Awesome Machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great value for performance. Comming from a 2020 Razer Blade Advanced, this was a big performance upgrade at half the price. I added a 2TB NVME to the second m.2 slot. The screen is beautiful, the non-smudge coating is really nice. It feels premium. Glad I upgraded.

Excellent machine for programming
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This machine is very underrated. Father models sell for a higher price with the same specs with a little more RAM. Instead, spend another $200-300 and get yourself 32-64GB RAM, and add an SSD to the secondary m.2 slot. NOTE: Stick with WD drives, as Samsung seems to be iffy with this motherboard. Hardware is great for programming intensive workloads. Fans are relatively quiet, not jet engines but definitely won’t wake someone up. Bear in mind that this is a laptop generating heat for an i9 and pushing a lot of air for its size. Battery life is, well, as expected. Keep in mind it’s an i9 + RTX4070 being run on battery so the charger will be your best friend especially when gaming. Typical workloads will last most of the day.

Aaaaammaaaaaazzinggg laptop! Top notch.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This item is definitely one of the best. I had the previous version and this one by far is better in many ways; the screen is better, maybe due to it being a 240hz and also the blacks are better reproduced as well. Also, this one doesn't have the suede texture that the previous one had on the keyboard area, which was very annoying because it was a finger print magnet. Also, it does not get as hot when gaming because of the extra fan that this one has. The battery keeps the laptop working for a long time, i'd say about 8 to nine hours. With triple A gaming is a lot less, 2 1/2 hours. Less demanding games possibly 4 1/2 hours. Overall, i really like or love this laptop. The craftsmanship on this one is way better as well. With the previous one, i had to go through several and was never contempt with it as I am with this one. If you get it, I am for certain that you won't regret it.

Great Performance, Pesky Problems
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to give this computer 5 stars. Its blazing fast. Good screen. It can handle everything I throw at it. It does however have an issue where it wont power on without the charger being plugged in. If i mash power repeatedly for 20-30 seconds it will turn on with just battery power. I'm currently at my 2nd geeksquad visit over this. After doing some research, this seems to be a very common issue with no resolution. If its just a luck of the draw problem, and the replacement i will be recieving works, then it will be worth the headache

Fantastic Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop has all the capability of most desktop PCs. The screen quality is excellent and definitely worth getting. Battery wears down quickly in Performance mode, but charges quickly as well.

Price point good, screen is meh
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I expected more from the screen on this laptop. The colors are not what I expected given that it is a so called "Nebula Display". That is where this model is set apart from the 4080 and 4090 model. This model with a 4070 does not come with the HDR display. That will set you back another $800 USD if you can find one. it gets even better though, if you want the HDR display and the cool Anime Matrix Display on the lid, you will need the 4090 model. That costs almost double what this laptop runs ($3500 USD). However, the price point of this laptop is very good given it's build quality and overall performance. It plays COD MWII without issue with most settings on Ultra. I get around 92 FPS. The screen can do 240 Hz, but that is not even possible with most of today's gaming titles. They should have stuck with the previous model's 165Hz and threw in the Anime Matrix. That would have been sick.

Fast! Great for school.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great! Super fast and great display. Gets a little hot if you play any kind of game for a 15 minutes or more, but that’s not the intended purpose for our purchase.

Yes.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop if you get it for a good deal. Otherwise I'd pick others for the price. This thing runs hot and is loud. But most gaming laptops do. The screen is the best part of this thing.

M16 OP
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing laptop, very capable of running anything you need. You should change a few settings so that way you can actually have the battery last for over 2 hours. Just orders a 32 gb ddr5 ram stick to get a bit more ram.

Amazing device but RAM upgrade is a MUST
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1st off. I'm loving this computer. Only, I'm loving it AFTER I upgraded to 64GB RAM. Yep, the description says 1 memory slot, but there are 2 with 1 currently occupied by the 16GB. So, you might not need to upgrade the RAM that high, but I sure did. Even then, it does NOT compare with a 2 generation old Macbook M1 Pro laptop when encoding videos with Adobe Media Encoder. The Macbook M1 Pro was able to encode a 60min 1080p MP4 in 29 minutes and this brand new ASUS did the same in 39 minutes. Now, for gaming? Games ran pretty good at 16GB. God of War and other premier titles ran nicely. But City Skylines II needed the RAM. I also stuck in a 4TB SSD and believe I'm all set :-)

Impressive Multi-Use Device
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast, light, meets every need we have. Purchased for a son who needed a dual purpose device (work + personal gaming/movies) and this has filled the bill. Highly recommend a cooling mat, as it can warm up quickly.

