    Compact powerhouse

If you are in the market for a smaller laptop and still want to game on it, this little powerhouse is the route to go. The only complaint that should be mentioned in the comments more is that this computer line has an issue with the keyboard and it'll occasionally just stop working. The in the moment solution is to just restart your laptop but it probably needs an update once you turn it back on. Aside from this issue whenever an update is available, it has and excelled from basic schoolwork to hours of dead island 2, gta 5, and mk1 with no lags and a very quiet fan.

Absolutely love this laptop. Was able to experience features on games that my old PC couldn’t handle. It did get a little hot (especially when submerged in the game for a long time), so had to purchase a laptop cooler/fan. Also works for editing photos and videos well. Battery life is also shortened when playing games at max lol. But if not, it lasts a really long time.

    A beast that heats

The laptop is powerful when it comes to specs and the 'Art of possible' , but it heats a lot and its better to buy a cooling station if you plan to use it to its full potential. All in all, the built quality, the usability and features are top notch and no qualms about that.

As a college freshman, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 has been an exceptional choice for both academic work and gaming. It handles everything from writing papers to playing games with ease. One of the standout features is its impressive battery life, making it reliable for long study sessions. The clean, white exterior gives it a sleek and modern aesthetic that fits well in any setting. Additionally, the laptop runs quietly most of the time, and even when the fans do ramp up, it's only under heavy load. Overall, the G14 balances performance, style, and practicality!

Excellent value. Can’t really ask for much more in a portable 14 inch size. Light. Graphics are jaw dropping. Sound is the best of any laptop I have heard.

While it’s a sturdy laptop, there are a lot of software glitches. Things like Chrome crash, sometimes unable to repair themselves unless I restart it. It runs things like video games, CAD programs, and other things like it really well. I find it reliable for Adobe programs and it supports programs in proper auto saves instead of cutting them off. I’d say it’s a great laptop for super heavy duty things whether you’re a graphic designer, gamer, or someone who needs to render, but for some reason it really struggles with simple programs. Like most laptops, really horrible battery life, but the display is phenomenal. Sometimes the laptop doesn’t work without being plugged in.

I upgraded from my 2020 Asus Zephyrus G14 and I am thoroughly impressed. The OLED Nebula display is the best I've seen from the lineup. 32GB of ram and the RTX 4070 are a great combo to allow for darn near max settings on all the newest games. Keyboard feels great, touchpad is larger. Speakers are greatly improved, more expansive sound and bass. The slash lighting is unneccesary. The GPU and CPU temps have improved from the previous version. Price point is truly what separates this from any other 14 inch gaming laptop.

Asus g14 is the best laptop i’ve ever used, if youre looking for a 14 inch work and game laptop this is it. Its so light compared to other 14 inch. Similar build to a macbook, with the aluminum chassis that makes it feel the most premium. The OLED screen in person is the best out there. It handles professional editing super well and gaming in high settings.

Good in general, just the price is not affordable for college kid. If possible, please provide a more student discount and they can use this laptop for CAD operation and practice in class and other high performance analysis programs. For graphic, it's wonderful and can't say much on it. Still need to try it with new AI programs and advance software for compatibility. The case needs sturdy materials as kid place them in backpack and might be damage easily. The lightweight is awesome for carrying around. Power usage is not last long when handling multiple programs and in a long day usage. Not sure gaming application that I will assumed it's fine with Black Myth of Wukong. Wifi connection is not stable at home, so the machine is connected with Ethernet. Need to test it for normal wifi connection, it seems okay so far. 1 T SSD is small nowadays, need bigger one and all the apps might occupy it quickly. The cost for SSD is expensive with this optional purchase list, not willing to spend more on it since it's only for kid to enjoy pre-work environment. Once getting a full-time work, then they might be exposed to more advanced computing. With this laptop, my kid should be able to transition into real work force soon. Thanks for the great machine!

Well reviewed and apparent why it is. This was my second G14 (first one had an unfortunate accidental drop) and couldn't be happier. Wonderful as a work laptop, daily use, and can fill in as a gaming PC at home or while traveling. Hopefully, I won't have to buy another one anytime soon, but would replace this with another G14 in the future.

A Mac User Switching to a Windows Gaming Laptop

I’ll preface this by saying I’m primarily a Mac user (both for work and personal use). However, I also enjoy PC gaming. While Apple Silicon Macs have made great strides to support more higher-end titles, there are still a number of limitations, especially if you want to dabble in PCVR like I want to do. What’s stopped me from investing in a Windows laptop - gaming or otherwise - is that nothing to me has really compared to the overall value of a MacBook Pro. Until now. This is a beast of a machine that tick marks every spec I could want in a a sub-$2k machine. The build quality is MacBook-like enough to be a true replacement (and there’s no way I can get 32GB of RAM on a Mac without paying much, much more). Couple this with a powerful enough (for me) discrete card - I’m a busy husband and father so gaming is more casual nowadays - and the richness of the OLED panel at 120hz, it’s near-perfect. Yes, the only real “con” is that is not my ideal OS (and the Mediatek WiFi card isn’t the greatest, but at least upgradeable later). Considering I can run Linux on top gives me flexibility regardless. It really is, pound for pound, the best laptop you can buy **especially** when on sale (I got a local open-box deal for less than $1600 and that is steal). You’ll have no regrets - unless you really, really hate Windows.

Great small laptop you can play most games on. Firm facror and display are the best ive ever seen in any laptop. Performance is not as strong as in larger laptops with more wattage but can play whatever game you want.

Fast, light, ultraportable, keyboard is great, screen is amazing, speakers are excellent, battery life fair, can get 6+ hours of light use. No thunderbolt USB port, I knew this going in but underestimated how I would work around that. Ultimately zero complaints, would definitely recommend and would buy again in a heartbeat.

Got it to replace a laptop that died during college. Amazing as an engineering student, being able to game, being compact and light, and working on CAD. I've been telling people to get the G14 for years but haven't had one myself as I was waiting for my previous laptop to die and this is one of the best purchases I've made
