I had to reapply the liquid metal which helped with the heat throttling it started experiencing after the first year. But then it started heat throttling much quicker and got to a point where it can barely handle very light gaming with very low resource usage and settings turned down to low for everything, while also being up on a riser and a desk fan to help with air circulation. I switched back to my desktop tower PC and upgraded the gpu. It sucks that laptops have such flaws that cause overheating to be so common and debilitating.
