More Asus Problems
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had problems with this laptop. First problem was within a few months, it wouldn't charge. Took it back to BestBuy Geek Squad and they fixed it. Now the monitor doesn't work. I can connest it to an external monitor and it works, powers on and everything but the monitor no longer works.

Great for my use
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this specifically for 3D printing uses. I ended up moving my 3D printers into my basement and needed a mobile computer to operate them since I didn't want to hike up to my 2nd floor just to make quick corrections. This laptop handles the 3D software really well and does an excellent job of transferring data to USBs and the printers themselves. My view on gaming on laptops is skewed as I have been building gaming computers for the better part of 2 decades, so please take the next section of review with a grain of salt and know that I've only deducted 1 star for this opinion based review. As far as gaming is concerned, I think it could be better. The components are all there to make this a halfway decent gaming computer, but the fact of the matter is, this is not a "laptop." The thing gets hot enough that I feel as though it could leave burns on your skin if you're not careful. You'll also need to grab yourself a mouse to use for any type of mobile gaming, so no matter how you look at it, you're going to need to set this laptop onto a table of some sort to be able to use it for mobile gaming. I just don't think that it's good enough to be a mobile gaming device and I would rather stick with the limited games on my Switch because at least I don't feel like I'm going to melt while using it. Note, while I would recommend this laptop to a friend, I would hesitate to recommend it as a gaming laptop specifically. I just want to be clear about that.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this laptop on sale during Black Friday sales. It's super fast has a 1 TB solid-state drive. Handles all the games I can throw at it. Only drawbacks is that it doesn't have a webcam.

fast and more fast
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ROG Zephyrus M15 on test today is the larger, Intel equivalent. Apart from the slight increase in size from a 14.1in display to a 15.6in one, the M15 has the same unassuming design as the G14 (minus the LED matrix display), making it one of the least gamery-looking laptops I’ve tested all year. It’s something I wouldn’t be embarrassed to get out in public, which is always a plus point in my books, and at 1.9kg and just under 20mm thick, it’s not an absolute brick, either.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Computer is very fast, screen is beautiful. ||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop but with any gaming laptop it will run hot and loud. You can make changes on the BIOS to help out.

Excellent performance notebook with loud cooling f
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a Best Buy exclusive ASUS ROG notebook model. Note that the NVIDIA RTX 2070 is the Max-Q version, meaning it is an intentionally reduced performance notebook GPU for the sake of power saving and heat reduction. Even with the Max-Q version, the performance on this laptop is great overall and can handle any 1080p game you can currently throw at it. The GPU also allows the use of RTX capabilities like ray tracing and GPU audio and video processing features with the Turing chipset. The display is great for a 15" notebook screen, and supports a 240Hz output. Colors get a little washed out at max brightness, although the contrast is good with crisp motion at higher display frequencies. There is no built in webcam, however, so those needing conference call capabilities will need to use or find/purchase an external camera. The exclusion of a 10-key number pad allows for larger keys on a 15" notebook frame. As a result, the keyboard is very comfortable for typing, even without mechanical keys. The touchpad is comparable to every other touchpad I've used, supporting the typical push or tap to click since there are no dedicated mouse buttons. A wide array of Windows 10 multi-touch controls are also supported. Typing detection works well avoiding accidental clicks while typing, and the touchpad supports disabling when an external mouse is connected. This is also a surprisingly lightweight system, feeling close to ultralight business class notebooks in weight without feeling delicate or cheap. The size reduction does come at a cost, the cooling fans are extremely loud when the CPU or GPU utilization increases. Using headphones or ear buds will help cut the noise, but it will still be noticable. The loud fans are my biggest complaint about this system. For RGB lighting enthusiasts, the keyboard supports configurable backlight modes and colors, although there is only one zone so gradients are not an option. There are also quite a few ports, including a USB 3.2 Type-A and HDMI output on the left, and a pair of USB 3.1 Type-A ports with a Thunderbolt USB-C and Ethernet port on the right. The AC adapter is a 230W brick that supports typical three prong cables to the wall, and feels about the same weight as the notebook. The plug for the laptop also has a molded 90 degree angle that gets in the way or needs to be moved for the laptop to sit on flat surfaces. This is a minor complaint, but it is frustrating to have the AC plug pop out because the plug catches on the edge of a table or lap tray when you set down the system. Overall, a great system with only minor complaints outside of the fan noise.

Extremely fast laptop!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Added 32gbs for a total of 40gbs of memory and an additional 500gb m.2 drive for additional storage. This thing rocks anything you play at max resolution settings. I'm extremely happy with it. I highly recommend putting it on a laptop cooler with fans in it while playing games as it gets hot. All slim gaming laptops get hot! Plug it in while playing games. This laptop simply is an amazing piece of technological excellence!!! If you want a great gaming laptop at a good price point buy it!!

Great but with big flaws
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great value gaming laptop plus it looks good. I love it. Some downsides though. Although the laptop itself is thin and portable for a gaming laptop, the power brick is big and bulky, but luckily you can use usb c and a high wattage charger to power it. Another con is it gets really hot. It will auto shut down and not turn on if it is too hot. If you know this and can manage it, it is a great laptop

Great Laptop for Price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is amazing for the price. I was between buying this or the G14 and am happy with my decision. The extra graphics horsepower makes all the difference. The only problem that this laptop has is that sometimes when typing you will get double presses. This problem also exists on some of my other ROG laptops as well so it seems like less of a QA issue and more of a design flaw. If they fixed this problem, I would have 0 complaints.

Good laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its quite a good laptop, got it with the black Friday deals and I'm very happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a powerful workstation and gaming on the go. One thing that could be a downside is that in order to get everything started and working fine one has to go through a bunch of udates that leave some functions not working properly for a bit, but once you get it all setup its a breeze.

ASUS - ROG Zephyrus M15 15.6" Gaming Laptop Review
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice laptop for sale price, however, the fans on this thing are very loud. Using a mic while playing games on the laptop is nearly impossible as the mic picks up the fan noise. The system appears to run pretty hot, it stays around 80c while playing Wow (which isn't very demanding). Considering returning before I encounter heat/cooling issues.

Great graphics, speed, and noise.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Powerful value laptop. However, its nicknames are fanny, falcon heavy, turbine due to the extremely loud air cooling fan (or fans, really it has to be multiple for that volume). I will say this...my hands are not cold in winter. We have had problems with the screen flashing and then going completely black several times. We have to reboot to get it back.
