the laptop is well worth it, beware it does get very hot (92-96 degrees with boost )but and ram is soldered, besides that it perfomes well , has an amazing screen and audio and impressive specs!

Great laptop. OLED screen is amazing. Runs just about anything I would want to run on a mobile device. Super thin and light for a gaming laptop. Great keyboard and touch pad.

The computer is perfect for gaming. It has an incredible screen and so bright colors. The only bad thing is that you can not upgrade the memory ram. It is solded. So that is the only cons.

The functionality of the laptop is top. It runs the games my husband wants to play and the screen is so nice! However, our only problem is that it gets really really hot. He had to buy an additional fan may to put the laptop on to keep it at a reasonable temperature, which is still really warm, and if he is using it away from the mat, it has to shut it down often to keep it from overheating. Temperature is the only flaw with this laptop.

Well built laptop with an impressive display. Features a sturdy chassis, responsive trackpad, comfortable keyboard, and great speakers. Battery life is great during non-intensive tasks (easily 8-9 hours with media playback/web browsing) and charges up very quickly. The main drawback is the 16GB soldered RAM. While quite fast, it is not upgradable. I would recommend this product not as a gaming laptop, but as high quality laptop that is capable of running games. Thermals are quite hot during intensive tasks but I have yet to see the CPU/GPU surpass 95 degrees. Do yourself a favor by removing the ASUS Armoury-Crate bloatware and using G-Helper in it's place to keep the fans of this RTX 4070 model completely off in silent/eco mode. Overall this laptop is a solid product despite the RAM limitations. Dimensions are near identical to a 16 inch MacBook Pro so you have broad options of protective cases/sleeves.

This laptop is an excellent choice for AI researchers like myself, thanks to its powerful specifications and lightweight design. It also doubles as a great gaming machine. The screen quality is impeccable, and it offers the flexibility to add an additional SSD up to 2TB. The only drawback I've encountered is the inability to upgrade the RAM, which could be a limitation for some users.

Purchased 3 other laptops before I landed on this one. I had issues with screens, overheating, and bios issues with every other laptop ranging from $1k to $3k but this one has been excellent without a single one of those issues. It has the perfect balance of GPU, CPU, and screen resolution and is light enough to travel but powerful enough to game on hotel TVs. Simply the perfect balance. I have also upgraded the RAM to 32gb and storage to 2tb making it perfect for me at an awesome price.

Battery life is much better than most laptops I have used, competing with even a MacBook but providing much more performance than apple could ever provide in a 16' laptop which I use daily as an engineering student. Although, it does run a little hot and loud, which can be a bother but there is nothing that can be done since it is quite thin and its typical for laptops to run hot. Highly recommend buying this or the 2025 version for everyday needs, even if you are not an engineering student.

This laptop is a joy to use. I compared a lot of choices before going with the ROG Zephrus and I don’t regret it. The screen is gorgeous which makes it so much fun to watch movies and to play games on. The keyboard feels great and responds well. And the body of the laptop is so slim and light— it’s extremely portable. The only qualm is that the cooling system could be better. The computer can run a bit hot, which makes the fans run at max speeds while playing certain games. I’ve tried to mitigate this by using a laptop cooling pad with additional fans. But besides that, I am very, very happy with my purchase. Oh, and picking up from Best Buy was the easiest thing ever. Definitely would recommend.

I love this thing. I needed a new laptop to support my laziness with gaming all over my home. I haven't happened upon any issues since purchase. I've played a range of games from arpgs like Last Epoch and D4, to my chill games like My time at sandrock and coral island. It has run them all just fine. It just gets a bit hot under hand but not the keyboard / touchpad area. the media keys get VERY hot but I don't really touch that part while gaming. The speakers... are the best speakers I've heard in a laptop in years. I haven't owned a Mac since 2015 so idk bout those things. My razor 15 before this was decent. When I played my music side by side I was shocked okay. It was day and night. The battery is way better than my old razerblade so it's good enough for me. Even after replacing the battery it would last like 4 hours max just chilling. This lasts like 8~9 or more hours with g helper. Just long enough for me to choose to watch a TV or go game at my dedicated machine. This was a good purchase for me. If it craps the bed early I'll see if I can update this. Oh and the screen is good.

Such an amazing looking laptop. Performance and quality of build is top-notch. This will definitely be used for some gaming and more on work for my upcoming engineering classes. My favorite about this laptop is definitely the sound— it’s wonderful! Battery life does get me through the day, maximizing around 6-9 hours (around an hour if you’re gaming on battery), depending on the percentage of battery it’s charged and how you use it (gaming on battery versus light tasks, such as web browsing, videos, etc.)

The laptop came in great condition the shipping was great. I would recommend messing with the settings a bit before running some heavy games. The computer can stutter a bit and gameplay can be choppy if not in the correct settings. It can get very hot so try keeping it in a cool place or buy a cooler for it to avoid damage in the long run. Besides that it has a beautiful display screen. Good computer.

As a computer builder since the Quake 3 days, this machine is a monster. Picked up an open box and feel like I stole it. OLED screen has crispy clean colors. Decent battery life when not in discreet GPU mode, but when gaming battery is typical, around an hour. I filled the second m.2 slot with a 2 TB Samsung 990 Evo pro and now have more storage than I know what to do with.

I loved everything about this laptop. The OLED screen which provides the best image quality and colors and the quality of the device is outstanding. But, I had two issues which are important to me and it should be for all gamers; First thing is the Ram is unupgradable so you have to buy the 32gb Ram laptop to get what you want, as a gamer, 16 isn’t enough for me. The second issue is that, there is no Lan port, whatt?! This port is important to make internet stable and I faced internet spikes which never occured on other laptops with Lan. To be honest, I thing the laptop is made to a work or school laptop with maximum performance and the gaming part (GPU) is added lastly. Though, I will return the laptop, better laptop with this price can be found.

Runs smooth, plays any game I throw at it, very portable and the OLED is next level.

Simply amazing. Lightweight,slim great build quality. I use a macbook for work and this for gaming i feel no difference in quality. The keyboard is just the right size for me and the speakers are amazing for a laptop. Im able to run all my games on the highest quality (Manorlords, ESO). It does get hot as expected but a simple laptop cooling fan works great. The OLED screen has made me upgrade all my tvs and computer monitors to OLED. For the sale price an amazing deal! Deffinately recommend.

The ONLY reason I’m going to give this laptop 3 stars is cause the amount of ram you get for the price.. they keyboard feels great, trackpad is great & the performance isn’t the best compared to other laptops with similar spec but, the trade off is a bright & vivid OLED display. Honestly I returned my model & got the Alienware M16 R2 with an ultra 7 CPU & I upgraded the ram and added an additional SSD.. I couldn’t be happier so far.

I have been using this laptop for about a month now and it has exceeded my expectations. Setup was quick and easy, The performance is smooth, apps run super fast and multitasking is seamless. The display is vivid and crisp. Overall, I highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a high performing laptop at a reasonable price.
