Eventually blue screened a couple times after that. Geek squad via phone suggested a cooling pad but it was running over 90 degrees Fahrenheit and sometimes went higher and a cooling pad wasn't going to fix that. However, I returned the computer with no issues, but was disappointed that it wasn't a keeper.

We are recommending to complete a BIOS reset on the device, please follow the below steps to reset the BIOS.
Step 1. Please turn off your device completely.
Step 2. Turn your device on again and quickly press the F2 at the boot process to enter BIOS.
Step 3. Press the F9 in the BIOS to load optimized defaults and select Yes to confirm.
Step 4. Then tap on "F10" and select "Yes" (to save settings and restart)

Thermal issues in sleep mode.

Basically the computer goes to sleep and the fans don't run. It's a well documented issue. I left this laptop on my desk in sleep mode and went home for the day. Came back the next day and it was hot to the touch and no fans were running. Now it's completely unresponsive and trying to run a game looks like a powerpoint. Now I have to RMA this thing.
