This computer can run every triple A game so effortlessly. When it’s not running a game the computer is almost completely silent

It’s actually good for gaming but does get hot super fast. So if you thinking on playing without plugging it in, then not the best option! Beside that it’s good for gaming!

I had a 2020ish g14 and loved it, but I didn't like how small the screen was, and the performance wasn't quite there yet. This G16 is the best laptop I have ever owned by far. If your looking at laptops in late 2024, this is the one to get. If you don't care about the OLED screen, and want extra performance, the Lenovo legion 7i is another good option. It runs a little faster and cooler, but it has a worse screen and slightly more bulky.

Not only has it been running all the newest games smoothly, it has a lot of cool customizable options that also just make it feel a little more personal than other lap tops.

Overall, it’s a decent computer, but it falls short in several key areas, especially for a gaming laptop 4070 with 100W TGP. The cooling system is subpar, and the price is excessively high. As a work laptop, its battery life is disappointing—I can only get about 4 to 5 hours of use with moderate workloads. While the product description claims it supports PD fast charging, connecting it to my 100W charger results in unstable power flow, causing severe lag and making it practically unusable. I’ve never encountered such issues with my Lenovo Legion 7i. At a price point of $2000, I could easily buy both a MacBook Pro and a gaming laptop with an RTX 4060. For these reasons, I can’t recommend this computer unless you’re looking to try something new.

I like macbook pro hardware but absolutely hate the macos. I wanted soemthing that was very similar to apple hardware but doesnt cost that much. This was the perfect laptop for me. Honestly the laptop is 200$ more costlier that what it should be but it was worth it.

This is my first new laptop in 10 years is so worth it especially with a sale. I was between this and the 14 inch one but opted for this cause of the 240hz and amd zen 5 card and it did not disappoint. Love the sound and image quality and play the games I want with no issue. My only complaint is no Ethernet port but I knew that going into the purchase

ASUS - ROG Zephyrus G16 16" OLED 240Hz Gaming Laptop - Copilot+ PC - AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX - 32GB Memory - NVIDIA RTX 4070 - 2TB I'm a graphic media producer, not a heavy gamer, so my focus is a little different for this laptop, where processing speed, storage, and screen clarity are important to me. I've only had it a week, so it's still new to me and I'm going slowly at loading software to it, so I may have more to report in the future, but for now - it is unbelievably awesome! Pros: Gorgeous screen display, fast processing, 2 TB storage, awesome sound quality. This a very impressive computer and should take me into the next 5 years with no concerns about struggling with technology. I would highly recommend it (if you can afford it) Battery life is also impressive as I work over 6 hours on projects. My cons on this are minor but should be stated. Cons: too few USB ports (only one) headphone jack (small - had to get an adaptor) number keypad (not there) I make more typing errors because the keyboard is not quite the same without the keypad So thin that I'm worried about transporting it without more padding in my carrying case

This is the best laptop I’ve ever owned to this date. I know it has its own pros and cons, but the value that comes with this laptop surpassed everything else in my opinion. I plan to use this device for school and gaming purposes. I got no complaints so far with this device besides the temperature gets toasty when I play Triple A titles.

This is basically exactly what I wanted in a laptop - runs cool on battery (on silent mode, that is), good performance, premium feel, etc. The reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there are some quality control issues - I returned this laptop and got another one because of some warping in the screen (it does not sit flush with the chassis), and the second one had the same warping. I'm just going to live with it because I like the laptop, but a bit disappointing nonetheless.

Great laptop. Fast, great graphics, and is the slickest laptop on the market. Better processor than Mac highly recommend switching if you can take the first week to relearn the ins and outs of windows as well as you know Mac’s system.

This is a great laptop. As far as gaming laptops go, it's hard to do better in this price. There seem to be a wide range of options in the Zephyrus line, so let me explain why one would pick this model. For one, the Ryzen AI 9 processor allows the use of native Windows Copilot features for AI workflows. This also means it has the Copilot button to the right of the spacebar instead of the second Ctrl key. This may or may not make a difference to you. To compensate for this however, this model has a Fn lock key which some of the previous or Intel models do not, so it makes using the F keys easier. I also found this model to run cooler and a little bit quieter than the previous intel models. This only goes up to an RTX 4070 so you'll have to go Intel if you want a more powerful GPU for now, but they include a 2TB drive which is nice since the other Intel models only have a 1TB model. Overall, this is a nice laptop that kind of lives in the Goldilocks zone, especially when it goes on sale.

Not Significantly Better Than My 3080 RTX

My old rig was a 3080 RTX with similar specs as this rig and in comparison it is not significantly impressive enough to warrant its price tag. The monitor display is supposedly superior to my last rig but visually I’m not seeing a difference in gaming or movies; at times it’ll just readjust the brightness to dull despite me having manually set my preferences - which is annoying and frankly shouldn’t be happening. The mousepad is slightly bigger on this one, keyboard is low profile so if you’re gaming and need the qwerty/WASD layout, this isn’t great for that. The “white” casing looks better online in pics than it does in person - if you have the option get BLACK. There’s no apparent way to turn off the light feature on the back of the monitor casing and it’s a constant flashing light show which is extremely bright and vivid. I’d say skip this and save your money for a better upgrade if you’re coming from the ASUS Zephyrus 3080 RTX, but if you’re coming from something much lower end, this’ll probably blow you away.

I upgraded from the asus zephyrus g15 and this laptop runs everything I do way smoother with lower temperatures. I use it to game and to edit videos, and it easily handles everything I throw at it. While gaming, I usually hit around 80-85C, which is still pretty hot, but my g15 used to hit 90+ easily with the same games. I'm still trying to see if I can do some adjustments to lower the temps while gaming, but so far this laptop has been running really well and I love it.

First the sleep mode takes a good min to kick in.sometimes even after that, itll turn on the fans like its on while its closed.had some issues where the screen would randomly turn black and i would have to reboot. Some update fixed that issue. I wish armory crate was better. To change modes from standard to performance requires a reboot and its annoying to do that everytime when i want to save battery on work task days.wish battery was better. Other then that it performed solid. Hopefully updates makes everything better.
