I really appreciate this gift from my mother my first ever gaming pc and i will cherish it i downloaded 3 games in one hour it runs smoothly

Good first gaming laptop

I've only blue screened twice and the graphics card is wonderful. I'm a pretty heavy gamer and so far it has held up just fine. I also use music software and there have been absolutely no problems. Hope this helps!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this as a Christmas gift and it is insanely good. It runs Rainbow six on ultra graphics at 100+fps. So far the only downside is the fans being a bit loud but it can be set to silent mode so its fine.

Doesn’t work after 3-4 months

Up until last week I noticed that I was having major frame rate drops in most games. Today the computer shut off and will not turn on.

2. Press and hold the power button for 1 full minute
3. Plug in only the charger and start up normally

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The fan design in this product is high risk for suffering from a buzzing due to the special fan design asus made to separate themselves from the competitors and lack of lubrication put into the fans during construction. If you youtube search "asus fan buzzing" you will see Asus gaming laptops that use the same special fan design suffering from this horrific buzzing. My device was fine for about 2 months before this started occurring. There is no lint or dust obstructing the airways inside or out. Geek squad confirmed this after examining and opening my device and were a puzzled. This will definitely effect how long my device works for and is a frustrating reminder every time I turn it on. Overall, it was a great product until I ran into this issue that appears to be relevant across many other consumers. Hopefully Asus can help make things right as I am "out on my own" for refund window : /

Thank you for reaching out to us. We're sorry to hear about the issues you're having with this model. The noise that is emitting from the computer is known as coil whine. When the electrical current is increased to a certain point, the magnetic field around the coil can cause it to vibrate, which produces the whiny sound. After a short amount of time the noise should go away as the components regulates. However, if it is that the sound is too much for you, then we would recommend that you have this device sent in for servicing.
