Good laptop, just dont expect a full rtx4080 performance. Since it’s super thin it won’t feed a lot of power to the cpu and gpu

Bought for my child who needed the extra RAM and VRAM for software he uses in college design classes. He likes that it’s thinner than other gaming computers. This met the recommend requirements for Lumion.

Decent laptop, I returned the for G16 4090, I was looking for more performance but in the end I returned the G16 again for the new Razer blade 16 OLED

Every time I try to play Cyberpunk 2077 while connected to an external monitor (LG C2 42 Oled), the laptop gets extremely hot above the keyboard. So hot I can't touch it. After about 10 minutes, the entire laptop shuts down. All of the drivers are up-to-date, so I am not sure what is going on. I am not happy though, this purchase was over $3000 and this shouldn't be happening. :(

This laptop is amazing super lightweight and to have this much power in it is amazing while also looking very sleek and professional. Love it gaming on it has been amazing !!

It’s a good laptop, great screen, great performance. Only bad things are the battery life and the trackpad is only ok.

Loved it while i had it only reason i got rid of it is because i travel for work and stay at alot of remote locations with little to no wifi and hotspot only does so much for gaming

I purchased this laptop less than five months ago, thrilled by the specs and features - only to end up entirely disappointed. I'll skip to the important part first - one day, I opened my bag to find my laptop screen broken. I didn't hit it or damage it in any particular way. I always kept it in a soft carrying case. Even still, it ended up damaged. I gave it to best buy to send off to be repaired. A few weeks later, I came to pick up my laptop, only to discover that they had not fixed it. Instead, they REFUSED. They informed me that this particular model of laptop breaks so frequently that they were UNWILLING to fix it for any price. Apparently, most of the time, when this laptop breaks, it breaks again within a few weeks. Now, I am left with a two thousand dollar brick that I am unable to use. Due to this incident, I am unable to give this laptop a positive review. Learn from my mistake. Do yourself a favor and buy a machine that is sturdy, durable, and if it breaks, Best Buy will actually give you a quote to repair it!

Solid Windows PC with macbook esqe vibe/feel. But battery life still leaves much to be desired (about 3 hours on one charge)

Light, powerful with an amazing screen and battery life. It is worth the extra you're paying for the 4080 and vapor chamber.

Laptop runs a bit hot but the performance is decent for its size. Timespy score on Turbo: 14,922. Definitely rivals some lower to mid end gaming PCs

Best gaming experience on-the-go by far! I made the move from console gaming to PC gaming about 8 years ago. I have always had a desktop set up, but three years ago I wanted to see how a laptop compared, but immediately returned it because the laptop did not even come close to the desktop performance. Fast forward to now, and I am happy to be surprised by the performance of this ASUS ROG ZephyrusG16 with a 4080. I had a scheduled trip to Barcelona, Spain, and so I thought it would be the perfect occasion to bring this with me to casually game in my downtime, and honestly, it’s on-par with my 4070 that I have on my desktop set up. For games such as FIFA and F1, I don’t really see any performance drops compared to my desktop set up, and for Warzone/CoD which is the most demanding multiplayer I play with friends, it honestly surpassed my expectations. On multiplayer 5v5, I was getting a consent fps of 120-140 with the recommended settings. It looked beautiful so I really didn’t play with the settings much. For Warzone, It was close to 90 and 100fps, and keep in mind this is with the internet from my hotel. I was very happy I could jump in for a couple of games with my friends regardless of the difference in time zones. Now here is just a quick overall score based on my experience using this beautiful laptop in a little over a week. Performance 5/5 – like I mentioned, it surpassed my expectations of what a gaming laptop can do nowadays. Using a mouse and the built-in keyboard allowed me to game COMPETIVELY on the go, and I have not had this experience before. I can’t say my girlfriend loves the idea of me bringing my gaming set up to our vacations, but with this I can jump on a quick game when I have some downtime. The computer feels fast, responsive. Design 5/5 – the major reason why I have stayed away from windows laptops is because they were seriously not appealing to me when it came to the design. I always wondered when more laptops would start using the unibody aluminum, and it looks like the time is now. I never had a laptop that gave me productivity and gaming flexibility in such an elegant design. I don’t want to scream to the world that I have a gaming device with RGB in every corner, and so this design fits me. I actually changed the keyboard color to a simple white and it looks fantastic. Classic. Portability 5/5 Some may argue that a 16in is not that portable, but I just traveled through Spain with this on my backpack and had zero issues. Yes, the charger is bulkier than what I prefer, but no deal breaker for me. Display 5/5 – Once I got an OLED TV, I knew this was the technology for me, but oh boy do games look different in OLED monitors. And none of the games I am playing on this can reach the 240hz, the fact that it’s a 240hz makes me feel like the framerates look better than on my 175hz monitor for my desktop set up. OLED really does complement the beautiful design they went with. Thermals and Fan Noise 4/5 – this is the only area where I won’t give this a 5 out of 5. The laptop can get hot on the top of the keyboard during demanding games even for short periods of time, but using AWSD, I never felt a pinch of hot at all. They managed to keep it away from the keys that one would normally use. For the fans, yes they can get loud even when you aren’t playing hard core games, and maybe this is a setting I need to figure out, but when you’re gaming just be ready to turn the volume all the way up or wear headphones to block out the fan noise. All in all, I love this gaming laptop that really doesn’t look like a gaming laptop, it looks nice, professional, and stealthy, and this is perfect for me. I recommend this to anyone looking for a laptop or even to someone deciding between a laptop or a desktop set up. This will give you a similar performance, at least with the games that I mentioned. For now, I am keeping both this laptop and my gaming desktop, but I wouldn’t be surprised if decided to sell my desktop in the future because this performed so good.

Speakers were distorted and games always ran choppy. Overall beautiful screen but not worth the issues for the price.
