jp and zach directed me to this gem and loaded it up with every upgrade possible i think. my wife and i couldn't be happier. lightning fast, beautiful screen, light as a feather, very thin. highly recommended even thou we don't game i like it better than my dell 17xps.

Seriously, the Rolls Royce of gaming laptops. Super glad I went with the ultra 9 185h RTX 4080 model! No issues on my end whatsoever! Has exceeded my expectations. The screen, my GOD, the OLED panel is pretty high quality on this thing. The colors are pretty unmatched especially when paired to LED, or IPS displays. Another smash hit from ASUS! The only issue I really have is the battery life. But, when you pair a machine with an RTX 4080 and an ultra 9 185h, you're prone to low battery life. I've made it last almost 10 hours but that's WITH power save settings on, no slash lighting, no keyboard lighting, etc. All around 7/10 laptop.

If you know what you're looking for than this laptop will blow you away. After a week of HEAVY use and really putting it through the paces I've been greatly impressed. Aside from being impossibly thing and just beautifully designed, fan noise is super super low from other similar style laptops. Even setting fans to max via the custom profile it barely breaks 50-51db, which is good because you will need that max fan setting for some more demanding games. Temps remain well within good ranges, GPU very rarely breaking 85C and CPU staying under 93C to avoid throttling (CPU does seem to get hotter than would be expected in some applications but never worrisome and to be expected with a less powerful chipset). The cherry on top is screen, I've never been super into bleeding edge tech you usually get from higher end models but it is genuinely gorgeous and makes a notable difference. Only things I can really know it for is palm rejection on the (very very very large) touchpad isn't the best, but hasn't been a major issue so far, and the keyboard backlight. For a unit with in spitting distances of the 3k price point to have single zone RGB backlighting is just silly.

I love it so much its my favorite entertainment device i have ever owened. The screen is so good, battery life is awesome i ws able to play gta4 with eco mode pretty crazy. I love how thin it is i got the laptop mainly got it for travel but now i use more then my desktop. Its juts such a cool device

Asus cooked when they designed this laptop, and it's practically future-proof due to the powerful hardware packed into this thing, and all into a thin & light design (and boy is it thin!). It should also be noted that the speakers on this laptop sound insanely good, the sound quality rival Apple's Macbook speakers, which are known to sound amazing. I think the star of the Zephyrus is the 16-inch 240hz OLED display. Packed together with the RTX 4080 GPU and the Core Ultra 9 CPU, the Zephyrus makes for an insanely good gaming experience. Wi-fi is super fast on a wi-fi 6/6e network. The Zephyrus G16 checks all the boxes that make for a good gaming laptop. You can'r go wrong with the ROG Zephyrus G16 and I highly recommend it.

Fantastic laptop in every aspect. Powerful, light, thin, long battery life, and top-notch build quality. Best laptop screen I've ever seen. Keyboard, touchpad, and speakers are all high quality. The only thing I think could be improved would be the inclusion of a haptic touchpad but it still gets five stars.

Great laptop if you want power + portability. Similar specs can be had for $400-500 cheaper on other brands if you don’t care about the latter. Battery life can range widely from just 4-5 hours to 9-10 on similar work loads and entirely depends on how the intel chip is feeling that day.

I have been using this for the past couple of months not for gaming but more for programming and running LLMs, I have to say this does not disappoint. It runs everything smoothly whether it is for gaming, programming, or just leisure use.

The performance on my unit was rather middling for a 4080 laptop, not much better than a 4070. I imagine this could've been resolved with some work; the GPU wasn't thermal throttling at all. But the creaking... the bottom panel and the hinges creak so badly. The aluminum chassis feels great, and the display and speakers are incredible, but the quality control is unacceptable for a laptop this expensive, and I have found these build quality faults repeatedly in ROG laptops I've bought.

Good laptop, solid specs, beautiful display can run almost any game perfectly. It has some minor issues which i can look past, the fan noises are quite loud but with headphones it shouldnt be an issue, and the speakers are very good quality and loud so that also counterracts the noise of the fans. The heat of the laptop is quite a lot as well, as expected of a higher power machine, it may not be comfortable to use on a lap but as a portable desktop its fantastic. The performance drops significantly when not plugged in as expected but the reduction in framerate is frustrating.

Runs great. When running games on high settings fans get loud but shouldn’t be an issue while using headset.

I’ve bought a lot of tech in my life, but this ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 from Best Buy is next-level. The OLED screen is unreal—super crisp, super smooth. Everything just flies on this thing. The RTX 4080 and Intel Ultra 9 combo handles anything I throw at it. Gaming, editing, multitasking it doesn’t even flinch. Best Buy made it easy too. Fast shipping, great packaging, and the staff actually knew what they were talking about. Honestly, this is why I keep coming back. You guys crushed it. Best laptop I’ve ever owned. Period.

Its my first gaming laptop and honestly from what i can tell its great! I love the picture and it seems fairly simple to use. I will say it seems like the battery doesnt last as long as id like wnd the fan can be a bit noisy at times thats the only reason i cant give it a full 5 stars

I got this about two weeks ago. Overall, it been fast, quiet, and the OLED looks amazing. Unfortunately, I'm already seeing bad pixels that blink red and there have been a few blue screens. I think I just got a bad one and I would be absolutely exchange for another one if it were available. Since they're not, I'm exchanging for the 2025 with the 5070ti and hopefully have better luck with that one.

The laptop is actually amazing. Super sleek design and does great in games for its form factor. The major pitfall is its cpu. It heats up way too quickly, it bottlenecks the gpu, and there are stutters in games which I believe is because of the cpu as well. Other than that, the fans do get pretty loud, but that's expected. Overall the laptop is great but removing 2 stars solely because of its cpu.

Slim and powerful laptop, I'm very happy with it so far, the OLED screen is gorgeous, maybe the best OLED laptop with these specification for the price, with the RTX 3080 (got it on sale)
