Really the best gaming laptop under 1,000$ out there. The performance is amazing and will easily last any gamer at least 3 years before needing to upgrade.

Great gaming laptop, fans can get to sound very loud and the laptop gets very warm when playing heavy games, but runs smoothly and a great framerate. Just careful with the overheating!

I tried several "deck" type devices (the rog ally, the legion go) before deciding that what i really wanted was a laptop. This laptop works great. It has plenty of power and storage for current gen PC games, as well as a very generous set of inputs (both full sized usb-a and the smaller usb-c), which is rare now a days. I mostly use it with a dock and monitor setup and love it, but it works great as a laptop as well. Apart from games, i use this with office 365 (which did not come with it) for writing and use it for general web browsing and other standard pc tasks, and find it great at all of the above.

Has been a great laptop so far. Runs a little hot but seems gaming laptops just do that.

Laptop runs multiple screens and apps smooth. Is tough without being overly bulky. Battery life is incredibly long, especially coming from my MSI Stealth

Great laptop for the price. Plays most games at ultra setting. Screen is the only weakness. Wouldn’t pay more than the sale price of $999

ASUS has been the only laptops i've purchase for the last 20yrs. I bought this specific one for my nephew to use @ college. His initial reaction was that he never heard of ASUS. I told him you've love them, they build them to last!

I purchased this for my son. This laptop is perfect for the beginning to intermediate gamer. He loves it! There is no lag and the graphics are great!

Runs smooth. Easily upgraded to additional 2TB of storage. Runs smooth when connected to TV and monitor. Good for gaming.

I bought this mostly for running Unity for video game production and programming purposes as well as gaming on the side but it runs super smooth and is very responsive. I haven't had any issues at all with it and would recommend it.

Best laptop I've ever had. Got it had a pretty decent price for how well it performs and lasts.

I only had desktop pc in my life. And that wasn't this much noisy. If i play a little strong game, I have to open turbo mode and its so noisy. Performance mode is okay for league of legends or something. But i'm not sure is it same on all laptops or not. Display is not good.

Overall good laptop, but what I don't like is that CPU temp always around 95% while playing, not sure if that suppose to be in every game possible in the performance mode. Hope it is not a problem. ASUS also could just made 1x 16gb RAM instead of 2x 8gb so you buy 2x 16gb for memory upgrade now... Right side of power button is so concaved unevenly that it looks like it is broken. Anyway for a grand it is solid good laptop
