Great laptop initially but fans have concerns

Otherwise, it runs on performance or silent mode. My big issue is only after weeks the fans have died and then when they started working after hours of trying to fix it the fans kicked to high speed and make a loud noise as if they are hitting something. I had to turn it off and now the fans stopped again. After trying to work with forums and Asus the fans once again randomly started working normally. I'm now afraid this is going to happen again out of my return period and I don't want to spend 60 dollars to ship it out for repairs. I really had high hopes for this laptop but the fans are a known issue once I started searching for it online.

Great horsepower and storage capacity.

Starts right up with almost no wait time for boot up. One thing I didn't notice till weeks later is there's no camera or mic. Oh well, time to accessorize. If had to do over, I'd go for the 17" monitor, but was on a budget. One last kudo: there's very little adware to annoy the hell out you. And I haven't seen any since the first day.

After speaking with an agent, we decided that this would do the job for me. Keeping in mind that this is my first gaming laptop, I am very impressed with the power this machine has. The fact that I can have a full game running in the background and seamlessly switch to another is beyond me! The fans do get a little loud - but that could be due to the cooling pad I also purchased to keep the temp down. Overall, I am happy with my purchase!!!

Good Laptop

Only problem i have with this laptop is that it gets REALLY HOT when running games. almost felt like it could start a fire. I had to use a mini Vornado fan to help with the cooling. It is a laptop with a very good graphics card so it was expected , but i wasn't it expecting i could cook an egg
