Add me to the many 5 star reviews! Great specs at BestBuy sale price! On con side I have difficulty right clicking on this touch pad that is a single pad without separate left/right buttons but i am usually using a mouse. I do miss having a camera, SD slot and optical drive but i have portable ones when needed so only a slight inconvenience. The big thing for me is the Thunderbolt 3 port that is not even mentioned on BestBuy's site. This is why it is "VR ready" ...VR does not support HDMI even with adaptor. You need a display port or the thunderbolt 3 with a display port adapter to connect for VR. Also an additional slot for a second hard drive is another plus as well as some additional RAM. Currently a great value for gaming laptop.

Wanted to upgrade my desktop but unfortunately the GPU market is far too crazy, so I bought this laptop instead so I could game on the go. Pros -Really Nice 240 Hz Display -Great GPU Performance -15.6" Display fits the sweet spot for gaming while not being to large to carry around -I like the ASUS Controller Software for this laptop, it gives you nice control of this laptop. -Runs between 70C and 80C underload for games which seems to be pretty good for a laptop, make sure you game with it on a hard surface Cons -The battery life leaves room for improvement, but I guess you would never be gaming for long (greater than hour) and not be plugged in

Did a lot of research before getting this and it def paid off! A beast of a machine with a wonderful graphics card. Runs every game flawlessly when plugged into power supply. Would highly recommend!

Great specs! But it's too much for itseif to handle, by this I mean,this thing gets HOT! Like unplayabley hot, not just the body of it but the cpu throttles so hard it's unplayable, this got the same fps in a/c Odyssey as my old i7 8750h gtx 1060 laptop, if not worst, I cannot I'm good faith recommend this laptop for GAMING, creativity production it's amazing.

The features of the laptop are very amazing thin, led on the key bord change color, the screen is very amazing clear as it can get. Every time the screen pops up a different view and everything else is very smooth

It’s very useful to my son, gave this to him and he plays all the time and uses it to online schooling too. It’s like getting two for the price of one. Very good deal too. I would recommend this to everybody

The graphic card is good, you can play all game, but i don’t think it worth that much money, also the fan is loud when you playing game.

Best performance for the price. The keyboard is kinda bad, but it's kinda expected for the price.

This is a perfect laptop for gaming and you can even use it for school. The graphics card is great and the SSD makes booting up super fast.

I wanted a decent gaming laptop for when I travel. I mainly use it for gaming (Witcher 3 and Doom Eternal) and VMs.

We got this laptop for my mom and it has done all the different thing she needs for her diffrent sewing machines for embroidery designs. This laptop would also work great for 3d printing.

Excellent machine for the money!! Although it is a laptop and used for gaming, the battery life is great and the graphics and speed are better than expected. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Good laptop for gaming and pretty much everything else you need it to do out of the box; except.... Upon attempting to install an additional Samsung 970 EVO m.2 drive, the screw was so tight, Best Buy had to help get it off (and had to provide a new screw). The installed drive (non-bootable) did not get recognized. Best Buy technician found that Optane memory is being used and assumed that it was rendering the drive port unusable. Asus support was very responsive and polite. They informed me that the port was probably not working and the reason for the drive not being read because they 'confirmed' the Samsung drive met the specifications of the port. I proceeded to escalate my ticket to an Asus manager which led to my question to the engineers: "How can Optane memory be turned off so that the port can be used?" I will say they promptly got back to me within days. I learned that the Optane memory being used was the technology but not hardware driven so the port is active and should work. I then learned that I needed a Western Digital PC SN530 NVMe SSD BUT that is only for OEM and a consumer cannot buy it. SO...... I had to investigate further to learn that the WD Blue SN550 NVMe™ SSD is the parallel version. The WD Blue SN550 finally did work after losing several days off my life that I will never get back. All this would not have been an issue if these specifications were publicly available and Best Buy customized configurations were documented.

The asus rog is a great gaming laptop its 1tb of space and its 2070 graphics card with a ssd drive i think its worth its price but the protection plan that comes along with it is a bunch of crap.

This is my first time getting a gaming laptop , and I love it. I mainly use it for photography project like light room and photoshop and it runs great. This is a must but for not breaking the bank.

Good laptop, but fan very loud when gaming. Great screen resolutions and ability to set backlight color of keys is awesome.

I bought this to run CAD software for college, but i knew I'd also play some games on it. It has plenty of power for both in such a light weight and slim package. I think it will be perfect for me.

This notebook is the best! If you want a notebook to play games not too expensive that one os gonna fit fot sure! I use to play counter strike and if this one I play with 300+ fps!

This laptop is great speed but it doesn’t come with a WebCam or a CD drive for a heads up
