers and BIOS) will not connect using to a Thunderbolt dock properly. I checked on Reddit and forums and this is a known issue for the Zephyrus laptops that is not addressed at all. This is not an across the board issue with Asus as the Zenbook S16 and Vivobook S16 (both AMD 370 HX chips) work properly with Thunderbolt docks. So, this can't be used at work correctly for me. Second, the heat. I am able to keep the temps down with the use of GHelper by limiting the TDP and turning off CPU Boost (which is not really needed for day to day work and gaming). (Brief aside: I wish Windows would do a better job of deciding when it really needs to CPU boost as it does it too often and causes power and temp spikes) While using the laptop connected to another USB 3 PD/DP dock, my temps remained in the mid 40's generally, but the rest of the chassis and keyboard just felt warm to the touch. It seems like this model tries to use the entire chassis as a heat sink and that really is not ideal as it is distracting when typing and doing work. It never burned because temps were so low, but it was warm enough to be distracting. I have used other laptops and did not have this issue with them. Finally, the middle fan's high pitched noise. Even though I was below the fan curve settings I had for the fans to kick on, they still had to occasionally to keep the system cool. The fans were effective and never did I get really hot. However, the middle fan's acoustics are annoying and distracting. There is a high pitched sound coming out of it that is noticeable in a quiet environment and just distracts from doing work. So in summary, yes it is a great laptop on paper (if bought on sale) and has lots of potential, but just be aware of how you will use it and what your use case is. I wanted to use this as a travel laptop for work due to size and the fact I could still game at night with it. However, the three items above made it impossible to keep. Perhaps Asus could address this in the USB4 issue in the future with a BIOS/driver update and in the next model of the Zephyrus use a vapor chamber and improve heat dissipation to deal with items two and three. As of this moment, I plan to steer clear of the Zephyrus line until the issues are fixed. Just wanted to share my two cents on this laptop with the general audience.

It’s good and beautiful laptop with beautiful OLED screen and speakers with awesome sound quality. It’s very easy to carry , but the graphic card it’s not that powerful .

It's an excellent little gaming laptop. It runs everything I throw at it decently. It does get kinda hot and I wish the fingerprint was back instead of facial recognition. Otherwise, it's perfect for my needs. OLED display is amazing, everything looks great on that screen.

Easy to use. After updating everything runs amazingly. Plays games smooth and crystal clear. Nice color. Like that i can change the keyboard color as well. Unless you’re someone who goes too deep into computers this will do what you need and want it do. I got it for world of Warcraft and it is perfect for what i want.

runs games awesome and also looks skinny and sleek enough for me to use at university in class. the fans r super loud but personally i don’t mind that

This is a perfect good small laptop if you want something thing powerful. It can run all the applications that you can think of and have one of the best speaker on a laptop that I ever heard. Not to mention the OLED screen, you can’t go back to a normal screen after you experience it. 100% recommend.

I came from Macbook Air M1 and I find this device better in all aspects. The speaker, the screen and the keyboard are the best in class. Very portable and very powerful.

Foes exactly what I need it to do; play games with great graphics, and handle my 50+ work tabs and remote databases. I have not run into any storage or gpu issues, but the most intense games I play, are sims(with 18 expansions pcks) and honkai star rail, and the computer works great for those. I would recommend getting a program to monitor fan speed and temperature, to be safe, but as long as it is vented you are good. This computer is a great option if u are moving from the apple ecosystem, as they have a similar feel and design. it has fully replaced my macbook, and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

This laptop is a powerhouse packed in a small, lightweight package. I bought this one because my last laptop died on me, and I needed an affordable replacement right away for work. This machine has been been able to handle everything that I’ve thrown at it. I play a lot of video games, and it has been able to run pretty much everything I’ve tried so far. The display is also super clear and bright, and is almost as good as an oled screen. I was also very impressed by how loud and clear the speakers are! This thing can probably outperform laptops that cost twice as much.

The computer works great and runs what i need it to with no issues, however if you do long gaming sessions it can heat up quite a bit but thats the only down side

Overall, the computer is really good. The quality of the screen is really great. It’s also a great laptop to do some easy gaming, nothing that takes up too much storage. I would say a cooling fan is most likely needed if you do plan to play games on it since it does heat up after a while. It also loads fast and the audio is good. I do think it’s different having the speakers on the sides of the keyboard but it’s pretty loud and clear. It’s definitely worth a purchase, try to get it when there’s deals. You might be able to get it for 1200 if you wait for the right time.

Genuinely a great laptop. I'm able to run games that take up a lot of space and have graphics set to high and above. Easy to customize the lighting on the keyboard and slash. It's small enough that I can fit it in nearly any bag I use regularly

I have been using this laptop for about 9 months now after switching from a 2015 MacBook Pro, and I have really enjoyed it. I mostly use it for light gaming, browsing the web, and streaming music, shows, and movies. It handles all of that really well. The screen is beautiful with vibrant colors and sharp detail. The speakers completely blew me away. They sound way better than what I expected from a laptop this size. The keyboard is very comfortable for typing, and the trackpad feels solid and responsive. It is not quite on the level of the MacBook trackpad, but still very good. Battery life has been pretty solid. I usually get around 7-8 hours of mixed use while using Silent mode. The laptop gets a little warm near the top center of the keyboard during moderate use, but the fan stays quiet which is nice. If I had to mention one small issue, I do wish the screen could tilt back a bit more. It has not been a big deal for me though. Overall, this is a thin and lightweight laptop that feels well-built and works great for everyday use. I am very happy with it and would definitely recommend it.
