[Employee of bestbuy] This thing is a BEAST! I am very honestly impressed with this laptop. My only problem with it is that on max game settings, the CPU tends to run hot around the mid 90s, and occasionally spike to the high 90s. I am not a fan of such a high temperature and it scares me that the quality and the functionality is going to degrade over time. The GPU temperature is nothing to worry about, the fans work actively enough to keep it cool. It has not gotten hot for me thus far. CPU needs its own fan imo, would have been nice for them to add a 3rd fan like the Zephyrus M16 to make this the perfect laptop. Screen - Amazing color range compared to the pervious TUF models. Id argue that range and quality is better than your baseline Zephyrus G16 model. However, it would have been nice to have a slightly taller screen. The refresh rate being 144 instead of 165 isnt all that noticeable, so dont worry about that. Witcher 3 FR - 120s Planet Zoo FR - 40s Hogwarts Legacy FR - 80s to 90s Very good PC. If you are debating between this laptop and the Zephyrus G16, go with this Tuf model.

This is the strongest gaming laptop you will get for your money. You can always hook it up to a stronger display via hdmi. It doesnt overheat but with a lap cooler it stays nice and cool. You really cant beat the 4070 rtx at this price point.

I hate writing bad rewiews but this one really disappointed me. I have been researching laptops for months, trying to find the best for my needs, and when I saw this one I was excited. Decided to buy it for myself as a birthday present. Best Buy delivered it to me early on my Birthday so I was even more happy. Right when I opened it and completed the windows setup, things started to go sideways. I noticed apps would open then close right afterwards. The mouse would move but nothing would respond to clicks or keyboard commands and then all a sudden things would catch up and menus would start popping up then closing. Even opening windows menu would freeze. Windows was fully updated, and I ran Asus’s armory which updated everything including a BIOs update. Problems only got worse. Sometimes when audio would play, the system would crash. I eventually started getting blue screens. Went online for help, was told maybe driver corruption, so uninstalled and reinstalled all drivers. System became more unstable. I then was told to try a fresh windows install, so I made a Bootable USB and installed Windows. After that, system seemed fine. I ran all updates, and everything seemed okay. I decided maybe that was the problem, so I could finally test the machine and see what it could do, so I installed Steam. There I thought I would test it on cyberpunk, and within fine minutes the game crash. I retried four times, each time it would crash after a few minutes. I checked temps, and it seemed cool. I thought, maybe because cyberpunk isnt known for being stable, its the game, so I droped all settings from default settings and tried again. I was about ten minutes into the game and it crashed. Decided to try it on a less demanding game like Orcs Must Die 3, and same problems. After the thrid day of trying to fix this thing, I was fed up and took it back to besy buy. They offered to exchange it, and I thought about it, but I was so angry by that moment, I said no I dont want to risk getting another dud, so they gave me my money back. Best Buy made the process so easy and painless, and I thank them for that. Few days later, I saw Best buy had the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 on sell for the same price I got the Asus TUF (1099$), so I bought it. First thing I did after updating Windows was try and stress test it. Started with Diablo IV. Ran perfectly fine. Afterwards, tried three hours of cyberpunk. Ran perfectly fine, minus a few stuttering moments. To be honest, I am glad the Asus TUF laptop was a lemon, because I really like the screen on the Acer better. I am sure if I exchanged the Asus instead of returning it, then I probably would have been okay because it has really good reviews and even on YouTube it gets praised, but I just didn’t want to waste anymore of my time on it and seeing the word TUF kept enraging me after that experience.

Its great. One of the cheapest labtops with a 4070 in it. Has a number pad which makes it more functional for school than alot of gaming labtops. Evrything runs smooth and cool. Great battery life I routinelly get more than 10hrs of non strenious use.

One of the best laptop. Works well with AI and machine learning.

I love computing, it's a good balance for working and studying, plus it's very good for gaming, editing videos, and design programs.

The specs years of use rival gaming consoles. Amazing deal. None thing of note. It gets Very hot. Keep a portable fan to help keep it cool. But a 4070 for sub 1K. Amazing deal. I think it went up in price since i got it.

Amazing computer runs everything ive thrown at very well! I use it for music, editing, and a large amount of gaming runs every game Ive played beautifully and the screen and keyboard are perfect!!

Got on sale for a little over $1000. Runs incredibly well and is built just as good. Straight-to-the-point laptop with nothing excessive but some good gaming capabilities. Can play new any game on high settings.

Amazing! Would get again. Definitely a good add on to any purchase if gaming - runs everything on Max settings. By far the fastest gaming machine I've ever owned.

Awesome little pc runs perfect with all the games i put on it. It runs cyberpunk 2077 and call of duty on the ultra settings with no issues. Asus always delivers.

I bought this at $979. At that price i dont think there is a computer on the market right now that can beat it. I also purchased the 2023 G14 4060 around the same time and this is my daily driver.

Very good computer, runs the small games that I play regularly. It does have an alert sound like an alarm whenever your motherboard is considered overheating, however the laptop doesn't give you any options to view why or how to fix the problem. No options to change the volume or type of alarm either.

Everything runs super smooth, reallu great. I finally got around to hookitinf it up to an external monitor. It doesnt matter what I plug into there no signal detected. Bios ia up to date, so are drivers. Been back and forth with ASUS and nothing has worked

Needed a new gaming laptop for my wife that wanted something more portable than the traditional desktop gaming. Computer is more than capable of playing current titles at high quality, and isn't as noisy as many comparable laptops we've had in the past.

It's a great laptop! Decent graphics and it allows me to navigate very nicely.. I would totally recommend this gaming laptop to anybody that's interested in finding great intermediate grade computer...

My son loves this laptop! Graphics are great and responsive. Got it at a great price too.
