That was odd for a brand new laptop so exchanged and the newer one has another set of issues. Like, now my screen is back to flickering randomly, my screen used to turn pitch black for a second every time I would plug into charging and finally after almost three months of use, I can see it getting slow. Invest in something better either BestBuy is selling faulty products or Asus is just like that. Would not recommend you this laptop unless you are looking for a good set of speakers and lots of ports.
