Customers commend the ROG Zephyrus M16 for its impressive performance, stunning display, and crisp graphics. However, some users report experiencing significant fan noise and heat generation, particularly during gaming. Concerns were also raised regarding battery life and the keyboard's design. While the lightweight design is appreciated, potential buyers should consider these trade-offs.

This is the perfect machine for me! The pricing was pretty good as well.
Can run Microsoft flight simulator at 4k (external monitor) with no problems at all!
Overall, awesome device, well worth the bucks… however one little thing. I with Asus didn’t have the 8GB of memory embedded into the motherboard. If you’re planning on upgrading your RAM, you may want to rethink buying this laptop. Because 8 GB is on-board and the other 8GB is on memory slot… but there’s no extra memory slot. So, if you’re want to upgrade RAM, either need go get 16GB (1) or 32GB(1)… you get the idea.

Gaming Beast on the go!

Great computer/mobile gaming beast! The computer can basically handle any new game on the market without even breaking a sweat. If you are looking for a computer to handle day to day computing needs as well as all the most advanced games, look no further.
Plays everything I have thrown at it with no issues. Windows 11 is a little new to get used too but other than that I don't have any negatives. If you were to force me to pick one, it would be it gets hot, but I use an external stand with fans so doesn't bother me much.
Would highly recommend it!

Solid Laptop All Things Considered

Unique circumstances led to this laptop. This was bought as a graduation gift but was spurred on by a critical failure in my previous laptop. I can't say I would 100% repurchase it if it was my own money and a more relaxed purchasing process. But the hardware is more than adequate, and most of my minor qualms could be attributed to most mid-high gaming laptops: battery, fan, and unnecessary lights.

Will this replace your main computer? No. Is it great for gaming while on Vacation? Sure.
Not bad for a gaming laptop. Can get toasty under a heavy load. Need to enable turbo or gaming mode in the armory crate before gaming, or else you'll be capped at 60 fps. Get an average of 100+ on overwatch and lost ark. My concerns are like other owners, the exhaust vents point up at the screen. Unsure what the long-term impact will be for the screen with all the heat dumps.

Bought this to replace my previous Gaming laptop ( ASUS VivoBook Pro Thin & Light 17" i7-8550U) This was a very nice upgrade! The laptop itself is just GREAT!!! 12th Gen I9, RTX3060Ti and a great screen. I just love this machine! I replaced the internal ram module with a 32GB module. Just a few screws and easy replacement.
I have found the internal NVidia graphics to give a very nice gaming experience. The RTX 3070 Ti renders all the games I play very well! No Lag or artifacts!
If you buy this laptop, I doubt you will regret it!

Love this laptop, I didn’t have any dead pixels. But when it’s in turbo mode…. Expect to turn the AC on and wear headphone.
Would buy again. Runs blender, warzone, and rocket league without a hitch.

I needed a new laptop that could handle working in Photoshop AND that as my needs changed, I could expand the memory in it too. I'm not a 'Gamer' but when I saw this on sale at the store, it fit the bill for what I needed. Set up is critical for Photoshop and this is fairly easy with this computer and there is power to spare. Glad I purchased it.

I wanted to like this product.....but I'm upgrading my current laptop to get away form the loud fans and the cooling issues. If this machine better optimized performance to where the fans and cooling mechanisms ran smoothly....purchasing this would've been a no brainer.

She hot and she's loud! Great screen but performance suffers from thermal throttling i9 and the 3070 was also burning up. 100+c while gaming on both . Fans are louds and high pitched! I returned for MSI cyborg and it's performing better than this at 8gb ram!

The system was awesome but for one major drawback, overheating and reason for 3 stars only. The system was fast, beautiful screen and resolution. I really liked it a lot but think Asus rushed this out without proper testing because it overheated during updates. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and kept for a couple more days but did not get better. Always ran hot when using for basic and local actions. Copies of files from one folder to another brought interior temp to 95 degrees and shut down once 96 degrees was reached. Could not use this way and had to return for another brand.

Way better than the reviews make it out to be

First off, the elephant in the reviews: YES, it has 8 gig soldered and 8 gig on a SODIMM stick. YES, this means that above 16 gig of ram you're limited to single channel. NO, this does not mean you can't install a larger stick, and NO, doing so does not make it all run in single channel. NO it will not noticeably slow down the laptop if you do.
In every other way the machine is completely solid. Currently running two M.2 drives, screen is actually a little better than the 11th gen model, keyboard is nice, and Asus bloatware in services is typically annoying. Machine runs decently fast, if a bit loud, but I haven't once seen it push over 90c, which for those who don't know better, is positively ARCTIC for a modern processor [intel OR AMD] They pulled the fingerprint scanner for Windows Hello, which seems to work better than I'm used to, and I've had no issues running my 6900XT through my eGPU.
But there is ONE weird thing about this machine, and the 11th gen I had for about a week had the same issues: The USB A ports are oddly tight.... I was afraid I had the WiFi dongle for my mouse upside down at first.
