Also I like the feature to be able to adjust the speed of the fans of the laptop depending on what you want to do with the laptop. The OLED display is also fantastic and watching movies and videos on this laptop is a thing of beauty

Complaint is it generates loud fan noise and tends to heat up. Had to get another keyboard and have laptop on stand with additional fan.

Gets pretty hot to the touch above the F keys when gaming but nothing shows temps that would be dangerously high for components or thermal throttling. Google GSuite. Use it to replace all the Asus branded management software. WAY less resource intensive.

Then when I need a moment to play a game. It works flawlessly and no skipping or issues. It gets a little warm, but have it on a desk or a platform if in you lap.

Completely unacceptable. The laptop itself is pretty good. However, the ultra 9 185h is the bottleneck in a lot of games even on the 4070 model. The CPU can hit upwards of 95c as well unless wattage is adjusted which exacerbates the bottleneck. Despite this performance is more than playable. This laptop is super thin for the power it has and the OLED screen is GORGEOUS if not for the issues mine came with. When it arrived I immediately threw in an 8tb SSD which will fit in the slot the default SSD comes in so I simply swapped which slot the default SSD used and it works like a charm. Main disappointments are the Ultra 9 processor and the dust and scratches my open box-excellent came with. Noticable scratches etched onto the screen is not excellent condition best buy. I feel ripped off.

We certainly understand your disappointment with the quality of the product you received from your seller. Normally, we recommend to contact your seller for a resolution if an open box laptop in excellent condition was received with deep scratches and dust. Regarding your concern about thermal issues, it is normal for laptop, with the same hardware configuration and regardless of the manufacturer, to generate more heat than normal while under heavy load especially during gaming, WINDOWS Update and antivirus scan. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full throttle. Please ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions in order to have an efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. While gaming, please ensure no system resource-hungry applications, processes and services are running in the background, this will definitely spike the temperature. The heat or temperature does decreases or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down. I bough an open box unit while it was already on a huge discount so it was a STEAL and also a no brained to pick it up. I highly recommend picking up this power laptop that plays literally any game at 240 fps with no problem. I also recommend looking into what G-Helper is for better software experience!

GeForce RTX 4070 are a step above mid-tier hardware and are offered here at a reasonable price compared to other "gaming laptops." - Performance. I've been able to play the newest and biggest games all on high / very high settings. I've had no issues, and I feel as if the games look and play great. - Upgradability. I've NOT upgraded my machine as I don't want to void the warranty. - Wifi. I get SIGNIFICANTLY better wireless Internet speeds on this device than the older gaming laptop I replaced. Did not expect that, but was pleasantly surprised. - Sounds. Speakers sound good enough. Music through Spotify is crisp and bass gets picked up okay too. Cons: - Battery life. When casually scrolling the internet or lightly using it can last 8 hours, playing games can affect these numbers amounts by a noticeable difference. Thats common. - Startup sound. Is a quick sword noise: okay. - Camera. seems ok. - Ports. Good enough for me and has everything I needed. However, some people might wish for more options. Conclusion: You should buy the laptop if your looking for a good OLED screen and that handle heavy apps, gaming, entertainment, or for work. I would recommend it to anyone, 5 stars!

When I started a game(dota), yes it launched but the screen turned black, it happens a few times. So started using it in ultimate mode (only dgpu). I will have it checked once I go back to the us this summer. Other than that no problems.
