When you open the laptop, the monitor covers over the main exhaust fan for the whole unit. Resulting in the monitor overheating, the GPU overheating, and CPU overheating when playing any game more GPU intense then say, minecraft or terraria. It struck me as odd at first, but in the winter it wasn't AS much of a problem, now that summer is hitting it's regularly crashing completely, or the monitor goes full pixelation and THEN crashes and if I'm lucky automatically shuts down and reboots, but more often then not I have to let it cool down for a while then turn it back on. Lesson to be learned: Don't cover your own exhaust ports, no matter how cool the folding monitor feature may look.

But clearly either a display unit or something else. A couple of items tossed in the box, no packing material, and looks like a liquid was used to wipe the keyboard. Will spring for a fresh box if they are available again.
