This laptop does NOT have the MINI-LED screen that reviewers rave about. This is a regular 500nit ips panel. This laptop also does not have the led's on the back/top part of the display. This is a budget version of the laptop.

Going from a 165HZ to 240HZ laptop requires 45% more performance from your GPU, nevertheless a FPS of over 240 on any triple A game is never going to happen. This is a technology mismatch, the GPU can’t handle 240 FPS at 1440p for any games.

Annoying lag while playing.

Defective

In the last couple of months I’ve had one problem after another. The geek squad tells me their sorry and tell me that it weird that the computer is acting the way it is, they can’t figure it out. Because of these problems the greek squad isn’t considering the problems big enough for store credit even though I’ve been a total tech member for years. I feel cheated.

This will give BBY bad reputation—SORRY

Was holding off this purchase till the (much awaited) price drop. Boy this is PLASTIC..cheap laptop. Nothing in it says Quality and performance. Either Nvidia’s 4070 naming is messed-up or this is severely BINNED laptop. Nothing is 140watt..all marketing. Someone is trying to Scam consumers..My older 3070ti performs 10 fold better than this. Not worth the sale price also..screen is super bright (which might be good) but rest all is MEH..BBY is good but it’s only business for them..am pretty sure they are NOT aware of what they are selling (esp in this unit).

Computer Stopped Working

Now I called ASUS and they said I need to take it in because it is a fire hazard. The issues I had were the screen wouldn't turn on at all and now the sound completely doesn't work. Very disappointed by this computer and it didn't even last me a few months!! I do not recommend buying it.

Bad price. Bad product.

Ran great until suddenly hard freezing. This happened a total of four times in the span of 24 hours. Absolutely pathetic quality. System is also overloaded with pre-installed gloat-ware that slows the performance of the laptop. I'll never buy another ASUS product. If someone is spending this kind of money, the system needs to be optimized and ready to run AT LEAST a few hours worth of gaming sessions.

Good, there could be improvements.

Decent selection of ports, with a combination of a great display, and fair price make this laptop worth while. The biggest downside about this laptop is the lack of ethernet port, which maybe necessary for live streaming. Finally, the RAM usage in Windows 11, and with all of the bloatware that comes with the laptop, causes the laptop to use around 6gb/16gb out of the box. This could be limiting for some workflows that require more than 10gb of ram. Thankfully the RAM is upgradeable, and will be something I may consider in the future.

Quality problem

Within 30 days started restarting on its own and freezing up to a point that would even load bios. After exchanging for a brand new laptop within 2 hours started doing the same. The screen constantly goes on and off. this problem is not worth the price. Customer support sad that needs to be mailed for repairs and won't get the laptop back for a couple of weeks. What the point get brand new laptop if its in repair withing 30 days.

Have already had to send it back twice due to the same issue (charger quits working). Best buy is no help and would not exchange. If you do make the mistake of doing business with best buy, make sure you pay for their overly expensive insurance to get your money back for this product. Absolutely shameful
