I travel a ton, like over half of the year. I wanted something good for gaming with the 2k display that i could carry around. This immediately gets both of these points, its suprisongly thin with small bezels so its not much bigger than my 14 inch work computer. Additionally, i was able to add an additional SSD and upgrade the ram!!! I like it.

so far so good fast and furious recording music has been an adventure with it. WOT graphics awesome

I have had this laptop for almost a year and it has been a champion of a gaming laptop. The only reason for the 4 stars is because after only a year of use I have to replace the charging brick. Ps. It was super easy to upgrade the ram and add an additional SSD

So far its been a really good gaming tool but the loudness of the fans and how hot it gets worries me sometimes

Powerful laptop thanks to the 4070, great IPS screen though can be a bit large for travel.

Great laptop for any use. Battery life is a little short, but that is to be expected. Amazing display and super fast internals.

The laptop handled games and CAD applications really well, but I ran into a few issues. Sometimes the keyboard would stop working, even though the laptop was on, and the only fix was to restart it. Another problem was that it wouldn’t start up unless it was plugged in. After some digging, I found that disabling all the startup apps solved that issue. Unfortunately, things got worse later on. The laptop started shutting down randomly, showing an error, and then going into a repair loop that never actually fixed anything. A hard reset didn’t help—it just kept looping. I took it to Geek Squad, and they tried reinstalling Windows and even removed the drives, but nothing worked. In the end, they sent it to the manufacturer, and I got a refund so I could exchange it for something else.

Good laptop. GPU is mid-tier turned excellent through Nvidia software, especially for demanding games like Cyberpunk.

I bought this in Sep 2023 after doing a good amount of research. The baseline model was 1499 and I upgraded it with the CORSAIR - VENGEANCE 32GB (1PK 32GB) 4800MHz DDR5 C40 SODIMM Laptop Memory. 1499 was a very good deal at the time, and a friend brought it back for me from the US. I have been using it everyday for 5 months now including transporting it in a backpack on a bike. I have mostly used it for work, trading, movies, and gaming (AC, beamng, AOE2 HD). Its gets hot on some of the more demanding games but not a biggy. Screen res is very good. The only other issues I've had is that occasionally (maybe once a month) the screen has randomly turned off and I've had to restart it. I also sometimes get the blue screen (system error). Also, the frame is prone to smudges. Apart from that for the price I bought it and the specs included this is still one of the best deals out there. Battery life lasts 4-5 hours on intensive work tasks. Nearly 7 hrs if you put on power saver. Highly recommend this buy. You'll be getting upper mid range specs for a lower mid range price.
