This machine crashed three times in the first month I have been using it. I will never buy an Asus product again.

The quality control was bad, laptop screen failed to turn on only displaying black after 3 month.

It was a gift for my daughter. The laptop was defective, so I had it exchanged 3 times.

Screen was horrible, computer wouldn’t start after second boot

The Asus M15 is genuinely the best laptop experience I have ever had. It’s surprisingly light and sturdy for what it is and bonus, if you have any padded laptop Compartments in your backpack It can almost definitely fit them! I have a Herschel with a padded laptop compartment and it fits like a charm! The fans can get loud and the you have to tinker just a bit to get the curves just right but that’s actually awesome you can adjust the curves. Under volting and over clicking become super easy as Asus has software that works with you instead of against you. I do have some gripes though: -the stickers were a pain to take off and the one on the bezel left some residue I’m still wondering how to clear, it’s not extremely noticeable but it’s barely there -the heat the fans give off sometimes hits your hands when gaming so it can get a little toasty -the speakers sound nice but can get a little tinny at 90-100% volume - the biggest grievance is the power adapter though it’s really nice but if bent for too long takes that shape and the actual barrel plug doesn’t really click in or secures itself into place at least flush that is. All that aside those are literally the smallest thing i noticed but never took away from how amazing this laptop is. I got the on the $1250 deal so it was a steal at that price!

Does the job and still going strong. Would recommend gor kids who are starting off with gaming. Also great for regular use. Doesnt have a web cam but still is amazing

Very pretty laptop lasted me a while. Performance was alright personally should have gotten a higher performing one. However as my first this was very nice.

Years later and this laptop still plays all the newest games at the highest settings with ease!

I purchased this laptop for gaming and for data science purposes. It's fantastic! For the incredible price-point you get a powerful little laptop that can hold its own. I'm able to play games in ultra while running code in the background. It's surprisingly slim but doesn't feel flimsy at all. The screen is GORGEOUS! The design on the back of the screen is made of holographic dots, not a defining feature by any means but who doesn't love shifty shifty rainbows? I love that this machine is powerful but not bulky and doesn't have any extra bells and whistles like a lot of gaming laptops do. You know, the ones that scream I'M A GAMING LAPTOP HEY LOOK AT ME. I work in offices and in public a lot and just generally don't want people distracted by swirling lights, haha. I highly recommend this laptop for data science students, data science or research professionals looking for a cost-effective and ultra portable powerhouse, or for anyone who wants to game on the go.

Great laptop for gaming and productivity. Used this for school and playing video games and had very few problems. After 3 years of use, it runs pretty well.

Summary: Zero issues whatsoever. Fastest computer I've ever had. Could not be happier with purchase. Screen resolution is amazing (although I mostly use a monitor). I did not know gaming laptops could be this good. Perfect in every way. I purchased this about 2 months ago. I cannot stand when people buy something and post a review the next day because they can't possibly know anything about what they bought yet. I do. It's incredible. I got it brand new and at a very deep discount. The salesperson could not even believe the price. I was looking for something else actually and was considering the Asus Zephyrus as #2 or #3 option in my mind. When the price was revealed by the salesperson it wasn't even a close comparison. My guess from doing research and living with this for a couple months is to get more buy-in of the product Best Buy may have reduced the price so more people would buy and post about this amazing product. These are the main issues OTHER PEOPLE cite: 1. people hate the fan noise, really hate it; it's all about expectations though. I expect some fan noise when gaming and that's the only time I hear it (and not even every game). Also, there are modes that can reduce the noise or eliminate it entirely but I NEVER use them, just keep it on Performance. The fan noise is really at par for a gaming laptop. 2. the screen. I noticed several reviews mentioned serious screen issues, like it popping out even. This did NOT happen to me EVER <fingers crossed> but I can see how idiots might be a bit rough with it and cause their own issues, e.g., might open always from one side with one hand (laziness or just naïve). Like you are not supposed to do that. It doesn't say that anywhere but my common sense brain clearly sees how this could cause an issue if someone was too rough with a piece of high tech hardware not designed for military grade use (but using it like it was). I play Hearthstone, Fortnite (120fps), Flight Simulator, and have installed other games just to test the PC and it runs anything I want at very high or highest settings. There is one minor quirk. When off and charging the keyboard will light, once it reaches full charge the keyboard lights go off. But it seems like it toggles between 99% and 100% charged and the keyboard blinks. I can make it stop by turning off the keyboard lights completely but I like them to be on. Minor quirk that causes no issues I have seen.

Extremely fast and powerful in a compact and light form. I was initially concerned because I loaded up Minecraft to play with my kid and the fans kicked on full speed and it started dumping out a ridiculous amount of heat. I figured Minecraft wasn't pushing it that hard, so after some google searches, there was one simple setting got it quite down and manage it's heat much more effectively. I globally turned the max framerates down to 60FPS in ge-force settings and bam! Like magic, it runs most games nice and cool and keeps it from sounding like a jet ready to take off. Most things don't need 240FPS, and my eye can't even see the difference.

This computer has 5 main things going for it: 1. The light up keyboard is an amazing addition and it helps you see your keyboard in lower light. 2. When plugged in, all my games that I play run very smoothly at max graphics, I actually have not ever had such a smooth experience on Destiny 2 before owning this computer. 3. There is a button on this computer that shows you diagnostics for your machine while it is running and allows you to customize certain aspects of your computer. 4. It is a very fair price for what you get. 5. It barely gets hot, and it doesn't weigh a lot.

I got this laptop as a birthday present and I couldn't be happier. I wanted a laptop that was fast, looked good, felt good, and was portable. I got exactly what I wanted. First off, Asus and the software provided on this laptop is great. You can control your fans, your graphics, and more all in one hub. The RGB of the keyboard is also really cool and I never thought I'd care too much for it but it is nice to have. You can also customize these color effects as well. The keyboard itself is really nice. I know some may use the second number pad which this laptop does not have, but I never used it and felt like it took up space so I found this keyboard perfect. The design of the characters is also super cool and I love how the "F" commands are laid out. The "rog" button is also an awesome addition that allows you to quickly open that hub I previously mentioned. Next thing, the sound is amazing. It has great bass and a super clear sound even at max volume. I usually use headphones or separate speakers so this wasn't a huge factor in me purchasing the computer but they are awesome. I played Black ops 3 and Terraria so far, both of which run smoothly and perfectly. I can't wait to test out more games on this in the future. If you're thinking about an Asus, definitely do it. I'm only leaving 4 stars because I haven't had the laptop for too long and it's fairly new but I'm sure that this is a 5-star laptop. Hopefully, you find this helpful.

The graphics and speed are amazing. I'm coming off an 8 year old non gaming laptop and I had no idea what Ive been missing. The keyboard strokes are smoother, the machine is more solid and the graphics are incredible. One feature I really like is the Armoury Crate key. You hit this key on the laptop and it brings up a screen with all the performance data like how fast the fans are moving in rpm and temperature of the laptop. I wish I would have bought this 6 months ago.

The laptop overall was amazing. The gpu and cpu performed great and was excellent at running games.

Purchased this laptop for work and for gaming when I’m traveling. I like the minimalist design and it doesn’t scream “Gaming” whenever I need to use it in public. Specs are great for almost any task and the 1TB SSD is great for speed and lots of storage. I’m very pleased with this laptop!

Was a great laptop, but fans and thermal paste gave out after 2 years. Asus laptops are budget performance machines, so it makes sense, but it couldve lasted longer.
