    This laptop could have been something great if the space bar wasn't complete trash. If you rely on jumping in your video game I would skip on this whole line of asus laptops

    Due to Covid-19 I did my shopping for this computer online, and wanted a computer that had the features of my old computer. I was clear with this with the Best Buy representative I "chatted" with. I also "paid up" for this computer for the graphics with photos. I was disappointed to discover their was no CD drive like my last computer. Worse yet is the fact there is no camera in the computer system which hampers my many video meetings I have monthly. This computer is definitely NOT work the money!

    Fan stopped working and blue screen after 2 days.

    I just got my laptop 2 days ago, downloaded google chrome and valorant after 1 day of using it, fan stopped working and when restarted blue screen popped up and stuck at 100% got it returned and waiting for my new one. Right now I'm very disappointed in the product I'm getting from Asus.

    Not sure if I received a faulty one but it continued to crash trying to play even just basic games.

    It was great for 3 days.... On the third day of owning, the screen had a catastrophic malfunction. It rendered the laptop useless. I'm glad it happened within the first two weeks, so I was able to return it. Otherwise I would have been stuck with a $1600 brick. I would not recommend it.

    Fans failed a year into usage

    The GPU and CPU fans did not seem to do the trick, so I ended up purchasing a laptop cooling pad to help. That didn't help either. 12 months into my usage the GPU fan won't work anymore. Extremely disappointed with the build quality, considering other users are experiencing similar issues.

    I am a fan of ASUS products. However, this one was dead out of the box. MSI ended up getting my business this time. BestBuy was extremely helpful on the return. BB gets a thumbs up even though the laptop was junk.

    Presumed planned obsolescence

    I bought this laptop in February 2021. Almost a year and a half later, the screen stopped working, for no reason. Of course Asus doesn't want to take responsability. The repair will cost me almost like buying 2 new identical laptops. Be careful!

    An Amazing Gaming Laptop. This baby is HOTTT!!

    Man oh man do I love this thing, especially since I got it on sale. It is light but feels sturdy and built well. The screen is nice and big, looks great, and that 240Hz is something to love. So far every game I have played defaults to at the MINIMUM max settings. Can it go to Ultra settings ? Yes. But, you will start to see some frame rate drops, keeping in mind the 2070 while not obsolete is getting older. I love having the armor crate where you can program fan speeds, RGB color settings, power settings, performance, etc. etc. I really do love this thing, however nothing is perfect. The speakers are not loud. I mean even on %100 I still find my self lifting the system up to try and hear what is being said as the speakers are downward facing for some reason. Next complaint which is not really a complaint against the computer rather ASUS/BestBuy for using the Intel processor. A simple google search will show you that even the AMD Ryzen FIVE out performs the i7 by far, there is no contest. As to why ASUS decided to make this with an intel processor is beyond me and probaby why this is on sale now because no one want the Intel version when they can get the Ryzen one, do not let that discourage you though. As stated everything still runs amazing and I am very happy with the purchase. My biggest complaint though is the heat. Man oh man. Even with the fans on TURBO this baby gets up into the 90 degree range. Obviously this really only occurs when gaming but if your like me and play with your rig in your lap. Your done after 10-15 minutes max!! before I have to grab a case or something to put it on. Even on a flat surface like a table or case this baby still gets toasty and the heat actually rises up through the keys and can actually be distracting when trying to game. Other than that I give this computer five stars because it outshines in every other way. Only suggestion is maybe buy a cooling pad before you check out ;) have fun and see you on line.

    Well built laptop. I've had it for 4 years now and haven't had any problems. I was able to add an extra SSD to enhance my experience, but know that one of the RAM sticks is soldered on so upgrading RAM is impossible. Display is really good as well.

    Many problems less than two years after purchase. SSD problem forced me to send this item back to Asus for repair and they returned it to me with a broken display and missing RAM!

    I bought this in Nov 2020 and the Pc won’t turn on now. Went to a technician and the guy said the motherboard is the issue. Not what i expect from the price point

    Great laptop at a better price. Got this on sale and couldn’t find a better deal. Build quality is solid and can say it works flawlessly the keyboard is okay but at this price point the performance is amazing.

    Purchased it Thursday. Friday started setting it up, first reboot S.M.A.R.T message appeared already. Basically means future hard drive failure is imminent.