Almost perfect
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lets get the most negative thing about this laptop out of the way; they took away the ethernet port! Thats a huge let down from last years model M16. With that said I’m beyond happy with this laptop and the improvements. The screen is beautiful and the colors are perfect. Games feel very smooth with smooth frame rates on high or ultra settings. This is the gaming laptop you want, and its always going on sale! I got mine for $1,500, its well worth the price.

Fantastic Laptop, Short Battery Life
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic laptop with great audio, beautiful QHD HDR 240Hz display, gaming capabilities, and expansion possibilities. The only drawback is the battery life, but that’s to be expected with any gaming laptop. However, with battery saver on, integrated GPU selected, brightness down and display refresh rate lowered to 60Hz, I’m able to get about 7 hours of battery life for web browsing, listening to music, and most work-related tasks. I’m super impressed with this laptop and I couldn’t recommend it more.

Fast, powerful, sleek, clean and a little loud und
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TDLR; Fast, powerful, sleek, clean and a little loud under load. I know that I've only owned this laptop for a few weeks, but man this thing is a banger! It does very well when gaming. I'm coming from a GTX 10xx series mobile laptop, which only had 4GB of VRAM. The difference between that and this RTX 4070 and its 8GB, is highly noticeable. I went straight into Kingdom Come Deliverance and Dying Light 2 on my UHD TV and she handled every pixel with finesse. Sometimes hitting 90 FPS in Dying Light 2 and averaging around 60 FPS in both games with Ray Tracing enabled (except Reflection Ray Tracing in DL2. She didn't like that too much when in the open world space and even hit like 25 FPS). This puppy has a solid 14 core processor, which competes in all benchmarks I've read, and performs as you would expect a CPU of that caliber should perform. It's definitely up to any task you throw at it. WinRAR extractions (dozons of GB's) that used to take, maybe, 15 minutes; now take a maximum of 2 to 2 1/2 minutes. The RAM is fast, but 16GB by today's standard is a little low. I am however happy to have found out that this is expandable, and I can add up to 64GB DDR5 into it. That would really throw this for a loop and make it unbelievably fast. On that note, the SSD is extremely fast as well, but 1TB is also a little small by today's standards. Alas, this too can be upgraded rather easily. One more con; it gets rather loud when gaming. I get it, it's pumping out UHD games, and it needs t do its best to stay cool but the fans are a little on the loud side. All in all, this is a decent build for its cost and size. It does almost all things I require of it, without putting up too much of a fuss.

Over Heats
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price on sale I think this is a great computer. I like the settings for the ASUS, display is really nice, no lag, fees sturdy. Some things that concerned me is the battery life is like 30 mins off the charge. The computer OVERHEATS a lot and I bought good laptop cooler. Even with that there is the possibly that my computer’s HD was fried because of the overheating.

Great Machine. Does Anything I Need It To
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop has been amazing. The specific unit I purchased was an open box return that was spotless, and was at a price I couldn't refuse. It has played anything and everything i throw at it very well. The display is beautiful and it runs under 80C for most of the gaming I've had time for. The Armoury Crate is very straightforward and can give this unit a wide range from roughly 8-9 hours of battery in eco mode for average use, to about an hour of full power gaming. My only complaints are that it lacks a traditional ethernet port, and a number pad. 10/10, would recommend. 11/10 would recommend finding a good open box deal.

Sleek powerful laptop
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like the stealth look with minimal gamer vibes that helps blend in any setting. Has the power to get decent frames in games and the screen gets brighter than expected. I usually keep it at half brightness but nice to have that extra boost in harsher lighting. Upgradeability is superb with dual nvme.2 and 2 ram slots. Dual thunderbolts with power delivery on either side helps for docking setup. Speakers are also great. Only minor cons are would have wanted max battery capacity allowed in a laptop and maybe a full size sd card reader.

Great looking laptop also runs great!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Laptop runs great and the screen is also great to look at. I purchased the laptop for 3D modeling, school, and very light gaming. I have 4-stars because the heat blows on the screen. I definitely use a laptop cooler if I'm gong something heavy duty. Just using the laptop for normal use i get about 5 hours on battery.
