Whether for productivity or gaming, everything feels seamless and responsive. However, there are two notable downsides. First, the laptop gets extremely hot even during light tasks. It’s something you’ll notice pretty quickly, even without running demanding games. Second, the battery life leaves much to be desired. Despite its portability, it simply doesn’t last long enough on a single charge. If you’re okay with keeping it plugged in and investing in a cooling pad, it’s an amazing choice. Otherwise, be prepared for some thermal and battery compromises.

I have the Alienware M17 R3 and bought this Asus for my daughter now that she’s into PC gaming. This laptop runs so smooth, really good battery life, and so lightweight in comparison! My boyfriend who is also a hardcore gamer was in need of a new laptop and immediately purchased one for himself once he tried hers out! Great price for the quality.

This laptop has been my favorite device in years. It can game well or it can have alot of battery life. - amazing oled display - good battery - amazing speakers Does get very hot but its within spec.

I was really amazed by how light the computer felt given its size, something I was very happy about. Never the less it also feels quite sturdy and firm. A quite pleasant surprise! So far I like its speed as well the feeling of its keyboard and mousetrack

I was one of those people looking and researching for about a month for a gaming laptop. At first I bought the alineware m16 because ive had an alienware a51 laptop with no issues, but something about the m16 I couldn’t get myself to like it. Don’t get me wrong its a fine machine but like any other laptop it has alot of bloatware (I know you can uninstall it if you want). If you are going to add a bunch of programs and apps Dell the least you can do is have it work and useable. After returning and getting this Asus instead it was the best choice I made. Sucks that you can’t upgrade the RAM (be aware of this before purchase since RAM is integraded into the system). You shouldn’t need a lot of RAM for basic use and gaming. The screen and refresh rate make my games look beautiful with the OLED screen. If you put the settings to balanced or battery saver the laptop doesnt get too hot. Even when I put the game in performance mode while gaming (on a cooling pad) its not too bad. Keyboard feels good. Software actually works and lets you customize your laptop with ease.

Premium feeling laptop, amazing screen. The best part about this one was the audio system! The laptop would get hot just from watching netflix though. Additionally, the fans started making an extreme buzzing noise about 6 months into ownership.

First open box couldn't stay booted. BSOD Galore. Second one runs fantastic, albeit a little noisy and hot with certain programs. Overall great bang for the buck. Disply is top notch.

Fast, beautiful vibrant screen and images. Runs a bit hot, put a fan pad under it. Needed very little setup out of the box. Lighter weight than my previous laptop. Powerful for work and play.

I’ve been using the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed. The laptop is great if you know for sure that you don’t need more than 16gb of RAM and RTX 4070. The screen is beautiful, the machine is light and well-built. It’s pretty solid for a windows laptop. When operating under battery, it’s slight warm on the underneath but not intense. When plugged in, the fans are a little loud when gaming with AAA titles, however, it is expected to keep the laptop cool and not throttling. I played Halo Infinite with High settings and everything is smooth. I don’t count fps but probably 200, or so it seems. I ended up returning it only because I needed more Ram, 32 gb at least. Overall, great computer for the price paid ($1,699 on sale)

Great laptop, very fast and as far gaming laptop it can handle most games no sweat! Only downside it does get pretty hot so I recommend a cooling fan. Great displays and the light effects are awesome

Great laptop for gaming and multitasking! The only issue I had is that if the computer is under heavy loads and is on your lap. The CPU and GPU temps can get a little high. Also, I wish they put at least a 24gb or 32gb kit of ram in this computer instead of only 16, it would be better for multitasking. Other than those points, the computer is absolutely wonderful! The overall quality of the screen is next level for a laptop and its 240hz refresh rate is an added bonus as well. Overall a great machine.

Love it! Easy to expand the Ssd. Fast! Super clear display. The battery last a long time. I do video editing. Blog. And stream and it handles it well! Highly recommend it! If you are new on laptops you CANNOT go wrong with this one.

amazing feeling laptop. Basically a macbook with a dedicated graphics card. I love how slim and portable this machine is. The speakers, screen, keyboard, and trackpad are all a step above what you would normally get from a windows laptop. This thing can game as well. And even though the fans are on the louder side, a pair of headphones helped block that out.

This laptop was amazing. The oled on this was like Silk on the eyes It looked at.I just couldn't get past the Soldered non upgradable ram at only 16 gb Also I needed something a little bit more better for AAA games. Although it did play them decent, but I like to play vr, so this was kind of a struggle with the rtx 4070 So I had to return it. I bought the Predator helios 18 4090 for almost $2000 more that handles the type of gaming I do better but I really do miss the Zephyrus 16 because screen and sound Quality, which I forgot to mention the sound on it was also amazing.

Laptop has good build quality. I’d say it is up there with a MacBook. The screen is really great. Very nice vivid colors and 240hz looks and feels smooth. You will experience some heat in certain areas such as above the keyboard and the bottom, which is a cause for concern. I do wish the laptop made a little kickstand bump at the bottom when opening to allow more air flow. If you play a game and it’s just lying on the table or bed, heat just gets trapped in the pc and doesn’t really have much place to go. I also feel the computer just doesn’t feel as snappy as I would like. I have an hp victus in laptop with less specs that feels just as snappy if not better. Overall I would say to wait for a good deal before purchasing. Don’t buy at the regular price.

Solid gaming laptop. Beautiful display with amazing (built in) speakers. Battery life is great especially with battery health on. Best purchase I made.

the laptop is well worth it, beware it does get very hot (92-96 degrees with boost )but and ram is soldered, besides that it perfomes well , has an amazing screen and audio and impressive specs!

The functionality of the laptop is top. It runs the games my husband wants to play and the screen is so nice! However, our only problem is that it gets really really hot. He had to buy an additional fan may to put the laptop on to keep it at a reasonable temperature, which is still really warm, and if he is using it away from the mat, it has to shut it down often to keep it from overheating. Temperature is the only flaw with this laptop.
