    Nice computer but has lots of issues with crashing. Lots of “unexpected kernel” blue screens of death and weird issues when apps change screens and the backlit keyboard flickering in sleep mode. Just feels like a rushed unfinished product (my unit at least).

    An incredible disappointment

    I've had two ASUS desktops & have nothing but good things to say about them, but this laptop (which I purchased October, 2023) has caused me nothing but problems. The keyboard tends not to work, with many of the hotkeys - like for the screen brightness, touchpad on/off, key backlight, etc. -- seemingly deciding on a whim if they will or won't work any particular day. Also, adobe products don't run properly on it, things like Adobe Premiere Pro or Photoshop aren't compatible with the GPU. Sometimes updating the drivers helps, sometimes not. And the battery life is laughably short & the time it estimates is always wildly incorrect. It'll say 5 hours then only last 2. Also, a lot of older games from EA don't work with the certain intel cores (including this one), apparently. Which for a gaming laptop is a pretty big drawback. And when I connect with GeekSquad remotely for them to try to help with fixes, they just give me a "tune up" & then end the call without actually helping resolve any of the issues. A huge disappointment with ASUS and Best Buy in general. This laptop has been nothing but a headache. Horrible.

    Open-box unit was defected…

    Received an open-box unit with speaker issues… not sure how it made it pass inspection. Heard multiple incidents where Asus had QC issues with different parts. I’d definitely be cautious before purchase. Other than the factory defect the laptop worked wonderful but the rubber feet underneath does stick out quite a bit and gets in the way when sliding into backpacks.

    If you like your screen wobbling, and being worried that your computer suffered permanent damage as the result of you static shocking it, then this is the laptop for you! No really, asus, what the heck man? Why are the hinges on the screen so flimsy? Also, straight up does not have an ethernet port like the specs say.

    Dead pixel with in a month of using it. Battery health down to 90% in less than 4 months. I think 3 stars is generous.

    Crashes non-stop and screen freezes periodically

    Look elsewhere if you’re trying to find a decent gaming laptop. The games I play constantly crash and so far, I’ve changed several settings around with the computer software and the game and there’s no luck in resolving the issue. This is a very poorly made product, which is surprising since it’s an ASUS. It’s got some power to it but I’ve had it for as little as 2 months so way past being able to return it unfortunately. But having issues so early on for a $2,000 laptop is pathetic. I’ve seen multiple reviews now of several other people having the same issues. When buying a future computer, I’ll be sure it isn’t an ASUS one after these horrible experiences I’ve had with it.

    Bad quality control

    Although my Best Buy experience was great, this laptop has a major quality issue. I purchased in August and after exactly one year of use (mostly school and mild gaming), the 'e', 'h', 'g', and left ctrl keys stopped working! I tried drivers, software, uninstalling armory crate, using ghelper, etc. but the issue persists. I can now only use the laptop with an external keyboard. Very alarming that ASUS has provided little to no feedback on the issue!

    This lemon cannot be used for gaming

    Just picked it up from being repaired for the 4th time replacing the motherboard. The screen goes black when used for gaming. The laptop would be good if we bought it to play Solitaire and check email only. We think it's the CPU that is the issue, now the warranty is expired. I need a refund, I guess we'll go to court to get that under the lemon law.

    I bought one and it keeps overheating and givinv me the bsod and i just got it and they screen had desd pixels from what im assuming is the overheating and it overheats from just 30-60 minutes of use i would not recommend!!

    Best Buy and Asus, no one is responsible

    Be careful. If your laptop breaks Asus will refer you to Best Buy. If you chat with Best Buy they will tell you it is overheating because 2k24 requires a better graphics card than a 4070. A high end laptop with a low demanding game. When you ask if they are A+ certified to give that advice they get offended and refer you to Asus. Asus then refers you to Best Buy. Ill never, never buy a laptop from Best Buy again. I advise you also don’t.

    Broke right out of warranty

    Barely a year old and broke. I jokingly called this laptop my baldur's gate 3 machine. The point is I don't play very many games nor use or over use my laptop too much. It broke barely a year out of a warranty of course, very disappointed, upset, I spent a lot of money on this laptop, and just feel like garbage now. They don't even sell it anymore so this review is probably pointless into the void but I'm upset and needed to vent somewhere
