Customers are delighted by the ROG Zephyrus M16's impressive performance, stunning QHD display, and excellent graphics capabilities. Many appreciate its lightweight design and consider it a great value for the price. However, some users have noted concerns regarding its heat generation, battery life, and fan noise. The lack of an Ethernet port is also a recurring point of feedback.

    Good laptop but loud

The laptop works really well. I have no issues with schoolwork or gaming. However as soon as I start a game the fan kicks into performance mode to keep the laptop cool and it is quite loud. Id recommend having a cool pad for under the laptop to help cool the laptop and keep the laptop quiet. You can manually override the fan to a quiet mode but after about 5 minutes the laptop becomes too hot to touch.

So this laptop was and is my first step into real pc gaming, ive always been a console gamer and bever had interest in being a pc gamer especially laptops as i had my skepticism about them, but as ive decided to get into photography/cinematography i decided to get a decent and capable laptop capable of doing what i need it to do as far as editing, so far ive only been using it to game..mainly warzone which handles it well especially once you take off ray tracing which enables higher frame rates, i also played forza horizon 5 and will be trying other games, so far i ran into a couple issues with the device where the power button was flashing yellow so i uninstalled and reinstalled windows which seemed to fix it but it startrd doing the same thing again the next day, so i did a comolete reset of the laptop which seemed to fix it but i will keep monitoring the situation, i tried out an asus zephyrus m16 4070 which i returned and got this one instead which seems to be more capable than the asus, the per key rgb and stadium rgb are a nice touch and the fans are loud but much more quiet than the asus

This is a lovely laptop worth the price. I would recommend this laptop for someone who wants to play high spec games, and wants their work to be done at a greater speed. Display is fantastic, and battery life is outstanding ( depends on how you charge, and use). The black color gives an elegany look to the laptop. Overall, its a very good laptop.

This is a nice laptop. Zero lag, great graphics. Super clean design and a a great weight for moving around. I even pushed it (large graphic uploads), and it handled well. I was looking for a versatile system for college and gaming. and happy with this purchase. I've not done a lot of data processing on it, as I am not yet in classes, but for what I've used it for so far - streaming, etc. I've noticed the processor is flawless.

This is a great gaming laptop computer and is upgradable. Right after the purchase, I upgraded both the RAM to 64GB and storage. Both RAM and storage have two slots. The machine is fast. Further, I got the machine at a great price. Just waited until they had a sale, and no one could beat the price. Very pleased with the purchase.

Amazing machine, thin and light. just make sure to take care of it and treat it like your baby, regular updates, regular cleaning. It will do you justice! Don’t expect battery life from any gaming laptop, that’s just crazy.

This computer is great for gaming. Graphics are amazing and my games on steam load so much faster when compared to my old lap top. The GPU and CPU stay cool even after hours of playing and their settings are easy to change. Only concern is the top of the keyboard does get hot but is controlled well with a cooling pad. Thank you Best Buy, I love this computer.

By far this has been my favorite laptop. I'm an Architect and it easily handles all our 3D software and rendering needs. As a professional, I didn't want something with a gaming look but wanted that quality and capability. This laptops fits that bill beautifully. I also love how thin, light and quiet it is. Great laptop and I've recommended it sevral times already.

Pretty okay laptop. Performs well when it’s not thermal. Battery life is subpar and my left side USBA ceased working only a week or so after I got it. I don’t like that you have to use armory crate to turn off the boot up sound as it’s very loud and annoying. Fans are silent in silent mode, and not super loud in performance mode. Fans are good but not great at cooling when maxed out in turbo mode. I like how it swaps two 240hz on a charger and and back to 60hz on batter for power efficiency. The lack of a built in Ethernet port is kind of sucky though. Overall it’s a beast of a laptop for its size. The only downside is the not so amazing cooling when running heavy tasks for anything longer than a short period of time. If you get one that doesn’t have a USBA defect that is.

Fantastic laptop!! Great performance, it can handle pretty much any game. Will avg 180 fps on Overwatch 2 (according to Razer Cortex) and about 100 fps on Fortnite. The monitor is beautiful, and the build is strong. The sound system is very impressive, nice and full sound. Highly Recomend!!!

Was an MSI user and based on research and David at Best Buy, I chose this one. Love it. Super fast and clarity for my virtual reality interior architecture and design projects. Would highly recommend. Doesn’t get as hot as my MSI, comparatively not hot at all even after a 10 hour day. If you’re an architect or designer using 3D cad, this is an excellent option!

The ASUS ROG M16 is a beast when it comes to performance. The Intel Core i9 processor combined with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series GPU delivers seamless multitasking, smooth graphics, and impressive gaming experiences. Whether I'm running resource-intensive applications or playing the latest games, the laptop handles it all effortlessly.

Love this laptop - nice balance of speed, power, not overwhelmingly game-laptop-looking, with great graphics. Perfect to do all the data crunching, work, and gaming I was looking for, and perfectly expandable. Do recommend adding memory - it performs far better with a little more RAM.

The hardware speaks for itself. The i9 and 4070 work well for most gaming applications, only hitting limits for the most intense graphics applications. The screen runs buttery smooth with its 240Hz display and the brightness is competitive as well. The fans do get a bit loud, but quite alright for a thin gaming notebook and thanks to the 3 fan setup, it never gets too hot. The screen provides some leverage when open, pushing the bottom of the laptop up so it can breathe better. The mousepad is a standard windows glass touchpad which is excellent. The keys are satisfying and have good travel. Unlike the last gen, this laptop's customization is better, specifically in the RAM department. It now has 2 slots instead of the 1 slot + soldered 8GB. It also has an extra M.2 slot for expansions. The screws on the back are a little trick to get off, but I don't believe doing so voids the warranty. Battery life hovers around 4 hours on video playback/non graphics intensive applications. This is pretty competitive for its class.

This laptop checks a lot of boxes by being able to run all the productivity software and PC games. The NVIDIA 4070 GPU is solid for running the current gen PC racing games like Assetto Corsa Competizione and be able to use it for school, work and online MS Teams and Zoom meetings. And the price point really can't be beat. Highly recommend this laptop to anyone

An excellent machine and a no brainer at this price point. I used the savings from Black Friday to double the ram and triple the storage. This thing is a beast. Other reviews mentioned fan noise and they aren’t wrong. Highly recommend pairing with a nice set of headphones when the gpu fans spin up.

Would’ve been even better if I bought the higher tier model. Still upgraded the RAM and works like a dream. Keyboard is very nice too. Battery life is a little low, but considering how powerful this computer is. It makes sense why it’d be a drain so I can’t really fault it for that.

The computer is amazing so far! It runs the games I play so smoothly and, school-wise, it runs all the software a computer science student needs. The size of the computer is great and graphics are so nice. Battery life is good as well. Very much recommend to others looking for a computer that can last a good while!
