Really powerful computer, games and renders well, it runs really smooth when plugged in, just a bit choppy when unplugged but runs everything super well regardless.

These thin powerful gaming computers don’t yet seem ready for prime time. Alluring concept no doubt. But there’s a reason the big MSI GT series style laptops were so big - heatpipes, large fans, ventilation, etc. Thats how you get an i7 and 2070 working together at full speed. Take all that away you’ve got an overheating crash prone, inconsistent performer. It’s light but you can’t use it on lap due to heat. The CPU throttles undermining performance potential. Games crash when taxed. And it’s not a premium build either - plastic feel, cheap keyboard, loud chintzy sounding fans, etc. I’m likely to return it and get something a bit larger with better designed thermals.

      Dear FatElvis,

I'm sorry to hear that you are unsatisfied with the thermal and acoustic performance of this laptop, along with its build quality. This is absolutely not the type of experience that we want any of our customers to have. If you have already updated your BIOS and all available Windows updates, and you continue to have thermal and acoustic concerns, I would recommend returning the unit. I will also forward your feedback to the Product team for review. If you have any general or technical questions, please email me at [email protected] and include case #N200891236 for reference.

      Thank you for choosing ASUS!

I purchases for my son his very first gaming laptop. After doing my homework and research this was the best for the quality and value of your money. The storage and memory capacity and processor with the resolution, and Intel Core i7, has all the bells and whistle’s. Talk about horse power on steroids. Super fast and SuperGOOD!

Not a terrible machine. Miss not having a webcam and about 5 months after purchase LCD has 2 dead pixels. Performs well for the money I guess but I do also have gripes with the keyboard and spacebar placement.

This laptop offers great specs and build quality for what I paid for it (~$1320 when on sale). Temperatures are acceptable, display is colorful and quick, all-magnesium body and thin design is practical. This thing runs games very, very well with the overclocked 2070MQ without sacrificing the features that allow it to be a functional general-use laptop- as long as you don't need a built in webcam. However, QC is something to look out for. The first one I got had a broken headphone jack, and both of my M15 have/had occasional coil whine when under low loads. I'd definitely recommend giving this thing a shot- if you get a good unit, you get a fantastic laptop.

Great laptop for gaming and overall monster performance. Got it during a short sale period. Primarily playing Warzone on maxed settings and hitting 80-100+ fps. CPU Runs in the 70s degrees Celcius when playing (GPU below 70 degrees C) but put it in performance mode and make sure it is 1-2 inches above a surface (X-stands...).

This laptop is used by our grandson as he's away from home and unable to utilize his desk top. Great for his schoolwork and has good gaming quality (according to him). He has been extremely pleased with his new laptop computer. Downside is it was a bit more costly than other units we could have purchased for him.

This thing is a beast! It runs super cool except for the highest stress games. Ran Valorant on this and was pretty cool. Got a little warm when trying to get the most FPS. I got this so I don’t need to upgrade into the future. Really great device only issue is there is not webcam so I am lucky I got this on a deal.

So this is a gaming laptop. It was on sale for like 1250. I bought it because I bought cyber punk and my current GPU couldn't handle it. I loved this laptop, it was amazing (and amazingly loud). I returned this laptop because it just isn't PC gaming. The display was awesome, but only 15.6" (240 hz was great though). Build yourself a nice desktop and get a 27" 144 hz display and you will be much happier if you are a PC gamer. Or, get this for playing "on the go". Just be aware that if you unplug it from the power supply it gets throttled so bad you can't play minesweeper (that's a joke, but it's really bad).

Great laptop. Specs are decent and games look great on it. The case feels a bit cheap and the screen is pretty flimsy. You'll have to treat it with care. It gets pretty hot too. Would not recommend resting on you lap.

It does everything I want it to do. Runs the games I want to play like butter. I highly recommend getting a cooling fan for under it because it WILL get hot. The speakers are nice. Screen is really good. Keyboard is very good, but I don’t like the space bar. My really only complaint lol. Definitely worth the price.

I really wanted to like this laptop, especially since the design was well thought-out. However, the biggest issue with many of these gaming laptops is horrible cooling capabilities. Granted, most of the issue lies with Intel CPU's as they are not very efficient in general and extremely outdated at this point. If only this came with a Ryzen based CPU then maybe I'de be posting a completely different review. I could not keep this thing cool enough to stop throttling. Also, had multiple freezes and hangups within the short few days I kept the device. Too many negative aspects to consider keeping this device.

Bought ASUS - ROG Zephyrus M15 15.6" Gaming Laptop and have not been disappointed at all. I do lots of graphic design and video editing and this laptop has never had a problem processing my stuff. And now I am going to be getting a VR system and this thing should be able to handle it with no problem.

Great laptop. Like expected it does get warm on the outside while gaming, but the fans do their job internally and keeps everything flowing beautifully. The only con I don’t like is the screen refreshes when you plug or unplug the power cord or Ethernet cord. Turns on quick and is overall a great laptop.

This is a great Gaming and Productivity, although the RTX 2070 max q isn't the best in terms of gaming, it gets things done. The only thing I did not like about the laptop was the fact that it has only one serviceable ram stick. The other 8GB stick is on board memory. It's a good laptop other than that.

The laptop is quite good. A little bit on the pricier side but you get features like liquid metal coating on the CPU, great build quality and a Thunderbolt port. The worst part is that ASUS doesn't offer extended warranties for Best Buy products. Something Best Buy needs to sort out with its vendors

Bought this for school/play. Needed the i7 for some of the programs I use for school. Everything runs great would buy again. One deciding factor for me was the option to add storage and memory if I really wanted to which is a huge plus. A little pricing buy hey that's computers for ya.
