Good laptop to used and play gaming at ultra graphics

It’s sleek! For the money, it gets the job done. Would have been nice to get a better gpu, but that would have meant another $200-300 for a 2060 which just barely out performs the 1660ti while drawing a ton more power. Runs VR games decently and is pretty fast for everyday normal usage for school and work.

It does as advertised...no problems and easy set up.

So far, I love this laptop. While not a gamer, this gaming laptop has been great for video editing; the primary purpose that I chose this model. While a bit on the larger size (I kind of wanted something a bit smaller), it has proven to be reliable, fast, and does exactly what I need it to do.

It was a gift for my 11 year old son and he really loves it and uses it all the time. No complaints at all and it was very easy to set up and use he figured it out by himself even. So I would recommend it to any other parents looking to get their kids a gaming laptop without spending 3000!

Switching from a gaming laptop with a traditional Hard Drive to the ROG Zephyrus with its Solid State Drive was the best computing decision I've made in a long time. Startup time has dropped to almost zero and so far this machine is living up to it's reputation better than my last 2 or 3 laptops combined.

It works amazingly, my bf and I use them everyday. These laptops I would definitely recommend for someone who is new to gaming on pc. I am new to it and it is pretty easy to get the hang of. The colors of the keyboard are vibrant and I love it. There is so many things you can do with it.

This laptop is perfect for everyday use. Whether is searching the web, watching a show or playing a game, it does it all. It has no flaws. If I had to nitpick, it does bios updates regularly but I don’t really see it as a negative. Just odd it does so many so close together. Overall, great purchase!

The laptop I was sent wouldn't run on battery power. Couldn't update BIOS firmware because battery wasn't detected--ASUS designed the laptop to not allow updating of firmware unless battery power >= 20%. Updating the BIOS firmware most likely would've fixed the battery problem. Windows 10 OS showed battery power at 255% percent, but myASUS diagnostics tool showed no battery. Attempted using ASUS EZ Flash utility and various other methods that I researched to no avail. Finally, called ASUS tech support and they couldn't help me fix the issue, so I returned the laptop. My only other complaints about the laptop design are that keyboard keys are difficult to press. It's a decent gaming laptop and it's a shame it's seemingly defective and the BIOS firmware is impossible to update.

This is my 1st gaming laptop it works wonderful the only downside to it is that the brightness is not as bright. Also to play Call of Duty I've noticed that my frame per 2nd worked tremendously better when I have it plugged in comparative to when they're not plugged in.

I'm not a gamer. I use this laptop for video editing and event live streaming. It works very well when using Premiere Pro to edit 4K video. I replaced a older, slower Dell laptop that had inferior graphics processing, the Asus ROG works much better.

I love this laptop! I edit music videos, wedding videos, ect and I shoot with a Sony A7iii and this laptop has no issues! It looks great & even tho its a plastic body it feels really nice. Asus delivered!

I had to return it. This product unfortunately just couldn't hold up. I really wanted to love this laptop. Aesthetically, this is the best looking laptop I have seen. Especially for the price. However, I just couldn't bring myself to keep it. I continuously ran into issues while running 3d applications. I also had a crash issue on initial update install. I would have just swapped it for a new one but I had the same issue the the Zephyrus 14 with the ryzen 9. I ended up with the MSI GS66 stealth. I really didn't want this laptop because it just didn't compare to the Zephyrus lineup, but I am able to run a 34" ultra wide ips hdr monitor and my Cintiq 16 while streaming from my Aluratek 4k. Truly impressed with the msi. Don't judge a book by its cover I guess.

Love this laptop. Unsurprisingly, the battery life is not great, maybe 4 hours of use on balanced power. The only thing I will say as a negative, is they chose to put the speakers on the bottom of the laptop which muddles sound sometimes, especially when it's not on a solid surface.

Grabbed this for my son to replace his HP desktop (graphics card issues - will replace that soon), but also for college use if he needed to have it in class. It works great on gaming and all the other software he has for graphic design stuff.

A little powerful machine for beginners. My kiddo loves it. We had the Nitro but the power supply failed and Best Buy came through with another. Fans kick in pretty hard with graphics card taking in a lot of motion but gaming hasn’t lagged. Great buy for starters.

Was only okay, ran hot and hated the orientation of the power port(middle left side). If it had been on the left or the back, I would've forgiven the heat and kept it. The orientation might work for some, just not for me.

Had everything I needed as far as a laptop goes but the speakers were a disappointment. The keyboard layout is important to me as well. I like when they have a numeric keypad on the right side. This one was also not as quiet as other laptops it was fairly loud.

Bought this for my son. They said it would play any game fine except some of the latest graphics heavy games. That’s a matter of opinion I guess. All in all, a great computer, but I wouldn’t really classify it as a gaming computer.
