Excellent laptop so far I'm loving everything about to very fast and powerful. The screen is absolutely amazing very smooth and colors just pop.

This is a really good gaming laptop! Keep it plugged in at set to the battery saver 80% auto charge it will never go past that damaging your computer. Graphics are really good speed is super fast

Great performance for the price. Great display and build. The spacing of the keys on the keyboard however is quite small as compared to by gigabyte aero, so taking quite a bit to get used to

Great laptop. It's fast, portable, has an excellent display, great keyboard, and good speakers. There's plenty of settings you can change to maximize battery life when you're unplugged and at school, including disabling some of the cores in the armoury crate app. When you unplug the laptop, it automatically changes to silent mode, turning off the fan and reducing power. I haven't tested how long the battery lasts but the laptop estimates 8 hours. I'm just not convinced that the battery life is as bad as people say it is, just don't expect to be playing games while on battery since it not only drains battery life but also has crap performance. The laptop comes with a 1x16gb memory configuration, so you can get another 16gb stick for anywhere around $60-100 and enable dual channel and gain a significant performance boost. I believe the exact memory model is "Samsung M425R2GA3BB0-CQKOD" according to Userbenchmark. No real complaints, it's my first gaming laptop coming from a desktop (i3 8350k [email protected], RX 5700 XT) I've had for 5 years and I can say for certain that it is faster. I was a bit confused on how to get the graphics to switch to dedicated while gaming but I found out it switches automatically if you set the display mode on nvidia to automatic select and in the armoury crate set the GPU mode to standard.

First gaming PC and it is absolutely amazing. Runs games at high performance and is extremely fast and reliable. Completely has changed my perspective on PC gaming over console and its nice and sleek so it doesnt scream nerd computer when I am out in public.

Amazing and powerful gaming laptop! Very good price for i9 and RTX 4070. You wont regret purchasing this laptop for all modern and older gaming needs! Just wish the battery life was longer when not plugged in (which is never in my case!).

Fantastic build for the money, lightweight fast and comfortable to use. The screen is bright and has good colors, speakers sound decent, hardware runs every game that I've thrown at it at 150-200 fps.

Keyboard trackpad screen and upgradable make this a great choice the 4070 is not asus fault but nvidia really wattage does not go to 140 seems to stay 115 max still a well designed laptop lite under 5 pounds ill keep it

Good for the sale price. Runs extremely hot on the left side when on GPU graphics. Battery empties within 2 hours of unplugged on potatoe games and even while sleeping with lid closed

Good laptop, great graphics with a nice size display. Can get a little loud when running high frame rate. Its not that bad though, it’s priced well for what you get. Happy with this purchase.

I initially bought a G14 and was tremendously disappointed with the AMD APU it is built around.... the iGPU had ALL SORTS of driver issues which, in turn, forced me to use the nvidia GPU all the time. I sold it and bought this and WOW!!!! This is a fantastic machine - very solid build quality, the i9 1390 is a beast, the 4070 is a beast, my only gripe would be the 16GB of RAM but that is very easy to upgrade (added another 16 so I'm working with 32GB of DDR5 RAM.

Amazing gaming laptop! Can play all of the games out on ultra or high graphics depending on game. Great proce for this asus rog. Only thing is this model does not have the anime matrix.

The only issue I have is the fan noise when gaming is *insanely* loud. I upgraded to 64GB RAM and it helped a little, but it still frequently imitates a jet engine even on the lowest possible graphics settings. Tried every tip, trick, and hack on the internet to no avail. Added a cooling pad and that also helped a tiny bit, but it is very disappointing buying a gaming laptop and not being able to use it properly. Everything else is great, but given it is being sold as a gaming laptop I cannot recommend it for that purpose.

It’s a decent gaming laptop. It’s fast and is able to switch from standard GPU to NVIDIA. It has its quirked you need to get used to. When I first loaded it up it wasn’t saying there was an Nvidia card. Confused the heck out of it. You need to enable it in the bios. Also, my only disappointment is that it comes with its own charger and not USB-C. Thankfully, though, you can use the USB-C port on the right for charging in a pinch. It’s not fast but it’ll do if you don’t want to lug the power brick around.

The performance is very good. The screen is definitely very good but does not do hdr. The keyboard does not gave a number pad. Those are the only complaints I have.

Great laptop. Using it for gaming and browsing around the house. It's fast and it looks good. Upgraded to 32gb ram easy peazy. I happy with it and was on sale.

Love this laptop works great for gaming. Good price for a good power house of a laptop. Only problem i have is my steam lunch tends to freeze from time to time but other then that great laptop.

The laptop works great for everything ive ran on it. Beautiful display and graphics. The laptop does get pretty hot but I purchased a lap desk that keeps it slightly elevated and its been much better.

Honestly this laptop is of very high quality make, and is priced well for what you can currently buy (2023). The slots are varied enough for all my current needs (2 USB 3 and USB type c) along with audio jack micro-SD slot, and thunderbolt and HDMI slots. The computers inbuilt power saver knows when to ramp up its power consumption when gaming and contains a very large fan exhaust and from what i can tell holds 3 internal fans. The laptop does get hot along the center of the keyboard but most games do not utilize those keys so I have found it to be fine. Using 1234 or wasd you will feel essentially no overall discomfort even if the computer has been running on high for several hours. The massive heat exhaust seems to blow into the screen at some angles but I do not believe that it is capable of damaging it since this screen is a The feel of the model is good and the interior and keyboard feels fine despite it being plastic interior with metal casing outer. That feeling you get on labtops when you use the touch pad where you go I hate this is not present on the touch pad, which is incredible. On the graphics card I do know from the previous gen cards compared to the 4070 that the improvement is not huge, however I feel for a laptop where power efficiency is major consideration, this is a good choice of card since it uses less power for the same graphics of a 3000 series card. 16gb ram is enough and if more is needed you can upgrade this. Same goes for memory 1tb is enough but you can seek to upgrade later if it is not. (you will need to reinstall windows though. This laptop I feel is not a great candidate to run long periods on battery power. If you game it will only run a hour even on power saver mode. For lighter use such as video, text docs, or web browsing probably will run for several hours completely fine. Recommend keeping the thing charging when used in most power intensive cases. Lastly, the display is a good size at 16" and 240 refresh rate is enough for any frame rate you want to run games at. I have not noticed anything bad about this micro LED display and feel the colors are true enough for my needs. I do not have a artists talent so your own research would need to be done if you need this for drawing. Well satisfied with the product. I feel that the normal issues with laptops are mitigated with clever design (heat transfer is a example.)
