Misleading ASUS Rep in Q&A

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.According to the ASUS rep in the Q&A section this laptop was supposed to come with 16gb of ram soldered to the motherboard and have an open ram slot for future upgrade. This is just not true. This laptop has an 8+8 configuration. This is frustrating as the rep should have sufficient resources to answer the question correctly or just not answer the question at all. In my opinion, laptops costing $2000+ should not be coming with 8gb soldered for any reason in 2022.

The laptop has an 8GB RAM soldered or onboard the motherboard, and an 8GB RAM stick on the slot, which can be removed and be upgraded to a 32GB RAM stick.

Although it does run hot, it is made to handle those temperatures so no need to worry. I have heard people getting bad QC, just make sure you check the backlight bleed and run some benchmarks. The one I received is in perfect shape.

Nice looking but not great

Overall the computer is slick and looks nice, very lightweight so those are some pros. Cons are it only has two USB ports, heats up easily with the most basic game even its crazy, battery life is a joke maybe lasts an hour without needing to he plugged in. Lastly it is super loud when the fans kick in, which is like every few minutes. Doesn’t seem like this think can take much as far as gaming.
