Only complaints are that it heats up very quickly (we’re talking burning heat) and the battery life if not plugged in constantly is not good and won’t last you a whole day.

We do understand your concern about thermal issues and the battery discharging faster. It is normal for laptops, with the same hardware configuration and regardless of the manufacturer, to generate more heat than normal while under heavy load especially during gaming. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full throttle. Please ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions to have efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. While gaming, ensure no resource-hungry processes, service and applications are running in the background, this will spike the temperature. The heat or temperature does decrease or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down. The battery will drain faster than normal while gaming, we recommend to connect the charger while gaming. Additionally, we recommend to set your performance mode to power-saving if not playing games or running resource-hungry applications to prolong the battery life. The library is still good, but I don’t play enough to justify the cost — feels more like renting than owning games.

I switched from MacBook and purchased the laptop for light gaming and graduate school coursework capabilities. It is light weight and portable. Fan noise isn’t bad, but I do run a ghelper!

The keyboard is super nice as well. And I would say MacBook level speakers. My only complaint would be the lack of upgradability for the ram. Overall bery great laptop wuth great build quality would highly recommed.

Everyone and there mother told me that I needed to change. Went to the g14. As a finance major and a gamer I was super impressed. Very portable, great gameplay but most importantly not super expensive. 100% recommend
